HP LS993AA AMD over-pants V7900

Hello
I have a question. I am building my own computer for 3D engineering.
I want to have the over-pants v7900
Now my question is,
Can I use the HP LS993AA AMD over-pants V7900 in my building, or is it only compatible with HP computers?
I have a processor Intel core i7 4th generation
Card mother ASRock Q87M
32 GB of Ram
240GB Samsung SSD

Would be great if someone could answer my question.

Welcome,
Yasin

Hi Yasin1990,

HP LS993AA AMD over-pants V7900, should work with the computer that you generate. I have included the "AMD over-pants™ features graphic V7900» As long as it is supported by the motherboard you will use, you shouldn't have a problem.

Kind regards.

After that the update of Adobe CC last first began to warn me that im about to open projects to take advantage of acceleration GPU (OpenCL) which is not available on my system.

In the project settings, I can not change the rendering engine of mercury as 'Software' is grayed out.

Not able to use OpenCL on new projects or im. Old projects where created on the same hardware and open until recently without any warning.

I phoned AMD, they said that their latest driver would not support OpenCL and I should return to the "15.201.2401 - whql-over-pants-retail", I did. It does not solve the problem though.

The motherboard has an integrated graphics card. Maybe that has something to do with it?

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

Indeed, it was the graphics card Intel! But I don't disable it in the BIOS, but through the Windows Device Manager.

    Now it works again.

Trying to diagnose why my first is extremely slow. I looked at the parameters of the project and the rendering engine is stuck on 'Software Only' and is grayed out. • How to use the GPU for the AMD over-pants D500 in Mac pro 2013

I install the first CC 2015 Pro and After Effect CC 2015 to 2013 with the graphics card AMD over-pants D500 Pro Mac, I can set GPU rendering in Premiere Pro, but impossible to define in the After Effect, only can use the CPU in the preview of the setting, how can I do?

AE uses only a few NVIDIA CUDA enabled cards to speed up rendering drawn with RADIUS. This feature never quite worked, with disabilities masks and effects on layers 3D, and NVIDIA has changed the direction of their development of this technology for the Ray-traced rendering feature is is more developed by Adobe. They are working on another technology to use the GPU, but it is not yet available. There is nothing you can do to enable the GPU acceleration, unless you have a compatible NVIDIA card.

Æ use the GPU for very little. See the following page: features GPU (CUDA, OpenGL) in After Effects

Basically, the only thing AE to use is obsolete ray-traced rendering engine. The ray-traced rendering engine relied on technology CUDA from NVIDIA. It was only accelerated on some NVIDIA cards. A card AMD will never work with the ray-traced rendering engine, but it's normal because very few people using the ray-traced rendering engine! Instead, use Cinema 4 d that comes free with AE or use a third-party plugin like element or Invigorator 3d (which can use the AMD maps).

  • Vs GTX 980 Ti Quadro K4200 vs AMD over-pants W7100

I have change and color of image quality raw RED 4.5 K in Premiere Pro. I want to get a 10-bit, 4K display and need to upgrade my GPU to run it.

The standard position seems to be "NVIDIA are much better than AMD CUDA being much better than OpenCL", but there is a compelling case for the week of specifications and compatibility:

    GTX 980 Ti Quadro K4200 AMD over-pants W7100
    4K @ 60 Hz?
    10-bit color?

    • Downgrade to 1440 p/monitor 10-bit / a Quadro.
    • Just accept no 10-bit color, get the GTX 980 it
    • Go AMD, but risking worse performance (e.g. Debayering R3D files).

    Please advise, I'm stuck!

    Thank you

Current GPU: GTX 750 Ti (who plays 4.5 K R3Ds 1/4 resolution without problem).

unless you plan to dual quadro k4200 or over-pants w7100 running, you may not be satisfied with their performance. Depending on your project, a single gtx 980 ti should be able to handle the Red images. with regard to the 10 bits of output, just get a video card aja or blackmagic to feed your 10-bit monitor.

I have CS6 installed longer, so I don't remember the exact tree that he uses.  There are 2 text files, that you need to remove.  We're in the Premiere Pro installation directory, and the other is in the Adobe Media Encoder, a.  You locate the file called opencl_supported.txt.  You can find this file in the installation directories.  Delete both.  PR of restart and you should be able to choose OpenCL as the hardware renderer.

  • GPU AMD over-pants D700 support?

I don't think that there is a way for me to get the AE to use my GPU for Open-GL, is there? (AMD over-pants D700 (x 2), 6144 MB of VRAM, width of the track of PCIe x 16) I spent a lot of money on this machine and it seems strange that the graphics cards more expensive, you can buy with the new Mac Pro just are not enough. No idea if I'll ever be able to use these for Open-GL or should I just forget it exists?

Functions of After Effects OpenGL should work properly on what GPU do you something special. Are you find otherwise?

Be sure that you understand what After Effects use OpenGL for:

  • AMD vs. Nvidia Quadro over-pants?

    Hello guys,.

I'll buy a new graphics card in the next few days. I did a lot of research in which buy: over-pants w8100 or Quadro m4000.

I was wondering if which of these cards will occur at the TIME REAL PRECEDENT and RENDERING?

Some of the people actually said that AE support CUDA and over-pants isn't a good choice when it comes to maps of EI.

But AMD has clearly said on their Internet site, AMD over-pants™ and Adobe graphics card = they did team with Adobe to fully optimize their FirePros.

So, what would be your recommendation?

    Current PC installation

    I7 5930 k

    32GB DDR

    225 GB SSD

    2 x 1 TB HARD drive

    Mobo Gigabyte x 99

The latest version of After Effects use the GPU for very little, so I wouldn't worry AE too. First is a lot more heavy-GPU.

People who say that AE uses CUDA are wrong. They probably think of the old ray-traced rendering engine. It only uses CUDA on some NVIDIA cards to speed up, this is a deprecated feature I would recommend against the use at all, so don't worry about this.

The latest version of After Effects (13.8.1) has 3 effects GPU acceleration (Lumetri, improve sharpness and Gaussian blur nine). These three effects use CUDA or CL open on Windows machines.

However, NVIDIA cards tend to work better for video work in all areas - even in the 3d world with GPU converters like octane number (one of the most popular third-party converters for Cinema 4 d), the results are much better with NVIDIA or are possible only with NVIDIA.

CS6 does support OpenCL and OpenGL?

Are all features that CS6 supports for NVidia Cuda available for the M6100 OpenCL?

Bill supposed to first Pro CC (not CS6) response. Windows of Premiere Pro CS6 version does not support OpenCL for accelerating GPU of MPE. Therefore, there is no "opencl_supported_cards.txt" file in the folder of Premiere Pro, and the code to OpenCL is disabled permanently in all versions of Windows from Premiere Pro CS6. So, for your over-pants M6100 Premiere Pro CS6 will be permanently locked to only software MPE mode. (Acceleration GPU of MSES in the Windows of Premiere Pro CS6 version is limited to the CUDA only, which means that only NVIDIA for GPU - no AMD over-pants or GPU Radeon support CUDA at all.)

  • No video preview after the over-pants ati driver update

Hello, after uninstalling the old drivers, I installed the latest drivers over-pants 14.301.1019. I have now no video playback in a preview window. (What is happening also in sony vegas 13.pro)

I have a 64 bit windows desk top 7 PC with an ATI over-pants V7900 card installed.

I can play video files in other programs like TMPGENC works, quick time player etc it just seems to be editing programs that have lost the ability to read the files.

The files are a mix of HDV, avi ciniform files and ciniform mov,

I tried a reinstall of sony vegas and that made no difference.

I tried to reinstall the old drivers, but it makes no difference.

Has anyone else seen elsewhere, or have a solution.

    Thanks John.

sounds like a driver issue since it occurs in both programs. both have a possibility not to use the gpu for rendering/acceleration. I do not use amd graphics card, but when you install y at - it an option to remove the previous or pure settings install?  you might need to uninstall all software AMD, reboot and then reinstall. from time to time of the graphics drivers just don't install correctly in windows and amd software is known for its problems...

  • Illustrator and inDesign: over-pants D500 or over-pants D700?

I am looking to buy a new Mac Pro. I was wondering if I should choose the Dual AMD over-pants D700 with 6 GB memory GDDR5 or the Dual AMD over-pants D500 with 3 GB memory GDDR5. The Mac will run for the most part, Illustrator and InDesign and used to create a POS, signage and vehicle graphics. I do not create or edit video files or 3D. I guess that to put it more simply, Illustrator and inDesign will benefit from the additional resources available on the D700 over-pants?

If you're just doing 2D work, no, not by any means. up to a high level of complexity, you can get away with a lot less.
