Thank you for using the FMS 4.5.
I assume you are using a developer edition (trail), FMS. It has restriction of 10 minutes for HDS streaming, after which, the journal exceeded disk Quota would come to the top. You must upgrade to the other flavors use HDS full-time.
I was trying to play http live streaming in osmf player but he said "Error #1009: cannot access a property or method of a null object reference." I think I have to make some changes in the code of OSMF player playing live as VOD plays very well. Can anyone point me in that direction?

Amit, if your asset has worked in the Flash Media Playback configuration tool (after configuration "Are you using HTTP Streaming or Flash Access 2.0?" to 'Yes')-then the asset even should simply work in OSMFPlayer if you compile correctly the player and the OSMF 10.1 lib.

I'm working on an online radio application and I am very disappointed to see that the BB 10.1 Simulator (10.1.0.1483) does not support the HTTP live streaming of multimedia files (MP3) M3U.
I get the following message in the log of the device:
and also when you try to navigate to the URL in the browser of the Simulator:
The media file is from and not supported type or could not be loaded. It can not be played.
I would like to know if the BB 10.2 Simulator supports HTTP live streaming of MP3 files, or do I have to buy a real device?

My apologies for the late reply. Unfortunately, for the OS versions on the market to date, support for media playback on the Simulator is very limited. This is mainly due to problems of codecs required license. There is a support very limited no playback video and audio (uncompressed audio files in the WAV only). In later versions of OS Simulator, we might have the software decoding - if that happens, your use case would be satisfied then.

We have installed FMS 4.5, including Apache 2.2 on a server of Windows 2008 R2 64-bit according to the instructions provided in the video which can be seen here:
Accessing the test page for the server works fine for HTTP Dynamic Streaming and RTMP Dynamic Streaming samples. However, when we try to use HTTP Live streaming of the samples on the test on an iPad via AnyConnect web page, we see only a blank page with a small icon of Abobe Flash in the upper left corner which is basically saying that the Flash has been detected on the page and is not supported by the iPad.
The video above shows HLS working on an iPad with no additional installation steps. Can you hep?

I tried to put "Happy HLSEncryptionScope" in the httpd.conf file and placed jit.conf in... vod/webroot/but not successful, the m3u8 generate no contains EXT-X-KEY.
My jit.conf is placed wrongly?
and I tried and nothing in the plugin access log file while I http stream a m3u8 file, is possible to connect to HTTP Live Streaming, using plug-in? can the plugin you have any event raised by http streaming?

In the event that you have configured, HLSEncryptionScope content (and without comment it) under , you can configure the settings under jit.conf. jit.conf encryption must be placed as well as the content file. So, in the case where if your content file is placed under... / webroot/vod... JIT.conf must be in... / webroot/vod... In case your content file is for example inside... / Webroot/VOD/myhlsFile... JIT.conf must also be there...
Make sure now that,.
1. in jit.conf, you mentioned correctly the uri path and the keys to the key file. Don't forget the two needs to be mentioned in the jit.conf
2. make sure that jit.conf is a valid xml code (to avoid the mistakes of edition). Opened in any web browser to validate.
3. make sure that the key file is generated using tool scramble under \tools\scramble
4. at the origin for the criterion of the test object with a uri with the http protocol key. If things run successfully, then try with https

I am currently working on an application webstream Dynamics where several people can start their own stream. They connect to our custom AMS Application (lets say "camchat").
Now, I want to publish the flow of mobile loans as well as for each stream. I had this works while Streaming on the OUT directly to the 'livepkgr' Application, but not to my own "camchat.
I'm not sure, how do I have to get my custom application ("camchat") published ready streams of HLS as well?
Is that possible or I always use the default "livepkgr" app? If so, what is necessary to combine my application to provide water on the application of livepkgr courses.

So finally I managed to do the work by myself, but I want to spread the 'solution' because as I said there is not a lot of topics about this special needs. So maybe it will help someone else:
1. my main.asc was indeed correct:
application.onPublish = function (client, streamObj)
2. the server side I had to remove my generated previous to Liveevent records. However, after the removal of these materials, the flow worked as expected.
3. I think that the problem is that my custom application does not care about the cancellation of liveevent livepkgr as it should. So I'm going to come and some do not clean ups and take care of the correct publication cancelled.
4. also, I have to set up a way to give names of single stream - maybe this will help so instead of using the same eventname all the time during the test. Never the less, thanks to Joseph for your help!

I have set up a live video feed that works very well. Server-side, we use the Flash Media Live Encoder, Flash Media Server streaming. On the server, we checked the box to add a 'Timecode' for video and set it to simply incorporate the time system.
Client-side I have a SWF file using the FLVPlayback component. I can't figure out how to get the value of time code on the client. 'totalTime' returns NaN and 'playheadTime' returns the number of seconds from the connected client. I need to get the time system/temporal being incorporated on the server.

I am trying to install Flash Media Server (Streaming Server) and I have problems with the release of HTTP stream.
The system works very well with the ooutput Flash, but for some reason that the livepkgr will not work. Tried many things over the past two weeks, I went through the docs and I do not know anymopre what I can try... The source of the video stream is upstreamed to my own computer at home, via Flash Live Encoder.
, I run a dedicated server, that is running Windows Server 2008. The default web site is IIS. I have configured the ports so that port 80 is the default IIS inetpub/webroot, and installation of FMS 4.5 is accessible via port 8134. If the IPhttp://184.107.48.113opens by default Windows IIS, andhttp://184.107.48.113:8134takes the request of the FMS install.
The video stream is online on the Flash server, I can see it in the console, the livepkgr seems to work, and I see the. STREAM file that is generated in the folder livebroadcast/_definst_/livestream. If the server is running and the outputs of the process the HTTP.

1. stop the publication.
2. go to the FMS applications folder and delete all uder applications/livepkgr/water courses and also delete the *.stream file.
3. now restart the publication.
4. create crossdomain.xml with the content below and place this xml code in your webroot.
