  If this does not work, you have to do a search on google by inserting the PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_780B in the search window.

  AMD products give me fits trying to find their drivers.  The device is a controller Bus SM AMD. That's about all I can find these details.

• SM Bus controller driver missing

  IM missing a driver for SM Bus controller.  My motherboard is a Chaintech 7NJL6.  Im running a Sempron 3000 + with 1 GB of RAM.  I'm not sure if it's related to the missing pilot, but I can not install also 2 GB of RAM.  Where can I find the correct driver and that would solve the problem of installation of RAM or a rider can which I can't find on the internet.  Any help would be appreciated.

  I had to downgrade laptop computer CQ58 a 64 Windows 8 for Windows 7 64 client on their request. The process went very well and I managed to find all the drivers required - except one, the SM Bus controller driver, which I will have supply problems. I think that this is part of the AMD Catalyst package and I downloaded and installed the recommended package of AMD of automatic detection and this has not solved the problem.   Just redid my g7-1365dx and I can't find the "sm bus controller driver" I found an old article here but the links are not good. At all other drivers except this one.   I zipped and tied the smbus controller driver you need below.

  Download and uncompress the file in its folder.

  Don't do anything with the files in the folder.

  Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus who need the pilot.

  Click the driver tab.

  Click on set to update driver.

  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder, that you unzipped.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and the driver should install.

  Restart the PC.
