  It seems that this camera has been added in Lightroom 5.5. This means that there will be support for that camera to version 5.5 to leave, but there is no support for the camera in previous versions. You can upgrade to Lightroom 5 and that support.   Photoshop CS5 to read files from Nikon D750 to atleast Camera Raw 8.7 or higher.

  However, I believe that you would not be able to update Camera Raw, so you can download and install the DNG Converter and convert the files to DNG.

  The 7 D Mark II only has not supported until Camera Raw version 8.7. Elements 8 supports the versions of Camera Raw 5.5 to 6.2.

  Your choice must pass to 13 items or download the free DNG Converter , so you can open the DNG converted into 8 elements.

  The next best option is to download a free copy of Adobe DNG Converter and use it to a format that your current ACR can work.

  I finally answered my own question... with help with the IT quy I live with that.

  Looks like I deleted somehow the link to the file where imports my test lived. When I chose a new place to direct my imports it worked very well. Then, user error and I don't really know what I've done, but at least I know that works import and I just need to understand my filing system by paying attention to what I do as I learned this.

  Yes, Lightroom CC is Canon 50 d raw files supported: supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices

  You can import them directly into Lightroom.
