    4 I found this property: (position) horizontalFieldManager.setHorizontalScroll; that contains the parameterioo where the post is supposed to be the new horizontal scroll position. I tried passing the coordinate x of horizontal field Manager, but it does not work. I should pass as a parameter position?

    HorizontalFieldManager container = new HorizontalFieldManager()
    {
        protected void sublayout(int maxWidth, int maxHeight)
        {
            Field field = null;

                field = getField(i);
                layoutChild(field, maxWidth, maxHeight);
                setPositionChild(field, x,y);
                x+=field.getWidth();
                if(i==0)
                {
                    maxFieldHeight = field.getHeight(); // height set of the first button since all components have the same height
                }
            }

            setExtent(Display.getWidth(), maxFieldHeight);

        }
    };

    ButtonField button1 = new ButtonField("Button1");

    ButtonField button3 = new ButtonField("Button3");
    ButtonField button4 = new ButtonField("Button4");

    container.add(button1);
    container.add(button2);
    container.add(button3);
    container.add(button4);

    Need your valuable comments and suggestions. Please help me.

    I think that there is a bug in the sublayout (your HorizontalFieldManager 0 mode.  Given that the code did what I think WHAT HFM will do anyway, I recommend that you try to do this with a standard HFM, using this style:

    Manager.HORIZONTAL_SCROLL | Manager.HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR

    Let us know how you go.

    When I have more time I'll explain the bug, but if you want to investigate something, be aware that the maximum size that you can use in setExtent are the values that are passed to sublayout.  Compare the width as you try to define in setExtent whose width is increased.

  • SceneBuilder - how to anchor a TextArea in a scroll pane

    TextArea will not take on the size of the Scrollpane parent in Scenebuilder.

    Cannot find how to define it, no option anchor.

    This also applies to: HTMLEditor and the text box.

    TextArea comes with it's own scrollbars even when; It is not clear why you would need to put the text box in a scroll pane at all.

    In general, you can set the properties fitToHeight and fitToWidth on the ScrollPane; they will try to size height and width, respectively, of the content to the corresponding dimension of the scroll pane. You will find under "Available" when you select the ScrollPane.

    all components are related to the export for actionscript (unless cancel you that) which means that they download, whether or not they are used in a swf file.

  • How to set the text to reveal and to scroll through the center of the screen?

    I need text "appear from nowhere" in the center of the screen, revealing a letter at a time as it scrolls by one-way or the other. NO scrolling on the screen.  I know how key framework to make the scroll, but do not know how to set up a mask (I guess) to hide the text until it moves beyond the Center. Please do not answer simply to use a mask, I get it!  I need to know how to implement that?  I can't find anywhere a tutorial that explains this.

    There are many ways to do it, one way:

    Set up and keyframe your type, and when you get to behave the way you want to, select the type of clip on the timeline and go to the menu Clip > nest.

    Click OK.

    Now, click the nested in the Assembly and in the effect controls panel, spin open opacity control and define a mask (it will probably interverti switched on) to hide the part of movable type you don't want.

    If you go back to the original item to make adjustments, double-click on the nested element.

  • How to set the parameters of width image scroller

    I followed a tutorial on how to build an image thumb wheel. In this tutorial the scrolling of the image extends from one side of the stage to the other, i.e. flash to the edge. I want to shorten in width, as 50 pixels or the other side of the stage. How to set these parameters? What would be a line of code to cut where I want? Here's what I have for the construction of the wheel:

    /////Build Scroller MovieClip to Contain Each Image
    var scroller:MovieClip = new MovieClip();
    var padding:Number = 10;//creating a var for padding to be used later on in easier calculations

    this.addChild(scroller);
    scroller.y = 600;
    scroller.x = padding;

    (I tried scroller.x - but he only positioned the scrolling differently on the stage. Once it scrolls on mouse over it yet completely jumps to the left, and in any case it doesn't take care of the right edge)

    Chances are that you only need to add a mask for the scroller object.  Create a rectangle that is as wide as you want the thumbs on the stage that it becomes a movieclip/sprite and assign it an instance name.  Then assign it just like a mask for scrolling using the: scroller.mask = masksInstanceName;

    You may need to adjust the code of a scroller for use limits of the mask instead of the scene if it currently specifies limits for scrolling.

  • How to scroll by using the mouse wheel on a parent scroll pane

    Hi guys,.
    Imagine a table. In each cell of the table represents a component of a get. All aspects of ahmed are configured so that the scroll bar is visible only when it is necessary.
    Then, ALL cells contain scroll shutters, but only a few of them actually show a scroll bar.
    The entire table (which is very large) is also in a global scroll pane and is drop-down.

    My problem:
    I want to use the mouse wheel to scroll on the entire table. Because the table contains all its cells do scroll panes, the inner scrollpanes takes very quickly focus and global scrolling stops immediately.
    How can I force the weel mouse seize ONLY on the overall scroll pane? So basically not to transfer events to its internal components?

    I tried to disable the mouse wheel on all aspects of internal scroll:
    xxx.setWheelScrollingEnabled(false);
    ... but it doesn't.
    Any idea?

    So basically not to transfer events to its internal components?

    You must manually transfer the events to the external component to scroll.

    Using the concepts presented in [url http://tips4java.wordpress.com/2009/08/30/global-event-listeners/] Global event listeners, you can do something like:

    import java.awt.*;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    import javax.swing.*;

    public class ScrollSSCCE extends JPanel
    {
         public ScrollSSCCE()
         {
              setLayout( new BorderLayout() );

              Box tables = Box.createVerticalBox();
              final JScrollPane scrollPane = new JScrollPane( tables );
              add( scrollPane );

              for (int i = 0; i < 5; i++)
              {
                   JTable table = new JTable(20, 4);
                   JScrollPane sp = new JScrollPane( table );
                   sp.setPreferredSize( new Dimension(300, 200) );
                   sp.setWheelScrollingEnabled( false );
                   tables.add( sp );
              }

              long eventMask = AWTEvent.MOUSE_WHEEL_EVENT_MASK;

              Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().addAWTEventListener( new AWTEventListener()

                      if (source != scrollPane

  • scroll pane cannot align its content

    When a node (Group for example) is added in a scrolling pane, the scroll pane automatically align the node to the left upper corner of the content area of the scroll pane. How can I customize the alignment of the node (Middle center for example) in the scroll pane. When the size of the node is scaling greater than the size of the pane to scroll bar scroll the scroll pane is displayed and if the node size is shrinking, and there the size becomes smaller that the scroll pane is then the node is aligned on the Community Center. It seems do not take effect if I replace layoutChildren method of the scroll pane and set layoutX and one property of the node.
    If anyone can give me some clue?
    Thank you

    ScrollPanes are a bit tricky to use. They line up not happy, you must use layout managers to do or you need to provision yourself with shapes in groups using absolute coordinates or translations. ScrollPane sets there own viewport associated coordinated and you need to provision your content in this window.

    How can I customize the alignment of the node (Middle center for example) in the scroll pane.

    The layoutBoundsInParent of the node, get the viewportBounds of scrollpane and perform the conversion of the node, such as the center of the node is at the center of the viewportBounds (requires a bit of simple math to do this) by adding listeners on each property.

    When the size of the node is scaling greater than the size of the pane to scroll bar scroll the scroll pane is displayed and if the node size is shrinking, and there the size becomes smaller that the scroll pane is then the node is aligned on the Community Center.

    Similar to above, come to work with these properties.

    Not exactly a direct answer to your question, but you can try to play with the code after if you like Saludon. This is something I wrote to learn about JavaFX layoutbounds system. Resizing of the scene and activating / deactivating elements on and outside will allow you to see the scroll pane. View limits listeners show you properties that you are interested in getting the desired effect.
