How to recover my editing functions, copy and paste, without doing a restore?

When I switched to Firefox 4 I have more the file, edit, etc. anywhere features. I can not or do not know how to copy and paste websites to emails for example without editing functions.

Looks like you have the hidden menu bar.
If the Firefox (orange - top left corner) button is visible - click it and go to options and check menu bar.

  • Copy and paste Illustrator does not erase the Clipboard

    I am running OSX Yosemite and the latest version of Illustrator.

    I have a file that has multiple plans of work and symbols.

    When I copy text and paste in another space reserved for text, it sticks the text previously copied to the Clipboard. So, first copy and paste works fine, but every time after that include a lot of text from previous attempts to block. Looks like, Illustrator is not clear the Clipboard when copying text in there.

    Also, stick to the text of a TextEdit in Mac doesn't seem to work.

    This looks a lot like a bug and really slows me down. Is there some sort of parameters to the Clipboard, or other ways to get rid of this feature?

    If none of the brighter solutions appear, try the list.

    The following is a general list of things you can try when the question is not in a specific file (you tried/made some of them already). 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

    If possible / there is, you must record a current work first, of course.

    (1) close Illy and open again.

    (2) restart the computer (you can make up at least 5 times);

    (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

    4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);

    5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

    Even worse, you can:

    (6) uninstall, run the vacuum cleaner tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and then reinstall.

    You cannot move a Table object directly, but simply move the character that contains the table. An important property of any table is .storyOffset, which is actually a PointInsertion.

  • Cannot add gradient to the sphere of shape and can not copy and paste into Photoshop?

    I just want to add a gradient to the circles of my calendar.  Still the same window appears saying that it is not directly editable. Any reason why the step does not work? Another concern is that forms don't simply copy a paste in photoshop as they usually do in other adobe software, it feels like a layer must be included to add or delete anything. How can I do the whole copy and paste in photoshop easier for me that I am new to it?  Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

    I'll tell you that in your screen you sent, please check it's going up in the Finder menu bar.

    Click on Go-> Go to folder

    Type ~/library

    Click OK

    Inside the library folder, you will find a folder with name preferences.

    Open this folder

    Inside this folder, you'll find another folder named Photoshop CC 2015 parameters

    Rename this folder in 2015 CC Photoshop settings_old.

    Open Photoshop and try again.

    I'm pretty new to this design thing and I am running CS3.

    Basically, I'm trying to copy and paste from a doc on a new photoshop to create textured prints.

    I was able to do it once, and with the notes that I took, I can't figure out on my own.

    Whenever I have paste my selection since the first doc to the next, there is a white border around my selection who shouldn't be there.

    I'm missing a step between flattening and the unlocking of a layer in the first doc the next doc.

    Here's a screen shot that will probably explain this better than I. Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

    The doc on the extreme left is the only one that I can not understand how to change in a way where I can copy and paste without having this white border around my selection in the new.

    In the Middle, one has been done correctly, I just can't figure out what step I'm missing.

    Hello!  Is one simple way to accomplish what you want to use a blending mode multiply.  For example, in the document right in your screenshot with red background, you can select Layer 1, the model with the white border and change the normal to multiply in the Modes of mixing down blending Mode.  See the screenshots below.

    A layer set on multiply darkens only the lower layers, so the white border copied with the texture wouldn't appear on a red background.  You can learn more about the blend mode multiply here: http://www.photoshopessentials.com/photo-editing/layer-blend-modes/multiply/

  • cannot copy and paste in windows 7

    I can't copy and paste to and from three different applications since the upgrade of Windows Vista 64 - Bit of Windows 7 (64-bit).  These features have worked in applications before the upgrade.  These applications are all WYSIWYG web design programs.  These programs are 1.0 Version of NVU, Kompozer (4 different versions) and Amaya Version 11.3.1. None of the functions work copy and paste in these programs in the normal start to fashion, but all copy and paste functions work properly in these programs when the computer is started in Mode safe mode with network support. I have five different word-processing programs on the computer and I can freely copy and paste without ANY problem between these programs.  I can also copy and paste files into the Windows folder without any problem. However, I can't copy or paste to or from applications of word processing in the three programs that presenting a malfunction.  Can't copy programs with a malfunction in one of the word processors.  Word-processing programs include Wordperfect X 4, Microsoft Word 2000, Microsoft Works 9.0, Windows 7 Notepad and Wordpad in Windows 7.  I disabled the anti virus program and its firewall.  The Windows Firewall is disabled. I run to my firewall and virus CA Security Suite 10.  I also tried to go through all three of the defective programs in each Windows of Windows 98SE Windows Vista SP2 Compatibility Mode.  I called HP Tech support and they had me to remove the following file in the Windows registry:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\appinit_dlls.

    Then, they had me look for a file (plow... or something similar) which is not found in the Windows\System 32 folder.  When this file is not found in the System 32 directory, I am told that I had a problem with MALICIOUS software.  After getting off the phone with them I did a full scan using Windows Defender and it did not find any problem.  After completing the analysis Windows Defender, I ran a full scan of the computer using the program CA Security Suite Virus Scan and it did not find any problem.  It makes no sense to me that copy and paste in these applications will work in Mode safe mode but not in Normal Mode.  As a digression, WordPerfect X 4 caused an error Code 38 when I tried to open it in Mode safe (it works fine in normal mode).

    Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

    Also on the menu of the Firefox button, the Edit option is there. 3 after the word 'Edit' icon will be "not gray" if something is highlighted on the page, or something already exists on the Clipboard. The "arrow" to the right of the Edit will give you the options of text instead of icons.

    If you did a copy and paste, the original files are left intact when they came.  If you did a cut and paste, they are lost if you do not paste them and your paperweight (the location of storage to copy or cut and paste) was allowed.  It would be cleared if you did quite exemplary or cuts too fill it, or if you rebooted.

    Generally, you use the mouse to select text, first of all, as you would in any other application. (To select the entire contents of a page, you can press Ctrl + a, but which would include an extra material of the headers and footer sidebars, so probably not useful on a ticket of a blog.)

    Once you have selected what you want to copy, and then copy it by using one of these common methods of Windows:

    CTRL + c

    Right click > copy

    Edit > copy

    To paste into your email, once you have clicked where you want in the message, the same approach should work in most Windows programs:

    CTRL + v

    Right click > paste

    Edit menu > paste

    (Some programs may also have an icon on the toolbar to paste.)

    Now... some potential problems.

    First of all, when you select a web page, highlighting that indicates the selection can pull in sidebars or can jump a few images, etc. It all depends on how the web page was built. It might take a couple of copy and paste to isolate only the part that you care without picking up a bunch of junk.

    Second, web pages can include scripts and plugin content like Flash animations that are not allowed by some e-mail programs. For example, in Microsoft Outlook, these elements can generate a security warning. Then you have to work around those if you see in your selection.

    Finally, some people have added a script to their page that appears when you right-click and notifies you that it is copyrighted. In this case, use one of the other methods for copy.

    I know the c control and control functions v for copy and paste with Excel and Word. How do cut you, copy, and move entire folders when you are working in Windows 10? 2 tapping fingers at the same time used to work in point 8.1 of Windows but does not work in Windows 10. I want to move my documents together and download files from my drive c on a memory stick that I have only 32 GB SSD in my book and it is fill up very quickly. I don't want to lose days copy individual files and sticking them in the memory stick. That would be a common mistake. I don't understand why HP had to remove the left and right buttons and make life very difficult for its customers. They probably saved a couple of hundred by getting rid of the buttons in their calculation of costs, but made it impossible for customers to use the laptop in a productive way.

    Have you tried pressing the right and left of the touchpad corners? Most of the models without physical buttons have this function.

    When you long press on a Word, a blue tint will appear with two points at each end. These points can be moved to highlight the text you want to copy. Then press the highlighted text and see the answer of stenb above for more information

    Check with the manufacturer of system support, documentation in line, or forums as there probably
    are shortcut keys that enable and disable the touchpad functions.

    Toshiba has also map of keys which allow easy adjustment of the TouchPad. See support for Toshiba
    and Forums. The key shortcut for the TouchPad, if they are responsible in the Fn + F9 or see the key card
    So usually loaded at the top of the screen.

    There is also usually a TouchPad control utility that loads in the Notification area next to the clock
    at the bottom right.
