  OK, it worked. Someone suggested dismantling drives all connected. In fact, no luck. But while all the disks were taken out and closed all applications I uninstalled Acrobat Pro using the application in the folder Acrobat Pro. Then I went back to the installer and have already told him only to install Acrobat Pro. Once done everything first, I opened Acrobat Pro. He asked to install some extras and I said no a few times. It opened and worked on a test pdf. With her still open I tried to open Acrobat Distiller. He did not ask a serial number, but I wanted to just install an extra. I said no again and it finished opening. Wanted to be my default PDF application but an extract which is better so I said, person not the last time. He has worked to create a perfect pdf of an Illustrator EPS. Hope this works for you also.

  What happens if you try to open the catalog to 14 items? You get a message? You can always start the Organizer while keeping the SHIFT key and choosint of "repair" or use a new catalog.

  If you open the former organizer of 13 elements, the catalog should open fine, even if it has been renamed.

  As the HP Installation Wizard does not work with the Mavericks, is there another way to get my printer wireless connected to my wifi network? This printer (HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809) works well with the Mavericks on my old wifi network. But my DSL provider has recently installed a new router, so I have a new wifi network which works fine with everything else.

  I was able to get my two Airport Express to join my new network, using Airport utility, but I'm stumped as to how to get my printer to join the new network without the help of the HP installation wizard.

  Following the advice of Shlomi, I managed to reset my printer so that it now appears in my list of networks wifi under devices, such as hpsetup. But I got. Any help would be more approeciated.

  Bruce777 solved this problem for me, thanks Bruce! My printer now works perfectly on my new wifi network!

  Bruce instructions, for anyone else having the same issue:

  -delete all printers already implemented

  -Rub old hp software and updated software for the hp 2.8 drivers

  -Unplug the usb cable from the printer if you have connected

  -restore the network printer hpsetup (hold down the power button / stop and press the button x 2 network and then cancel 3 x, release power button).

  -Print the wireless network test report (hold down the button to network and update support 2 x). Check the ssid network name is hsetup

  -arrived in sys prefs > network and change the mac to hpsetup wireless network

  -go to the sys pref > print scanning

  -Add the HP 8000 printer

  -Click the supplies button and options and click on the printer to show Web page

  -Click on the Networking tab > wireless in the left pane > start networking wizard and change the network of hpsetup to your network

  -finishing (this page may freeze.  Close the browser)

  -Return to the sys prefs and change the network wireless to your networt

  -go to the printer and print the wireless network test report (updated 2 x key and press the network button).  Make sure that the SSID is your network

  -go to system prefs > print scan > select your printer > options & supplies > see the printer Web page > network info (check ssid and compare it to the wireless network test report)

  -try to print something on your printer.  It might take a bit of time first impression.

  This isn't something that can be controlled from your connected HP account. You will need to speak to a representative of the competent Department of ink instant.  (A congratulations to move things in the right direction would be appreciated). The question now is how to communicate with the instant the ink service.

  My suggestion is that you go to the site of Lexmark, support, drivers and downloads. There, after you select your specific printer model, you will see whether or not they have a driver for your version of Windows (including the number of bits, 32, or 64).

  The site also has a universal print driver that would work. But even once, you will need to know your specific printer model type and the version of Windows that you are running.
