How to stop CD to open in maximized view every time, for every PDF file?

I've just upgraded to Acrobat Reader DC the other day. Now, every PDF file I opened, from any source, in any event, opens with the player mode "enlarged". It's about the most irritating thing that I have ever met, Adobe provides no obvious way for it be turned off. The older player did NOT do that.

Adobe is a 'despot' with hogging space on my screen? or is it possible to define this sort the Player opens in a 'normal' view: not maximized and not minimized, each time?

"I tried all obvious settings, such as: open to the"last record"view" setting.  All the options in the preferences... Nothing seems to work!

Please help... it's driving me crazy. I have other windows that I use.

Thank you.

I'm glad to hear that it worked for you. The above mentioned registry key was a bit hard, so I re-post workaround for everyone's reference.

If you experience the problem with the window in maximized State, here is the resolution-

For key - name "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\WebResource" and the value - "irandom", change the value to 0 x 00001000 in hexadecimal or 4096 in decimal. Of workaround should work until we drive on an appropriate fix.

    Hi manojp35249311,

Acrobat 7 is not compatible with Windows 7, so it's difficult to judge how the application on an incompatible environment will behave.

Please attach a screenshot so that we can diagnose the problem correctly.

  • DeskJet 3054 A how to adjust settings for printing PDF files?

I have the printer set for 'quick project, ordinary, black and white paper' - it works for MS Office documents and Web pages. However, there is no adjustment as this one for PDFs, so each PDF document print is on the highest quality settings. How to set it to a PDF file?

    I use a Mac.

    Thank you.

    Hello

You have the same available settings on Acrobat as well:

    1. Open the PDF file, and then click file > Primt.
    2. In the print dialog, click on the printer... button.
    3. Confirm to display the OS dialog box.

You can now find the same screen, including the menu presets.

  • How can I set the option of working "press quality" to create a PDF file by using the right click?

I need to process a large volume of PDF from Word files.

Option of work required is high quality press.

I tested the creation of PDFs in 2 ways:

Open the file in Word and PDF/Print/File and select high quality default press + save as default printer

Then I tested it by selecting several files to a directory and using the right click (convert to PDF)

Results: PDF do not have the same properties and right click PDF files have a poorer quality unsuitable for printing paper.

Do you know how to set the option of high quality for the click press right (Adobe does not use the same parameters depending on the operation)?

Go to the preferences of Acrobat. Choose the convert to PDF pane and click Microsoft Office Word. Click on change settings and from there, you get a dialog box that allows you to set the Settings Adobe PDF for such operations in batches. Select the option of high quality print and then press OK twice and you should be good to go.

On my PDF files, I am able to highlight text, but does not know how to change the color of the highlight.  I got Adobe Reader and also paid upgrade - but honestly, I don't know what program I have.  This is more confusing application, that I have ever used!

    Hi vickis,.

You may need to go to the comment pane and right-click on the annotation "Highlight text" and choose "Properties of the tool by default".

The highlighter tool properties dialog box opens from which you can change the highlight color.
