  Double-click inside the border/edge to bring it back to the default view for Task Manager.

  Although by default, the taskbar is displayed on the bottom of the screen,
  It can be on any of the sides on what you prefer. To move any
  side to side, simply click an unused portion and drag
  where you want it. Don't forget to click inside it, not on the edge.
  by clicking on the edge and dragging will resize not move.

  If it does not move, it can be locked. In this case, right click on it
  and uncheck "Lock the taskbar", then try again.

  Moreover, with the screen monitors wide today, I prefer the taskbar
  on the left or the right of the screen. I think that allows a better
  use of real estate than have it at the bottom of screen.

  Are you sure that you copy the right values in the right places and that you didn't overwrite the old values, but add?   Now, I closed "Adobe Application Manager" and reopened "Photoshop" and again selected "updates... " on the Help menu.  The "Adobe Application Manager" opened again with just a window this time and the updates happened correctly.

  I was hoping a updates would be the "Adobe Application Manager", I don't think so.

  So, if I were you I would not select "Updates."... "in an Adobe application unless the " Adobe Application Manager " is closed until they fix IT...

  My servers each unfortunately tasks is therefore to my local application. In fact the behahaves all this as if I had 3 knots (which I do), but I do want my servers to run the job not my proxy.
