How to provide values for the elements of type complex in XSD?

Hello

I use JDev 11.1.1.7.0 and Weblogic 10.3. I'm new on create XSD.

How to provide the value to 'Enter' in the case below? It is a complex type element with an attribute. When I test this on EM, I'm not able to enter the value in this "entry". Only the attribute is available for entering values.

I have a XSD which looks like:

Thank you very much.

Hi Harsha,

As you use the "tree" in the em console to test your service, it does not correctly recognize extensions/restrictions 'simpleContent '.

I suggest that you use the 'XML' view, but if the attribute is missing then you must add it manually to the. ( Ex: ) .

I suggest that allows you to test your service SOAP UI and it generates properly signed your application of xml syntax.

  • The default value for the elements of the page get ready when the session is disabled

    Hello

    I am facing this problem, do not know how to solve this problem. Basically, the default value 'elements' on the page don't prepare you when the session is disabled and I visit the page for the first time. So when I check the session for the first time, all page elements are null. But when I revisit the page, page elements sometimes gets.

    Don't know what I'm missing here... Someone has encountered this problem before?

    Thanks in advance! Kindly let me know if you need more clarification.

    Is there a way that the page element can be defined at the time the page is loaded for the first time?

    Yes. Create a "Page Rendering" PL/SQL process. That it is very early in the page rendering (i.e. "on charge ‑‑ after Header"). Set the value of the element of page here:

    BEGIN
      :P10_MY_ITEM := 15;
    END;

    Hi all

    I am trying to use this
    apex.submit({request:parRequest,set:{'P30_SELECTED_ROW_ID':parID},showWait:true});
    in order to assign a different value to P30_SELECTED_ROW_ID, and depending on demand, run the processes corresponding, but even if the beginning of the process correctly the value of the element sucks.

    I also try to call the apex.submit using a javascript function to check the parameters passed and the value of Thierry is correct and NON NULL .

    Thanks in advance for any help or suggestion.

    Hello

    article P1_SELECTED_ROW_ID is about to "view only".
    If you replace this 'hidden' and unprotected, it should work.

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] (How to set values for the attributes 1) to create a file and 2) committing to the database?

    Hallo,

    in my tables and forms (created from VO istances) there are some areas for which, insert and update, I calculate and set the value programmatically when a record is created or updated.

    In some cases, I put the necessary values using the 'CreateWithParams' in the workflow diagram...

    In some other ones, I associate an action, a bean, a created button drag-and - drop operation 'CreateWithParams' of the istance VO...

      public String cwpButton_action() {
        BindingContainer bindings = getBindings();
        OperationBinding operationBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding("CreateWithParams");
        // here I calculate and set the needed params
        // ...
        Object result = operationBinding.execute();
        if (!operationBinding.getErrors().isEmpty()) {
          return null;
        }
        return null;
      }

    And is ok if I can calculate the values for the attributes before a new record is created.

    But the approach that I have used to define the attributes (for new and updated records) whose value should be caluclated after the user has filled in the fields, before committing to the database?

    Thank you

    Federico

    Federico,

    Let me first tell you that our code is activity masking errors (the cache instead of working on them).

    1. If (! operationBinding.getErrors () .isEmpty ()) {}
    2. Returns a null value.
    3. }
    4. Returns a null value.

    This means that you do not check the errors at all. You must at least print a log with the error message, you receive, if you get one!

    To solve your problem, you override the method prepareForDML() of the entity or entities in question. You can calculate and set the necessary attributes until they get engaged in the doDML(). Do not use doDML() because it is too late in the life cycle.

  • default value for the element hidden and fill the query

    Hello.

    1.-) I got a page that contains 2 parts, lets say: (HTML text) master and a detail (editable tabular report)

    in my tabular form, I had a hidden element that must take the value of the main form. How can I do this?

    (- 2) I call you a form to another form, sending a couple of fields as a settings link. the second form is called as expected, but I need that records on the second form that correspond to the settings appear. How do I get there?

    Thank you

    (new to apex)

    Hello

    The value of the source of the item hidden in the Tablur form to return the value of the master shape. Fundamentally change the Data Source to the article Page and specify the name of the element under the element of value. One thing you should keep in mind that when the page is submitted that reflects the value of the target element.

    If you want the value to be changed immediately when the value is changed in the main form, and then you create a dynamic Action with javascript code to change the value.

    Your second query is not clear, can you please provide any additional information.

    Thank you

  • Different value for the element on the page on different areas on the same page?

    Hi all:

    I use APEX 4.0.6 and I have a page with 4 regions and each of the region shows a classic report which SQL is very similar to the other:

    for example

    For region 1, the SQL looks like select * from history where status = 'A ';
    For region 2, the SQL looks like select * from history where status = 'B ';.
    For region 3, the SQL looks like select * from history where status = 'C ';
    For region 4, SQL looks like select * from history where status = ';

    To optimize database performance, I like to create a page element called p_status_value on this page and using the syntax of following link for the SQL statement for all 4 regions:

    Select * from history where status =: p_status_value;

    However, I need this page element value is dynamically change for each region:

    For region 1, p_status_value = "A";
    For region 2, p_status_value = 'B ';.
    For region 3, p_status_value = 'C ';
    For region 4, p_status_value = ';

    Also, I need hide this element of the page on this page.

    Can someone show me how to do this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Then I would have 4 regions, with each region report, create a box item in each area, called PXX_REGION_VALUE and then your request is:

    select * from history where status = :PXX_status_value_X; (XX for page # and X for region #).. The database engine will crunch through the query and your dashboard will work fine..

  • How to assign values to the application points to leave on a table

    Hello

    I have a FORM on a table with two or three elements. How to assign values to the elements of the application with the values in the elements of form, every time the value of the element is entry, change or page is sent?

    I created a dynamic action to the region level with Event - change to run the suite of PL/SQL, I tried with 3 different ways in PL/SQL, as shown below, but it didn't work.

    BEGIN

    : APP_FY: =: P1_FY;

    END;

    BEGIN

    APEX_UTIL. SET_SESSION_STATE ('APP_FY', v ('P1_FY'));

    : APP_FY: =: P1_FY;

    END;

    BEGIN

    APEX_UTIL. SET_SESSION_STATE ('APP_FY', v: P1_FY);

    END;

    Then I created an action dynamic at the ITEM level with change event to run the suite of PL/SQL and tried with PL/SQL, as shown below, but it didn't work.

    I need to assign values to the elements of the request form as these elements of the application will be used in many other pages in the application. How to I get there?

    Thank you.

    If a dynamic action of PL/SQL execution, you must send your list of page elements in the parameter "Elements of Page to submit.

    See the section 'run pl/sql' for this post.

    If the page is submitted, the elements of the page will be automatically set to session state, and you can have a page process make the code you have.

  • How can I display the display value for an element of lov in another area

    My page has a few elements that allow the user to select specific criteria for their report.
    pn_person - select point based on lov. Lov shows the name of the person and returns the code of the person in pn_person

    When the user has made their choice, they press a button that the report is generated.

    I want to do is show the display value for one of the search fields in the title of the report (for example, person_name) region. I think to do that I need to create a (hidden) pn_person_name point, then I put & pn_person_name. as a region

    However, how can I get the value of pn_person in pn_person_name display?

    I thought that apex_item.text_from_lov, but don't know how to use it - what elements (types), the calculations / process I need to create...

    Caron:

    You can use javascript to set the value of 'pn_person_name' to display the LOV selection value.
    Set the form field HTML to the elements attributes for the element of selection as list page

    onchange=$s('PN_PERSON_NAME',this.options[this.selectedIndex].text)

  • How can you specify the default value for the undefined array elements

    According to aid LV, the tables have two default values, the normal default value and the default value for the undefined array elements.

    I assume that there must be a way to specify the default value for later, but I can't find it anywhere.  Any ideas?

    I know that you can drag the item out of the table container.  Change the default value on this scalar element.  Then drag the item in table tank.

    >
    How to assign values to the nested table and passes as a parameter for the procedure?
    >
    Well you do almost everything bad that could be hurt.

    Here is the code that works to insert data into your table (the procedure is not even necessary).

    declare
    p_sl_num NUMBER := 1001;
    p_description VARCHAR2(50) := 'Testing Val1';
    inval1 test_type1 := test_type1();
    inval2 test_type2 := test_type2();
    begin
    inval1.extend();
    inval1(1) := test_object1('testx1', 'testx2', 'testx3');
    inval2.extend();
    inval2(1) := test_object2('testy1', 'testy2', 'testy3');

    INSERT INTO test_object_tpe
    (
    sl_num,
    description,
    main_val1,
    main_val2
    )
    VALUES
    (p_sl_num, p_description, inval1, inval2);
    commit;
    end;
    /

    See example 5-15 making reference to an element of nested Table Chapter 5 using PL/SQL collections and records in the PL/SQL doc
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B28359_01/AppDev.111/b28370/Collections.htm#CJABEBEA

    1. you don't even have the procedure because it is a simple INSERTION in the table you can do directly (see my above code)

    inval1(1).val1 := 'testx1';

    Since you have not yet created all the elements, there is no element 1 "inval1". You need EXTEND the collection to add an element

    inval1.extend();

    And then, there is an empty element, but "inval1" is a container for objects of type 'test_object1' not for scalars as "val1", "val2", and "val3".
    If you can not do

    inval1(1).val1 := 'testx1';

    You must create an instance of 'test_object1 '.

    inval1(1) := test_object1('testx1', 'testx2', 'testx3');

    And so on for the other collection

    You don't need the procedure (as my code example shows), but once you fill in the variables correctly it will work.

  • How to add the default value for the "Full - Text Search" box

    Hi all

    I am looking for the ability to add a default value for the "Full text search" box in the search form.

    Example:

    When the user accesses the search page it get default values for some fields (defined in the rule as default values) such as

    xField1 = txt1 and xFiel2 = txt2.

    and Furthermore we need full-text = Hello world.

    Is this possible?

    Another way that we use is to open the search by URL with coreContentOnly = 1 as a form:

    http:// < Server >/cs/idcplg? IdcService = GET_DOC_PAGE & to Action = GetTemplatePage & to Page = STANDARD_QUERY_PAGE & coreContentOnly = 1 & to xField1 = txt1 & to xFiel2 = txt2

    It is possible to add full-text criteria here? Somethig like: & text = Hello World

    Thank you

    Leon

    It is not possible in a very obvious way, not to mention that it is a rather strange request.  I can't really imagine a realistic use for this case.

    Anyway, without a messy customization, you should provide a default query with an FTX inside element text setting (i.e. "IdcService = GET_DOC_PAGE & Action = GetTemplatePage & Page = STANDARD_QUERY_PAGE & QueryText =Hello World" "")

    To do this in a profile in the secondary effects of the profile section, add the following:

    <$dpPromote("QueryText",>Hello everyone") $>.

  • How to assign a value of the element from page to main page in the column element when Cre

    I have a form build on table T1. The T1 has a primary key defined (T1PK) and four other columns (C1 - C4). I have a form in this table. This form accepts the values of C1 to C4 and displayis an extra point, is not based on columns of T1 - P1_DUMMY. The form for T1PK element has the value "hidden and protected.
    When creating the form, I wanted that the value of the primary key (T1PK) will be obtained through existing trigger. I want to use the value stored in the page called "P1_DUMMY" for P1_T1PK.

    No matter what I do, I always get this error when I hit the button 'CREATE' on the page of the form:

    ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ('DEV'. "" T1 ". ("' T1PK")

    The Create button is a condition not to show if the the P1_T1PK page element is NULL. I created page rendering process, the process of transformation of page like this bock of PL/SQL:

    : P1_T1PK: =: P1_DUMMY

    But I still get ORA-01400. The form has the P1_DUMMY as display only, not not to store the State, so I can see that the P1_DUMMY element has the value I want (2).

    How to assign the value stored in P1_DUMMY in P1_T1PK when I click on the button CREATE on this form?

    Thank you for your time.

    Daniel

    Hello
    The belief question is the way in which the calculation is being defined. You are not using the &. rating (dot ampersand) in PL/SQL and SQL.

    Try this.

    1 define the calculation on P1_T1PK of Type calculation of value of the element
    2. on the next page to load textarea, enter P1_DUMMY. No. colon or &
    3. give appropriate conditions

    Kind regards

  • Type a table defined clusters to hold configuration data - definition of default values for each element of the array

    Hello

    I was wondering if I could get some information and opinions on the use of an array of type defined clusters to store configuration data.  I am creating a program to test several EHR and wanted to have a control of type defined for each HAD with the information needed to create the DAQmx tasks for all signals for it must HAVE.  I am eager to do so that the data are encoded in hard and not in a file that the user might spoil.

    Controls of type def are then put into a Subvi who chooses as appropriate, one based on the enumeration of Type DUT connected to a case structure.

    I have problems with the control of the defined type.  I see issues when you try to save a configuration unique to each element of the array in the array of clusters.  Somehow, it worked at first, but now by clicking on "Operations on the data--> default font of the current value ' on individual elements of the cluster or the entire cluster (array element) does not save data when I re - open the command def.  What I am doing wrong?  I'm trying to do something with the berries of the clusters that I shouldn't do?

    I enclose one of the defined reference type controls.  I tried to change it bare to see if that helped, but no luck.

    To reproduce, change the resource string for the element 0 of the array and do the new value by default.  Then close the def of type, and then reopen it.  The old value is always present in this element.  The VI is saved in LabVIEW 2012.

    The values of a typedef are not proprigated to the instances of the control. They get if created WHEN data values have changed. They will be not updated with the changes to come. You must create a VI specifically to hardcode your values or to implement a file based initialization. The base file would be much better and more flexible. If you don't want users to change the data simply encryption. There is a wedding blowfish library that you can download.
