Pavilion 14-v060Br: Remove audio beats without loss of sound quality
As many customers know, audio beats produced distortions and can be very annoying.
After a lot of research here, I could remove from Beats Audio and install generic drivers, but then I lost the quality of the sound and equalization that I would have with original drivers.
I would like to know if there is no driver, perhaps from a laptop with a similar material, which can give me back and quality equalization, without the distortions of Beats Audio.
HP shoud really solve this problem.Only, I solved the problem.
I use a HP Pavilion and the soundboard is Realtek, so if your soundboard is an IDT, the solution is different, but I found many topics on the problem of the IDT and I think it was has been resolved.Here we go:
1 uninstall all the drivers, you need to me probably do it in different ways: try to uninstall by ' Panel > uninstall a program > > Unistall Realtek High Definition Audio ' then open the Device Manager and go to "Audio, video and game controllers" and uninstall it too. Probably, there is two options, uninstall both of them. If there are more, uninstall all audio drivers you find. Edit: I forgot one thing, if you have the Support of HP software installed, unistall it too.
2. do NOT restart the computer, if you do this, windows will install the generic drivers.
3. go to 'http://www.realtek.com.tw/ > downloads > High Definition Audio Codecs (software) "and download one of the first two options (32 or 64-bit, with 103161 k or 128412 k files). Install and reboot the computer. I'm not sure but maybe you have to restart the computer two times.
4. the Realtek Control Panel manage will start with windows and equalization will be back, too, the Equalization of the volume that distorts the sound will be gone, but you can check or uncheck in the control panel.
5. If the Equalization of the volume or any other effect is always on and its reduction of the quality of the sound, the right click on the sound icon in the taskbar and then click "Playback devices", then click right-click in one of the devices and select "show disabled devices", then click on 'Speakers' with the right button , then 'properties' and then 'improvements', there you can disable or enable whatever you want, including equalization EQ and volume (witch kills the sound when active).6. what a shame you HP.

And I was wondering so people could help me with a driver update advice for her, because I don't want the laptop from top and die on me if I make mistakes!

yesterday, I installed update with taking assistant in charge of hp and after restarting the wasnot his work so I installed the driver from the hp website, but they provided the driver realtek audio. My sound works but the beats and driver interface is missing.please tell me how to get beats interface and rear driver or where I can download it from?
Have this day you installed through the use of the HP Support Assistant?
I suggest using the Windows system restore and choose a restore point dated to before the update.
You can find the system restore by clicking the Windows icon and select Control Panel.
In the Control Panel, click on system restore.
That should restore control interface beats to your laptop.

Pavilion G4 IDT pilot Audio XP32

I tried 9 different SoftPAQs (intresting they always call em SoftPAQs, it's a return to the old days Compaq) all labelled "IDT High Definition Audio Codec". Unfortunately, they do not give a complete list of this that devices are supported and that I must download and check the DEV_ID and SUBSYS in INF files manually.
Apparently its IDT was acquired by semiconductor Tempo, and they do not serve pilots to the public. Anyone know of a way to search for the driver of HP by DEV_ID database? Or can someone point me to the correct driver?

New driver versions are STWRT. (CAT, sys, inf) - I think that these Win7 32/64 and following. I think that I need the old STHDA. (CAT, sys, inf) drivers for XP32 compliance.

I tried to work with the drivers released by other sellers (Lenovo, Dell, Gateway, Conexant, ASUS, etc) with INFs which seems to confirm my hardware ID and editing of the INFs drivers similar to the same 92HD7x - series 92HD8x. almost 12hrs and 1 GB worth of sound drivers later, it became clear to me that the vendor released drivers can supports custom audio extensions or have some sort of lock commands. SN because I kept getting ERR10 'Device was able to start' or ERR31 'a device attached to the system does not work.
Undaunted by my growing frustration, I pulled information disable the audio chip and started Googling. Surprisingly - although in retrospect I shouldn't been probably - its actually a very common IC manufactured by Realtek, which is twisted and renamed by a host of other vendors, IDT, being one of them. Unlike HP or IDT, Realtek is used legacy drivers to the public, of course with all vendor-specific extensions disabled.
I downloaded and installed the drivers - no INF or MS - UAA tweaking necessary - and it works correctly. See below for a list of the hardware ID (we hope) supported:

Pavilion DV6-6153: No Audio signal except for system sounds
Hello. So recently, I replaced the motherboard in my laptop because my bios has been corrupted. After that all setting upward and upward and the race, I'm running in this audio problem. All the system sounds work fine as the starter and such. When I click on test in sound control panel I can hear it, but when I try to play a music file or to play a video on youtube there is no audio at all. Windows media player says there is a problem with the audio device, but I don't know what it is. So far I tried to uninstall and reinstall the IDT audio drivers but the problem persists. If someone has a different solution, it would be much appreciated! My laptop are:

Here is a link to HP laptops - no sound on speakers (Windows 7). You can skip the steps that you did previously.
If after you have installed the drivers of origin since the Recovery Manager, you still have a problem with the sound, I suggest you do a recovery in factory.
HP computers - performing a recovery of system HP (Windows 7)
During recovery, you will see an option to backup your personal files to avoid data loss.
You could also test the sound card just to rule out this possibility.
