  I am trying to connect a bluetooth mouse for my HP Pavilion dv6t-3100 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC, its been 10 windows upgrade, I'm not sure if she actually had bluetooth on its previous operating system, the network adapter is "Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000".

  Device Manager shows no bluetooth driver, after having gone through the hassle of downloading drivers and tried different methods, I started to wonder if my PC has made bluetooth or not! How will I know?

  I have the HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-f100 (with bios, specifications: http://support.hp.com/hr-en/product/HP-Pavilion-17-f100-Notebook-PC-series/7234909/model/7492687/doc...) and after installing Windows7 have a problem to connect to internet, as well as to use/access to USB keys and using a mouse. Could you please help me to get more important drivers (unknown device, video controller, bus controller sm bus controller USB, PCI, ethernet, network controller controller device driver) and the most important for you to connect to the internet.

• Pavilion DV7 64 bit: Windows 10 drivers

  I bought my laptop Pavilion in May 2011 and have just upgraded to Windows 10. Is that what I did the wrong thing? I will have problems with drivers and understand that hp do not plan to upgrade the drivers for that old machines. I have it wrong?

  Maybe hp can tell me. It is their intention that if someone uses a laptop computer that old that they should buy a new one, because if that's the case I don't buy hp! A great pity because I was very happy with my laptop to date and do not want to lose him. Is there a solution to this? I have my facts wrong? Is there something I can do? Hp have to say?

  You can't blame HP.

  Microsoft supports upgrading to win 10. Notification of 'Get Win 10' of Microsoft, said you were good to go and you're not if HP is not to blame. Microsoft wants to install Win 10 on as many devices as possible. Installing a lot may not succeed.

  Your PC is four years old. Microsoft should provide all the necessary drivers for a good upgrade experience.

  Return to Win 7 if Microsoft cannot do its thing. It is not for lack of HP.

  Sweet if the upgrade works. Don't blame OEM failure!

  Thank you for your comments.  It worked for me, except the drivers wifi and lan, who I got it from the dt series.

  Apperciate your response altogether.

  A few questions that I am missing are

  (1) when the couple of screen from the screen time flashes white and when stopping down, I tried to disable services to windows error and disable to check automatic soultions. The problem still persists

  (2) there are many unknown features in driversmgmt, do not know how to solve this problem and each time when I got a system usb actually take the time to download the driver instead of automatically identify.

  Sorry if I'm putting questions in one place. Any type of entries will help really

  Unfortunately, there are a lot of missing drivers such as USB, graphics, network controller.

  On the HP download site, I can only download drivers for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

  Can someone guide me to some appropriate drivers for Windows 7?

  I'm trying to downgrade my Pavilion 15z-p200 Windows 8 for Windows 7, before you get mad, that this configuration was sold as the 15z -p100.

  In most, but not all, drivers are on the HP driver support page.  Here is the list of what we're missing

  To find the hardware ID, click the unknown device.

  Then click on the Details tab in the upper part of the device window unknown.

  Now, you see a drop-down list of property and it is set by default to the Description of the unit.

  Drop down on it and select the second element (Hardware ID).

  After the first string of characters you see in the window.

  If the device ID reveals it's the 3D driveguard device, then you can install the driver, or leave the unknown device as is.

  I have an SSD and I installed the driver to get rid of an unknown device.  No negative impact on the performance of the SSD I could say.

  It is a model that is very difficult to install W7 x 64 on and I cannot guarantee everything will work perfectly, but it should.

  Here's the W7 x 64 drivers you need for W7: (assuming you can get it to install)...

  But before we get into that there are two things you need to do before you continue...

  1. your W8.1 recovery media set.  You may not like MS ramming a BONE you dislike in your throat, but you'll like it a lot less if you cannot use your laptop at all, this experience will stop working.  See the information below.

  Here's what you need to do to the smbus controller...

  I have zipped and attached below in attachments, the raw smbus controller driver files to decompress and install manually.

  Download and unzip the file.

  Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus needing drivers.  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder that you unzipped.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.  Then restart.

• Pavilion p6 - 2327c Desktop: Windows 10 upgrade problems

  Just found on my computer has 'failed' every update of Windows 10.  I ran the diagnosis of HP, which fixed the error message, but whenever I click Update Windows 10, he told me to provide my email address and they will let me know when it is available.

  I also see that my C drive is showing 74 GB GB 918 available and that is in the red.  I have an external HD and would like to get rid of everything I have on the C drive, to get out of the red.

  You can download Windows 10 from here to save waiting. Make sure you do a restore of your current system disk incase you need to go back and windows 10 won't let YOY, as he did with one of my PC. Alternatively, you can test for compatibility first to check if your PC is compatible, as suggested by Nuccii.
