HP Participation Program popup

just installed the Windows 7 version of the dirvers for an OfficeJet 7310. I get a burst up every 10-15 minutes asking to join the HPs Feedbakck program. Every time I refused because I don't want information sent to HP.

How can I disable this for good participation?

TIA

Hello Ken_3028,

I apologize that you had to wait so long for an answer. To resolve this problem follow the steps.

1. on windows start icon on the computer

2 then on Control Panel

3. click on programs and features.

When you click on that you will see a list of programs. Please search for HP customer Participation. Click on that and highlight the program.  Then click on the Remove option. Wait for a while until that program is deleted from the computer.

You may be prompted to restart the computer. Restart the computer, and then check if you get the context menu.

Let me know if it solves the problem.

Say thank you by clicking on the Start Bravo!

I just want to know if it's too much space because I do not use it. Is this a program my printer needs or is this something els and I can delete?

    Hello

As far as I know, it presents statistics on how the product is used to help HP to develop and improve their products, so I imagine that this could well point out any error that meets your printer.  It is not responsible for the updates - you must have a separately installed application called HP Update which is responsible for this.

Of course, every system is different, but I can say that I uninstalled without loss of functionality - I also remember receiving a similar warning when uninstalling.

As a point of interest, in the early stages of the installation of the suite of the printer, if you select the Advanced Options, you can select not to do to install this application (and other optional components such as Photosmart Essentials, shop supplies etc.).

  • The Adobe product improvement program popup freezes and won't let me open Illustrator

The popup for improvement of the product where they want you to join their program just came today when I tried to open Illustrator CS4.  I used it on OS X El Capitan and its been fine until today. The popup freezes.  None of the links are active and Illustrator will not open.  How to disable the pop-up window or tell adobe that I won't participate if it turns off itself?  The only solution I found was to edit files in Illustrator.  The text editor could not save the files, because they said I didn't have permission, even if I am registered as an administrator.  I tried Adobe online chat and they assured me that someone would get back to me on the forum.

I suggest that you keep HP Imaging Device function (it is your scanner), HP's OCR software (it's also for scanning), Deskjet, Officejet, PSC, and HP Photosmart All-in-one-softwware, HP, HP Product Detection and update HP Solution Center.

The rest of the software should not be required and you should be able to remove it safely.  If you have any questions about the specifics of the software please do not hesitate to ask.

    Hi Louie.

HP Photo Creations is a program for creative photo printing. You can use it to do ranging from simple printing of calendars, greeting cards and scrapbook pages at home. You can also use it to design and order gifts such as mugs, posters and photos related to ship books. Here is an example to spread a photo book.

If none of these is interesting, you can safely remove.

    Number of points:

    1. you have to decide for yourself the programs you want to use and
are important to you. No one else can answer that question for you.

    2. again, it is your choice, not mine, but a lot of these look
precious and I wouldn't remove them.

    3. If you decide to get rid of some programs, do not remove them.
Delete them instead of the control panel.

    4. many of them are tiny and remove them win you only a very
    small amount of disk space.

    5. If you are short on disk space, rather than trying to win the place of
Remove Programs, or anything else, I highly recommend that you buy
and install a bigger hard drive. They are not expensive; a 500 GB drive
can be purchased on Amazon.com for around US $60. Everything you do for
a record space is that a temporary measure and you won't be
soon you find yourself in the same situation.

I'm a novice so keep things simple: I'm freeing disk space: I installed a Service Pack 2 for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 and also a Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2. Do I need these two?... the 3.0 and 2.0. Here are the 2 biggest programs. Also, do I need something called Adobe reader? ..... The 4th most grand is a 'HP Customer Participation 9.0' program which I cannot remove. In my Add / Remove control panel when I click to delete this nothing happens. I put the disc in which I used when I added a printer. It gives me an option to remove it, but even if I select it, nothing happens. Should I disconnect my printer and start from scratch?

    Hello

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.
.NET framework is a software framework that is necessary for the proper functioning of the computer. Many programs rely, to not uninstall them.
About Adobe Acrobat Reader, it is a type of file opening/handling application portable document format (PDF). If you feel you don't need a reader/visualization of PDF software, you can uninstall it.
On the subject of HP Customer Participation Program 9.0, you can contact HP support for help.
In addition, you can try the following to free disk space:
Go to computer-> select C:\ drive-> click on-> click Properties. On the general tab, click Disk Cleanup. Open Disk Cleanup dialog box, click Ok. This will delete all the unwanted files. Do this for each hard drive partition. In addition, click Windows key + r Run dialog opens. type %temp% , and then press Ok. In the folder of files temporary opening, select all items, click shift + delete. Click Ok to confirm. Let exceptions, i.e. files/folders will be not erasable. In addition, delete the temporary internet files of internet browsers you use.

    Hello

Download and install Revo Uninstaller from the link below.

    http://www.revouninstaller.com/download-freeware-version.php

Run revo and use it to uninstall your printer software.  Make a right click on the program icon you want to remove and select uninstall.  During the process, that you may be asked to remove the registry entries, simply select all and then click on remove.  Do the same for any left over files and folders.  Once you have finished all the uninstalls, restart the PC.

    I hope this helps.

I searched HP website to see if there is a update for my HP OfficeJet 4500 G510g-m printer.  I couldn't find an update avialable.  Is how important it?  Is there an update available for a HP OfficeJet printer?

    Mark Brockman

    Hi BrockmanPC,

I understand that you have an Officejet 4500, which attempted to run an update recently, but failed. I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm absolutely going to do my best to help you!

Generally, the hpqusgh is related to the program HP Customer Participation, which can be removed from your computer and affect all the features of the printer itself. As @lions99 said in his post, he would have just remove the section HP Customer Participation program programs and features or add/remove programs (depending on the version of Windows you have).

If you do not know how to remove it, please let me know what version of Windows you are editing and I'll get back to you

    Method 1:
