    The iPad does not support USB keys. There are some wireless flash drives that can be used, but not the classical records. I suggest you transfer files to a computer and their synchronization then back to the iPad via iTunes.

  • Reading of .bkf files on xp pro with windows vista or windows 7.

    It comes to clarify my previous post. How can I open the files in .bkf created with xp pro backup tool with my windows vista machine? I have similar problems with windows 7 to use these saved files with my new computer?

    Here is a free software that opens and retrieves the BKF files (and repairs corrupt files): .  Once loaded, you'll be able to read BKF files using the program (and repair those that are corrupt).  This program is compatible with Vista (according to information posted on the site).  If it installs like normal programs, it creates an association between itself and the BKF files so you won't have to go through the process every time that you want to open/recover a BKF file (if it doesn't, go to Start/Default / programs / associate a file or Protocol with a program / and find the BKF files and changing the association to the program (if it isn't already there).)  You may need to search for the executable file of the program manually make the association (but I doubt it).

    Here is another option that may better suit your needs (I'm not sure what you have in mind): .  The same notes on file associations apply to this program (although I would not install both of them at the same time to avoid a situation of conflict of associations - although the more likely scenario is that the last installed program will be the one with the association).

    I don't know how these files (or others) will work with Windows7 - please post this question in the Forums Windows7: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/windows7 where people who specialize in issues of Windows7 will be more than happy to help you with your question.

    I hope this helps.

    of course, it's another format darn owner, so you will need a copy of Windows media player for mac.  (or VLC) there is a way to convert, however, but I suspect it will not free

  • How to read strings from a file data?

    Hello

    I have a little. CSV files, which were inside the trees channels (load force, opening force, distance) captured from both engines.

    I want to load multiple CSV files and analyze only two strings (opening force and distance of travel) and send them to a report (go the distance on the x-axis and opening force to the y-axis), but in this report as all channels of all CSV files I have loaded. (make a multiple load)

    My question is how can I read csv files the channels I'm interested and then analyze?

    I use this example to HELP to load the data:

    Dim MyFileNames, iCount
    Call FileNameGet ("ANY", "FileRead", "D:\BOF-MIU\BOF Dim", "data CSV (*.)") "CSV), *.csv", "All.lst", True, "data selection".
    MyFileNames = Split (FileDlgFileName, "|")
    ICount = 0 to Ubound (MyFileNames)
    Call DataFileLoad (MyFileNames (iCount))
    Next

    "and then I try to analyze, but I don't know how to divide the csv file to get only the channels I want."

    Call ChnSmooth ("filedlgfile &" [1] / axis 1: Position (uu) "," / smoothed ', 12, "maxNumber" "...) Y, E, SmoothWidth, SmoothType

    Thank you for your time.

    HI Maria,

    Here is the approach to file dialog you asked--use it instead of the "FilePaths = GetNaviSelFiles()' in the command script I sent you:

    DlgTitle = "insert a file dialog title here...". »

    StartPath = ProgramDrv & "Libr\Dat\".

    FileExts = ' *.» DAT; *. TDM.

    Call FileNameGet ("All", "FileRead", StartPath, FileExts, "No", True, DlgTitle)

    FilePaths = Split ("|" & FileDlgFileName, "|")

    The trick in the TDR file I sent you was set up for mode "exanding" in the "Page layout settings" dialog box  It is an old display option that can cause problems if used in bad situations, but it seemed that it would make your life easier for this particular task.

    If you have VI Analyzer installed, you can load the configuration file and look at the section select the Tests. There is a test for the maximum size of front under front-> User Interface. The default value is the resolution of the current monitor of the PC (including multiple monitors). You can change to the desired option.

  • How to read the txt file that has words in between?

    Hi all

    I'm using Labview 8.2.

    I would like to read a text file.  I have given (after whenever he was on average more than 100 waveforms) several times recorded on the file.  The idea is to further improve the SNR in post processing by averaging once again the data (which was on average about 100 wave forms).

    I can get LabView to save the data in the file several times, then it keeps joins.

    The problem is to read data from labview, so I can on average now again.  The problem is the labview separates data sets with the following:

    "Channel 1".
    9925 samples
    Date 28/10/2008
    Time 17:16:11.638363
    X_Dimension time
    X 0 - 3.0125000000000013E - 3
    Delta_X 2.500000E - 6
    "End_of_Header."

    Then when I read it, he sees only the first set of data.

    Can someone tell me please how to read all the datasets under labview?

    I am attaching the file I want to read 'acquiredwaveform.txt' and the VI base (really basic btw) to play the file.

    Thank you

    This seems to be a standard LVM-file.  You can read segments of different data using the VI Express LVM loop (make sure that the file retains its extension .lvm).  I modified your example to show this.

    Note that my example is quite inefficient. Table of primitive construction causes a massive memory copy whenever it is used, and you would be probably better on average that you read in.  I made this way to make it more obvious how read segments of a file LVM.  In the process, I noticed that you have a good amount of phase jitter (zoom in on the graph of all the three waveforms).  With an average simple will make you smear on your waveforms.  You can either fix the problem in hardware (recommended) or phase shift your data so it lines up before on average.  If you need help with it, let us know.

  • How to read a selected part of a large ascii file (~ 200 MB)?

    I have several large ascii files I need to read in.  These files are part of a standard test for an application that I wrote. How well my application parses files determines how the program accomplishes its main task. For a real test, the application captures live data in the form of a 2D double table and analyzes the data of this form.  This table is long of 3 million items (1 ms/s @ 3s).  I usually never treat any form of ascii file because all data is stored as TDMS using this method (though I need to update this link with a few critical changes). (Thank you again Ben)

    Ascii files I have to read all have two rows of data from the header, followed a ~ 8 million lines of data representing the data I capture in general.  Each line contains point data and a value of accumulated time.  I need to load each file separately, analyze the data within, and communicate the results.  The part that I need help for loading of the file.  So far, I was able to load a file without memory problems.  A stay is similar to a real test, I need actually only 3 million lines for analysis.  But I have to be able to select the 3 million lines by time values in the file.  Technically, I only need the single column of data and the frequency of sampling, represented by time values.

    How can I select a specific section of an ascii file and read them in LabVIEW as a double 2D array?  Which is possible for 3 million points of data without crippling the system using all the memory just to accomplish this task?  An alternative version of 'last resort' would be to run a separate program to create a file DDHN that I could then read and go from there.  But I prefer to read the file directly to my request.

    I'm running on an HP EliteBook 8540w with Win 7 Enterprise (64-bit), i7 CPU bicoeur (2.67 GHz) with 8 GB of RAM and 32-bit LV2011.

    Thank you

    Scott
