  I have Windows 7 32-bit last month.  I installed the demo of HAWX and he ran a program compatibility Wizard after installation.  He showed that DirectX 10 has been installed.  When I run DXDiag, I also show DirectX 11.  Now, I have installed DirectX 9 .0c on this machine.  Then you can try to install it and see if that makes a difference.

  It is not technically 'necessary' you 'save' something for the guarantee as long as you have some sort of proof of purchase.

  I noticed that Canon only seems to have choices for registration for their largest components (camera body... leneses... etc) but not minor components.

  Maybe it's that you have a SnapFish account. Many longtime HP customers have accounts of SnapFish and don't realize it. One of the printer software frees customers signed up automatically, and most people did not know, or forgot, because they never used it. Try to go to SnapFish and using the forgotten password screen link it connection. Once you have reset the password, go to ePrintCenter and use the SnapFish log in information to connect. If this does not help, you may need to contact SnapFish directly to delete the account, or use a different email to record with. Another difficulty that I have met is actually recreate a SnapFish account, if SnapFish says no accounts exist, or no email comes, when you try to reset your password.

  When you try to open an account on ePrintCenter, you will be prompted for and e-mail address and then another empty box should appear below to confirm this e-mail address. Once you have typed the same email address in both boxes, you should have a green check mark appears to the right of the boxes. The same process should apply both the password.

  I'm not familiar with the Dutch version of the registration page, but if you understand English well enough, you can try to change the language/country options at the bottom of the page in English/USA and see if that helps you with successful opening an account.
