  Hello. Im having a problem with my computer Bios administrator password. I remember I put a password once, and then I removed the password once again, but now that I formatted my pc and returned to windows 7 ultimate, when I press F10 it asking me a password. I tried to put the same password I used the first time I tried, but it was not valid. I tried to put my user password is the administrator user, and it did not work...   Unfortunately, business machines such as Probooks or EliteBook have more strict security consumption patterns - they do not produce "stop codes", the password cannot be derived from the serial number and the code is stored in a nonvolatile memory to remove the RTC cell does not reset the password in this case.

  If you contact HP Business support, they may be able to file a custom SMC.bin that you can use to reset the password at startup.

  Insert a clean USB flash drive.

  Then run USB Image tool.

  Choose the flash drive, and then click RESTORE.

  Remove the flash drive after the restore.

  Insert a locked portable flash drive and boot. "" If the HARD drive is installed, remove before starting.

  At C:\OUTPUT, type CD...   "And then press ENTER.

  HPBR of type "and then press ENTER.

  First thing is to save your settings.

  Select 3 # re-program.

  Press "S" to save the system information.

  Type HPBR and press ENTER.

  Select 'of FIRST BROADCAST.

  Then select the model.

  You cannot reset your bios EliteBook, with unknown-admin-password Bios, without the help of HP!

  But HP is verry useful!
