How to prevent from loading with the google images search results?

Since I updated to FireFox 18 I get images (thumbnails of Web pages) with the results of my research with Google. I thought it was a problem of google but I don't have the problem in Internet Explorer.
Please notify.

OK horribi,

go to the preferences of Firefox-> content and next to the selection "load images automatically" add an exception for the google site and block.

Let us know the result!

  • For the last month or two, images are not returned as they used to be, with the Google image search. I tried IE and it DOES not work as before!

With Firefox 10, I now get exactly 21 images (one page, not more), regardless of the query. I tried to disable all add-ons. Same results. I tried to erase the history. Same results. I also logged into my google account. Always the same results... a limited number of images is now returned for each query. Given that I get the "expected results" with IE (pages usually 10 or more), this seems to be a Firefox problem? What has changed? How can I get more results? Thank you.

    Found MY solution...

    • Right-click on the button 'options' to open it in a new tab.
    • Adjust search parameters.
    • 1. the value "never show instant results."
    • 2 increase the number of results to display.
    • Click on "Save" button.

    Everything done, back to normal.

  • Google image search results does not load Firefox

Firefox will not load the google search results. It will load the results page with thumbnails, etc., but if you click on one of them, just a spinning icon loading is displayed on the tab and it never loads.

    I tried:
Both registered in and out of google account,
Other areas of google are working without any problems (news, shopping, etc.).
Site works perfectly under Internet Explorer,
    Firefox running in safe mode,
Manually turn off all plugins and addons,
    Clear the cache and cookies,
Results of opening in a new tab just results in a blank page with web address, but it doesn't ever, load

  • The Google web search results 'not fair' in Firefox

I'm having a problem using Google search on the web (toolbar and directly from google.com) in Firefox. When I search a keyword, lets say a company name and you wait to make appear the company Web site, the results include videos, articles, news, etc. None of the main company Web site are included in search results. There is no problem with Google web search in IE or Chrome.

Here's a specific example: "Mozilla Firefox" in Google search you use Firefox there are some 31,600,000 results with the top 10 being random sites on Firefox browsers. When I search "Mozilla Firefox" in Google using IE, there are only some 130,000,000 (4 times more), with the best results being www.mozilla.org/and other Mozilla sites 'main '.

I ran all the patches malware/Antivirus software recommended, reinstalled Firefox, update of a few add-ons/plug-ins I have, and made sure that Google search parameters are exactly the same for all browsers. Nothing works.

Did anyone else encounter this problem or have a guess at what may be the cause of this? I have spent a few hours trying to fix it and am willing to give up Firefox, so far that is (was) my go to the browser.

Hello, google is tracking and customization of your search history even when you are not logged in - maybe you will have to remove or erase all cookies from Google.com and see if the results change...

  • How can I get rid of the google bar search and instead of showing the url I'm going too. So I can see if I have a https connection or not.

I'm under 32.0.3 firefox but now don't see my URL address anymore I went too. I want to see if it is secure or not linking, and sometimes I might want to cut and paste the URL in a message, etc.. Everything I have now is a google search bar or you can choose from aol or other search engines.
Thanks for any help. I've been a user of Firefox from the very first day, but if I can't resolve this I might have to bite the bullet and move on, I don't want to do.

    Can you post a screenshot?

  • Firefox 4.0 is having problems with checkboxes on gmail (do not recognize of when a conversation is selected); also has issues with the google maps search and facebook search.

The boxes on gmail are not recognized by firefox, when you click on a message box and tries to remove the browser indicates that no message was selected.

Looking for maps don't work at all.

Search in facebook results, but clicking on any result will not redirect to you.

Happens to me in Windows 7 and XP (3 different machines in total) and even executing FF in safe mode.

  • Google Image Search shows only one page of results, then the gray boxes

Since several months ago, google search for images watch gray boxes instead of the thumbnails after a random number of thumbnails correctly indicated.

I've seen several posts on the web and several suggestions, but none solved the problem for me (FF 20.0.1, Windows Vista and Windows 7).

Finally, I tracked down the source of the problem and found a workaround:

Looking at the traffic on my firewall (iptables nat) I found this during the loading of an image search result:
    192.168.168.159 - > 74.125.234.226 TLSv1 alert (level: Fatal, Description: unexpected Message)

So, I realized that since there is a time firefox uses https whenever we use google.

The solution is after loading the image (with the gray boxes) search result, just replace the https to http protocol in the browser's address bar. Which loads the remaining without problem images when you scroll to the bottom of the page.

IE does not have the problem because it does not have this redirect. If you load a 'good' search results in Internet Explorer, then replace http with https in the address bar, the same problem occurs in Internet Explorer.

(so, apologize for posting this here, because it's not really a matter of "firefox", but given that most people are complaining that it is, I though it would be a good place for the available information)

Thanks, but as I said, that is done the same if forced to https. I can boot to linux, and FF is the same, like chrome.

So it's not anything related to the cache, cookies, or plugins or even FF FF. It's probably something in the firewall. I just posted it here because other people have been blaming FF for this problem (it is more likely to be seen in FF, because it was google redirect to https for 14.0.1).

  • I need to print from firefox icon as I used, because some pages that I need to print do not load with the menu.

Since a recent automatic update, I was not able to print by clicking on the firefox tab icon. I have pages that I need to print, that do not load with the toolbar complete with the key of menu etc. I could always print by clicking on the icon, but no more. Help please.

you could try pressing and use 'ctrl' then 'P' on your keyboard
We also write 'ctrl + P', it's the printing system wide combination of shortcut keys.

Alternatively, you can try, right-click in the title bar (where your loading tabs) and selecting 'Menu Bar', which will show the menu bar (with file, editing, display, etc.) on the tabs allowing you to print from the submenu file

    hope that helps!

    See you soon

I looked everywere in my computer, but they are not found

I bet that you have selected the folder Adobe Bridge CC or CS6, and it would be in there under Program Files/Adobe/or Program Files (x 86) / Adobe /.

Move to... in the file Explorer apply only to records not the bridge program.

You open Bridge and Photo Downloader allows you to move pictures from your SD card in the deck (also called import)

How can I sync lightning with the iphone calendar? I saw online that I need to use a google calendar? I added google calendar as they described, but I have no idea where from here

To synchronize with the iPhone (also known as iCalendar) schedule you must use a calendar based on a cloud. If you already have the lightning, install the addon Google provider and Setup Google Calendar. If you have already done so, go to settings on your iPhone. In the e-mail box, Contacts and calendars, add your Google account and turn on the calendar. This will synchronize your Google Calendar with the iPhone.

my audio syestem of beats went when I choose windows 8, how can I return it with the full version? I have hp pavilion dv4 5110tx

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp59501-60000/sp59882.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

Then, download and reinstall the Chipset driver on the following link.

    Chipset Driver - Windows 8.

After reinstalling, restart the laptop and let Windows load completely.  Open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again before checking if the Beats Audio is now listed in the windows control panel.

    Kind regards
