  As long as you are talking about "desktop" vs Metro/modern apps, you can rename them in the Start Menu:

  (1) tile right click / Start ads Menu

  (2) location open file

  (3) in the Explorer window that appears, note the path of the file - this is where your Start Menu shortcuts are (so you can rename other programs more easily while you're there)

  (4) change the name of the shortcut

  The new name should appear in the Start Menu in a few seconds once it is reindexed your change.

  I was wondering if someone uses the correspondence Management Solution Accelerator and renamed their request for 'j' to something else.  For example, instead of the url http://< Server >: < port > /j /... it would be http://< Server >: < port > /NomMonProjet /...

  I noticed that in the flexConfig that is loaded into the two CreateCorrespondence and app ManageTemplate that the pscmContext is set to 'j', so this must change as well.  Can someone point me in the right direction to change this?  Also, are there any other files that may be needed to make it happen and does not break the apps?

  However, I would say that it is only partially possible, because there are a couple of components that rely on 'j' as the root of the URL context, and therefore would not work if you change it.

  This is the Bootstrapper LCM Plugin (which is used to initiate the WMSC of LCM plugin) and ImportUtility (which allows to import an ACP exported on a target system). But perhaps you can live with that.

  To have the "MIDlet-Name" of the renowned JAD property, you will need to rename the project. Output file names can be changed via the BlackBerry_App_Descriptor.xml > Build (tab) > name of the output file (field).

  What you can do is really easy.
  (1) start Essbase in interactive mode
  (2) to the window of the agent (essbase process), run the DUMP that export the dry file in an ascii file.
  (3) in this file, you will find a section "locked objects."

  Then, ESSCMD, you can run the unlockobject command to release the locks.
  If Essbase is unable to remove the lock because the file is not present (deleted, etc.), you can create a new file with the same name before 'Retry '.

  What is your device? You cannot delete certain built-in apps (which they how earn money), for other applications, normally use can try:

  • Tap Settings,
  • Touch applications
  • Touch the app you wish to uninstall
  • Touch uninstall

  Still, you can't uninstall a lot of apps.
