  This function no longer exists in LR as Adobe says that it was originally people loose photos, accidentally I think, so it must be done manually. To be honest I never used no deletion automatic, I want to import and check all is well before any withdrawals!

  With my LG, I used a memory card and move the photos to the card.  The device must be queued for mass storage until you will see the folders using the usb cable.  If you use a memory card, don't forget that it snaps into place.  Otherwise you will never see the folders if is not installed correctly.

  You can not that's not how works iCloud photo library - it is not a conduit but a total synchronization service whose entire raison d'etre is to keep libraries connected identical - all changes made on any device (addition, deletion or modification) are made on all devices.
