  At the same time, according to the account, you had a selection in Mail preferences to store messages for consultation offline. You no longer have that option in Mail. Now Mail keeps a copy for viewing offline on all accounts IMAP automatically, and you cannot change that.

  You have different options with other e-mail clients, but I'm not sure about this. Your other option is to not use an e-mail application and just access it from webmail via a browser. Then nothing is stored on a computer.

  You can use rules to messages in OE for shunt of messages to a junk e-mail folder, and then you can easily filter the junk e-mail folder.  Go to tools | Message rules and set up a rule that if the message is for you, then stop processing more rules.  Then set up a rule to move all messages to the junk e-mail folder (create the first).  Then all messages not to you will get dumped into the junk e-mail folder.  Alternatively, you can set up a message rule that if the object contains some words, then you can also move messages to the junk e-mail folder.  See also http://www.insideoe.com/tips/rules.htm

  Be sure to use authentication for the outgoing as well (same user/pass as incoming) server. At first glance, this seems to be the issue here. Let me know if you still have questions later.

To my delight, mailboxes of Boomerang appeared spontaneously in my sidebar of Apple Mail. My question is: is there any way to make Boomerang buttons also become visible when you use Apple Mail, so that I don't have to go on Safari / my gmail/composing if I want Boomerang an email, but it can compose messages and Boomerang Mail?

  I see that you do not want to open two e-mail accounts at the same time using the Mail application. I understand perfectly. I have multiple e-mail accounts set up in my Mail application. I'm happy to help you with this.

  You can have more than one e-mail account set up in the Mail application. The first time you open Mail, it may prompt you to add an e-mail account (if you have not already done). Select an account type, and then enter your account information. To add another account, choose Mail > add an account, select an account type, and then enter your account information. Make sure that the Mail check box is selected for the account.

  If you have already both set in place, and I just want to be able to view both on the screen at the same time, open Mail, and then click file at the top.  From there, select the option for the new window of the observer.  This will open a new window where you can see each of the individual mailboxes on the same screen.
