How to troubleshoot a failed transplant recovery?
Hello
I tried to click on "Start Windows normally" but when I do it directs me to the "Windows Boot Manager" page & says:
Windows could not start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To solve the problem:
- Insert your Windows installation disc, and then restart your computer.
- Choose your language settings, and then click "next".
- Click on "Repair your computer."
If you do not have the disk, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.
File: \Windows\system32\config\system
Status: 0xc000014c
Info: Windows could not load because the system registry file is missing or corrupt.
and the biggest problem is that I do not have a cd of windows with me as it came pre-installed vista, I presume... Please suggest what I do... more details...
- When I press on enter it leads me to windows Boot Manager screen and asks me to choose an operating system...
- I have only vista as a listed option and when I select that and enter and it brings back me to the recovery page error windows even to choose "Safe Mode" option and other...
- I even tried to make the windows memory diagnostic test, but it doesn't seem to help, and I think it seems totally out of context for me if I'm wrong please correct me.
- And by the way, mine is a Sony Vaio laptop... and I don't really know what to with the F8 options when I start the computer I mean that's what I don't know if I force wanting to take risks and do everything jump.
Please help me, I hope I won't be losing my data...

I just finished a new construction, including Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Update all the drivers went through, and now I get BSOD. Initially, I'd get them, after that the system wake up to 'sleep' mode, but this morning I received after you start the computer from the closure. They are the mistakes STOP F4, and I'm sure that there is a way to fix them, I just need help on where to start. After a few reboots to check the version of the BIOS and what not, the computer would no longer connect to the internet.
Here is my configuration:
CPU: Intel Core i3-3225 3.3 GHz Dual - Core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock H77M Micro ATX LGA1155 motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3-1600 memory
Storage: Intel 330 series 240GB 2.5 "Solid State Disk

Power supply: Rosewill Capstone 450W 80 PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V / EPS12V power supply
Optical drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD burner
Operating system: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)
Other: 2 x Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB 3.5 "7200 RPM hard drive internalAnd here are two mistakes STOP I was able to capture up to now:
STOP: 0X000000F4 (0XFFFFFA800B938B30, 0XFFFFFA800B938E10, 0 X 000000000000003, 0XFFFFF80002F80460)STOP: 0X000000F4 (0XFFFFFA800BCF4B30, 0XFFFFFA800BCF4E10, 0 X 000000000000003, 0XFFFFF800031D4460)
This was my first computer build and I really enjoyed until the software part; simply too many current intangibles. A lot to learn and I'm happy to do, but my wife would like a stable computer.

How to troubleshoot the plugin does not not in Acrobat
Hi all
I am just starting to develop my Plugin and I'm unable to troubleshooting / debugging.
First of all, a bit of history:
I start with a simple example, based on the example of BasicPlugIn that adds a menu item that displays a form of language c# .NET. I have the .NET extracted via a C++ wrapper shape. I'll call the wrapper of the plug. At this point, the MyPlugInCommand method has a single line:
CFW CoyoMenuFormsWrapper;
This line is simply instantiated the exported class.
If I DELETE this line and debug, everything is great. I touched my breakpoints and the menu item is displayed in Acrobat format.
If I LEAVE this line and debug then nothing. No point of debugging, no menu item.
I suspect this is a. Problem loading the DLL and I conducted depends.exe the and it showed nothing unusual. The exported dll that has the wrapper (Adobe2Net) is present and reported in detail.
Acrobat records all errors that might give me a clue? I see nothing in the event logs or ProgramData. Any other suggestions on how to troubleshoot the loading has failed?
Thank you
Mark
.
Just followed this issue closely.
I could get my plugin to work if the DLL in the folder plug_ins, but which was not possible for me. I opted to go down the road of COM Interop and it works very well.
Thanks for the help.

The problem is that no orders are received by the Arduino.
However, I can use the Serial Monitor built into the Arduino IDE to send commands to the Arduino and get the required result.

So, I'm looking for suggestions on how to troubleshoot a USB virtual COM port.

How to delete files on the recovery disk?
I'm running out of space on my recovery disk. I noticed that the compress and the index of the boxes are both checked.
I would like to know what to do and how to delete files on the recovery drive.Thank you for your help.
It is very unwise to delete these files, because it is your ONLY way to recover your PC in the event of catastrophic problem with the operating system that cannot be repaired by returning your PC to set up "out of the box. In fact, most of the PC with a recovery partition you cannot save data on that partition. If you are still determined to do the easiest to remove these data is boot safe mode with command prompt. Set up the focus on the recovery partition and delete everything form the command line. I'm not trying to be insulting, but if you don't know how to do that you probably shouldn't be remove your data from the recovery Partition because without falling back on you should have to be pretty savvy to reload Vista and install all the drivers on your own. How to install Vista SP1 after that 947366 troubleshooting has failed?
I have Vista Home Premium 32-bit. I want to install SP1 (and, eventually, SP2 before the April deadline, deadline of 2010). I tried the "Windows Update" - it did not work. I downloaded the installation manual - it did not work. I tried searching for an answer in the forum "Install Vista, upgrade and Acivate", and Mick Murphy (Microsoft Partner) referred me to this forum, the forum "Windows Update". This is probably the right forum to deal with SP1 installation problems vis a vis Vista. Could someone please offer some advice on what would be my next step in the installation of Vista SP1 32-bit? To be more precise on the substantive contribution: I met this http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=101139link, which redirects to this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947366and this link 947366 is where I went through resolution 1 to 4 of the resolution in a vain attempt to get SP1 installed on my computer. In other words, I've tried every resolution 1, 2, 3 and 4 and each result is a pop-up window evoking me the 101139 link. ATER each resolution has failed, I reached the bottom of 4 resolution follows her where:
Note If the problem is not resolved, this content cannot help you. So, you might want to visit the Microsoft Web site at the following address:
which of course makes back off the screen of troubleshooting altogether. I tried to call Microsoft and their lines are busy all the time. I hope that someone else has experienced this similar problem. I did much research on Google, nothing helps. I hope someone in "Microsoft answers" can provide a response to my "question of Microsoft." Again, my question is: what should I do to get SP1 is installed if resolution 1 to 4 of the resolution at this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947366 failed? The above is the most accurate description of the problem that I can provide, including the specific error codes and I have already taken measures. Please please please help!Thank you!Paulbyl,
I suggest that you first run the disk error check and make sure your player is no problem. Then, run the System File Checker to check for problems with the system files. If he can find and correct and rerun the System Update tool . At this point, you must perform a clean boot , and then try to start the installation of stand alone for SP1.If SFC finds issues it cannot fix you will need to perform an inplace of Vista upgrade. Follow the steps described in this article.

That has worked and portable runs much, but now I want to BACK the recovery partition (now only on the USB I think) for the new HARD drive.Simple to shrink the disk HARD C: (partition 2) on the HARD disk, but then how to transfer twhats on the USB (USB recovery stick) back on the HARD drive?
Thanks for any help.

Hello karim
When you buy the notebook you will get it with preinstalled operating system (recovery image). Original recovery image is saved on the HARD disk on the recovery partition.
Each owner of the laptop has option to make the backup recovery image and create recovery media. It could be the DVD or USB support. You can do this by using preinstalled Toshiba recovery media creator tool.
This tool will create bootable recovery media that can be used for the installation of original image recovery if there is problem with the installation of image disk HARD recovery or when the drive is defective and must be replaced.Where the HARD drive is faulty and should be replaced or the owner of the laptop to upgrade HARD drive, you can install original image created using recovery recovery media (USB). After installing recovery image, you will have the same situation as for the first boot after the purchase of the laptop. With other words notebook will have factory settings again.
In this case original recovery image is already copied onto the new HARD drive and you will also be able to start the installation of HARD drive recovery. There is therefore no reason to copy a recovery on HARD drive media.
Please note: installation of HARD drive recovery works with the factory only settings. If you have any other questions do not hesitate to ask.
Good luck.

How can I create a full recovery for OS and preinstalled software media?
Hello
My son´s accompanying the new Satelite L855-10U preinstalled OS and much other software already installed on the HARD drive, but no installation media, the client is supposed to create a tool from Toshiba.I created 6 Swedish recovery for the operating system using the tools Toshiba had installed on the HARD drive.
To do this 6 Swedish, I created with the Toshiba Recovery tool contain the operating system and all other preinstalled software?
How can I create the installation media full and usable if not for the operating system and all other preinstalled software?
I can´t find all the information on the backup software pre-installed with the exception of the BONE. Is there complete information how to do the above, in the manual of the computer, or have you missed this information?
I would like to know how I can create media backup complete and usable for the operating system as well as for all other preinstalled software, so I can recreate all the facilities of the plant at a new disk if/when the original HARD disk crashes.
Is there a partition hidden with pre-installed software, and if so, how can I create a backup of this partition, or all the software, so I can reinstall everything if the HARD drive fails, if it is already not with the Swedes 6 Toshiba tool created for me?
Forward to your response and to complete your customer documentation about the complete instructions for installation and recovery media creation.
Thank you very much!
Baltazar
Hello
On this forum, you will find a lot of useful comments on the recovery image saved on the HARD drive and its operation to the facility and the creation of recovery disks.
All this is clearly and simply.Front of Toshiba offer new people for laptop in software development create recovery image. This recovery image will be created for each laptop model (specific hardware configuration). Recovery image contains the operating system, all necessary drivers, tools/utilities Toshiba specific and some other software like DVD/Blu-Ray, Microsoft Office test drive and the antivirus application. With this configuration every laptop owner can begin to use the laptop without having to install important applications.
This package is then saved on the HARD drive and can be used for the installation of HARD drive recovery - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD1303440001R01.htm. In other words, if something is wrong with HARD drive recovery facility you can reset the preinstalled operating system and reinstall recovery imae. After that make you have absolute same settings you had after purchase and first start of the laptop.
HARD drive recovery image can not be used if:
-HARD drive is defective
-you have installed the version of the own BONE
Structure of the HARD disk partitions - is changed
Recovery image - HARD drive is deleted or moved to another partition or copied to the external device. To avoid all this Toshiba recommends the creation of recovery disks. Using these disks, you will be able to install the OS on the new drive HARD or in any other situation listed above.
Please note: the use of recovery disks will remove all HARD drive, create the new recovery partition and install image recovery, so you still have the same settings.I hope I can help you with my explanation. If you have any other questions you are welcome.
