How to overcome the timestamp conversion curves?

Greetings,

I have a little trouble to implement some "math" of time in an ongoing project.  This is the first time I did, so I met an unexpected obstacle.

I have two time controls ".  Each are configured to display only the time and no seconds.

On my first run of the VI, control less the other sucked if the time of two values were the same.  But after setting a time control the first time, a rounding error has been introduced.  Now, if I subtracted what appears to be two identical values, I get a difference of one second.

What I'm not sure of, is the best way to overcome this problem.

This indicates that the seconds are not the same. You've probably used the up and down commands. This changes the seconds even if you're not viewing them. You can define the range of data to an increment of 60 so that the increment/decrement move in 60 seconds, but for some reason, this prevents the work decrement button. You don't know if it's a bug or not. Need to study...

P.S. You need not convert to DBL to subtract two stamps. Just the wires directly to the subtraction function.

    Yes, it works for both. The input of this API argument is the name of the resource object and the Office of receiver can be approved / target you created. SO for your resource target reconciliation, it works for you.

    No, you can never remove the component "hour" of a DATE.

    If you do not want to display a date in time (display purposes only!), use TO_CHAR to "transform" the DATE to a string with the format mask

  • FFT waveform (file converted from Matt file lvm) - how to overcome the error dt < = 0?

    Hello

    I use a lvm file after conversion of Matt file. I wanted to get the fft spectrum. I get this error message this dt waveform<>

    How he overcome?

    I have attached the matte file and the vi that I used.

    Best regards

    The Forum is a bit special files that can be attached. Creating a zip file often works. Sometimes, you can change the .txt extension. If you change the extension, please indicate in your message which was the extension of the moose.

    It seems that data in the file has a time column and a column of amplitude. The LabVIEW waveform data type is a cluster of a table of amplitudes (Y), sampling interval (dt), from the time (t0) and optional attributes. That's what the power spectrum VI requires as input. The t0 values is not used if the default is fine. the value of dt can be calculated by the difference of the two adjacent values in the time column. Given that the first value is equal to zero, the second value is equal to dt.  Use the primitive to build a waveform of the palette of waveform.  Expand it to view the dt element.

    In the VI attached all lines is an indicator that contains your saved default file data. Graph XY plots that data.  After subtracting the way to get rid of a continuous component, the data is converted to a waveform. The power spectrum is calculated and displayed using the same VI as in your program. It also uses extract several Information.vi tone for the frequency and amplitude of the main peaks in the data.

    Interestingly, the lower frequency of the spectrum a harmonic of 60 Hz while the tops are almost sharp space 4 kHz ~ 100 Hz apart.  The broad peak near 2.1 kHz does not seem to have noticeable components to 60 or 100 Hz.

    How to avoid the Type of dynamic data (DDT)? Stop using screw Express! For reasons known only to EITHER screw Express a deliver their outputs via the DDT. Except when you open the block diagram of the express VI, there is no way of knowing what the underlying data structure on a thread of DDT.

  • How to get the timestamp to start at zero hours?

    Hello.

    I build software that records the values to Excel.

    The user can specify how long the test should run for, and the elapsed time should be defined as a string in hh: mm [:]

    The only problem is that the timestamp begins at 01:00 (calibrated 1904-number I guess). How can I get the count from 00:00:00, or perhaps to subtract the time at the beginning then it starts at zero.

    If you run the VI, you will understand what I mean.

    Thank you!

  • How to apply the timestamp and the whole barrel distortion correction?

    Hi guys! My first time ask your question here and I hope to have your advice on this challenge edition. Right now I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and FastStone Image viewer to make an image and video editing. I use GoPro Hero HD 3 cam to take pictures at certain intervals of time, and then then combine in a timelapse video. Capture settings are 7mp to average angle. I know that the GoPro take pictures at 12 mp W, but as you know the GoPro is infamous for barrel distortion, so with higher settings, it's even worse.

    I'm loaded with fixed barrel and adding timestamp feature distortion on my timelapse videos. I used FastStone Image viewer to add timestamp or first CS6 to distortion correction. However, I was unable to do both at the same time. Now, I know that the CS6 has a kind of timecode function that allows timestamp to shown, however my timestamp time data must be extracted the original meta data, while the functionality of timecode CS6 shows just the total length of the video, not the original date and time when the data has been captured. Using the FastStone allows me to show a real progression of time on entering data from beginning to end (I work the JPEG images in this case).

    Now because FastStone extract the timestamp of original image data and displays them in the text label format, when I tried to apply the lens correction on CS6, it would also distort the text label itself. I tried the other too, where I corrected barrel distortion in CS6 then imported the images to FastStone, but then I would lose the metadata of origin (the date and time of capture), FastStone is then compelled to work with date and time. Now usually I work with anywhere from 1000 to 3000 images and FastStone allows timestamping to add to the batch conversion. It also has this function to change hour date desired or specific to a time, however, this cannot be done in a batch, but rather on the image or the image and therefore is not very practical when working with thousands of images.

    So my question is if there is a way I can combine distortion barrel and timestamp (which uses capture data)? Thank you guys.

    Do two sequences, one without the stamp and corrected the lens distortion. The other with the timestamp and apply just cropping effect let numbers, overlay on a sequence. If it's the white numbers you might also add a key to Luna to clean.

    Hi Mike227,

    I couldn't find a way to immediately make the bat. I guess you need to mess with ActiveX to do. I found an msdn page that could help with this.

    Have you considered simply concatenating the name of the file and the time stamp with a path of the file and save the file when you create it, without inviting the user?

  • How to get the timestamp to install official application?

    Is it possible to get the runtime the timestamp to install official application or datetime?
    I not looking for third-party solutions or workaround, but just the bb: official package.

    It seems that it's not accessible, I looked at those:
    BB::application
    BB::Cascades:application
    BB::ApplicationInfo
    BB: PackageInfo

    And none has the information you're looking for.

    Of course, it is quite easy to do it yourself with QSettings:
    QSettings settings;
    If (! settings.contains ("installDate")) {}
    settings.setValue ("installDate", QDateTime::currentDateTime());)
    }

    Hi Harvey.

    This problem is limited to a specific program? You are able to uninstall other programs?

    We will analyze and identify the cause of the problem. Normally, this problem occurs when Windows Installer could not find the required components.

    Method 1:

    I suggest you run the Microsoft Fixit to try and Uninstall the software from the computer.

    Check out the link to launch the Fixit:

    Solve problems with programs that cannot be installed or uninstalled
    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall/

    a. click 'Accept'
    b. Select "Detect problems and apply the patches for me".
    c. Select "Uninstall".
    d. Select "Encyclopedia Britannica"
    e. Fixit will search for bad registry files and try to fix it.

    Method 2:

    If the problem persists, I suggest to perform the steps described in the article and check.

    Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
