How to trigger the F6 KEY to a single form, the default behavior for others?

We use Forms 10g Release 2. Our client has a requirement like this: in the form only one , they want the entire form to clear (i.e. the clear form) when they press F6 (clear instruction).

Now, in our forms, we use the default fmrweb.res. So, because of what happens when we press F8 on the keyboard now noting.

To clear the form when the user press F6 key keyboard I did the following to the fmrweb.res .
# Commented this line 
#117  : 0 : "F6"             : 62 : "Clear Record"

# Added these 2 lines to the bottom 

117 : 0  : "F6"  : 88  : "Function 6"
117 : 8  : ""    : 62  : ""
Now, I create a level trigger and shape KEY - F6 and put CLEAR_FORM; in this.

Now, when I run the form and press the F6 key, the shape is erased. To make it work.

But the problem is the following. Other forms when we run and press the F6 key, we get
FRM-41008: Undefined function key....
What I've discovered, is that when we make meanings (e.g. change the fmrweb.res) We MUST create a trigger of the F6 KEY and put the code.

Problem is that we have 100s of forms in our application. Since we want that this feature only in this form (i.e. for F6 clear the entire form) and other forms should operate as usual what we can do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The trigger for the F6 KEY has nothing to do with the F6 key on your keyboard. The Fn - KEY triggers are triggers defined by the user that you associate with a key or combination of keys. Yes, you can map the KEY - F6 to F6, but this isn't a good idea.

In your case, it is much easier. In the form where you want to RECORD CLEAR CLEAR form, just redefine KEY-CLRREC:

Clear_Form (No_Validate);

    Recently, I messed up the permissions of the files. What happened is that I took my laptop hard drive (win 7 64 bit system) in a USB external hard drive case. Then I get the USB into another windows office 7. I went through the users (perhaps of other files) folder in the hard disk of laptop on the desktop via a USB connection. It is very likely that the Office has changed the permissions of the files.
    I put the hard drive to my laptop, but some applications gives error like access denied messages.
    Is there a safe way to fix them? How to reset the default permissions?

    BTW, have you worked with permissions of folders? Do you know what happens if permission to c:\users is messed up?

    When permissions in a subfolder in the users folder are confused so the user will not be able to run some programs, to create, modify or delete some files. The folder property affected, followed by assigning appropriate permissions, is usually sufficient to solve the problem.

    I do a simulation and grabbing a my user text entry.  I store in a variable and you want to use as the default text for a text entry later in the simulation box.  It seems like it would need current for a software simulation.  However, I don't see a way to set the default text.  If I put the variable in a legend, I would use the syntax $$variablename$ $.  I tried to fix this in the text by default, but it did not work.  It is not interpreted as a variable.  Does anyone do this?  Please share.  Thank you.

    I had a need to do that as well... put a variable as default text name in a TBE field.

    I have a widget AS3 to do this, which can be found here.  There a Cp 4 demo file that does exactly what you describe.

    You can change a model of a composite partitioned table subpartition by replacing it with a new model of subpartition.     Any idea whay and if can change

    Change the template affects only the created NEW partitions/subpartitions. If you want existing subpartitions to a different tablespace, you will need to move it.

    When you start the new Flash Catalyst project, you have the option to enable resizing

    This setting is enabled by default.

    If you need to change it later, you can go into edit > settings of the artboard.

    Now when you publish your project, the width and height will be there will substitute.

    As to manually file editting the HTML, there are 3 sets of tag that define the width and height of the project (to manage different browsers). You will need to adjust the values of each of these tag sets. You should just have to do if you cannot republish the file.

    Is it possible to set the default value for a specific profile, instead of one that keeps coming back (output mode: CGATS TR 001)?

    It is very tedious to have to select several times my profile every time I open a PDF and the file in the release of caliber preview.

    All you have to do is set the default CMYK (under Preferences > color management) to the profile that you use most. It will then default to this profile in the output preview, unless you have a specified output mode.

    We are generating an Excel report using report Builder10g.
    Loan_No. column is of type varchar, but the client has only numbers in there that is longer than 15 characters sometimes like (121231231123124324).
    The values in this column appear as 'Exponential' by 'E' Excel thinks that this value is digital (123213E).
    For the test, I add a Word to say of the character 'A' and a comma before this Loan_No as (A121231231123124324) /('121231231123124324'), then the Excel shows this fine Loan_No if she sees this as a tank.
    The other option customer request to manually change the column Loan_No in tank in Excel, once the report is generated.

    My question to this forum is... can we change the default behavior of Excel Report Builder... ?
    In other words, can we create an Excel Macros and add it to our code... while creating an Excel report?

    This should be "= TEXT '.
