HP Photsmart C7280 - flashing lights and error messages on blue when screen off the printer.

HP Photosmart C7280 All in One.

This 3 year printer seemed to install OK when I it connected via a wireless modem/router.

My turn and Lap Top printed ok for months. They use Windows 7 64-bit.

Recently when the printer was left off for a few days all its lights started to blink.

If I disconnect and reconnect it the power and cable modem/router, the printer works ok again until it is turned off.

The lights will start to Flash.  Also, I'm getting 2 error messages on blue screen when the power is off and the lights are flashing...

B8SIFE84 blue screen error code still appears, and once I saw the blue screen B3772734 error code appear as well.

I deleted and reinstalled the device by using the printer software HP correct and downloaded and installed all the relevant printer updates that I can find. The problem still persists.

Help, ideas or thoughts to the subject of what to do to solve this problem would be appreciated.

Don't

Have sussed out.
Power supply is 'blacktus cactorum cactus. "
It is unclear when it is off.
Looks like this is a new printer for "don't" then buy HP shares and buy a 5 year warranty with the new printer.

    Hello

Search Google has no information about it, which suggests that it is associated with Malware.

Download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware:

I will not erase and returned just if I disconnect power and reconnect it.

This could be the highlight of death for your printer.  There is still a reset, you can try called a partial reset.

    To make a partial reset:

    1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.
    2. Pull out the power cord from the printer.
    3. Pull out the power cord from the wall.
    4. Wait 30 seconds.
    5. Plug the power cord into the wall, but are not reconnect the printer again.
    6. Press and hold the 3 and # buttons on the printer.
    7. While maintaining the 3 and # buttons, plug in the printer.
    8. As soon as the lights turn on, release the buttons.

If the partial reset doesn't fix it, you will need to get a new printer.

  • All lights on screen Flash - Message - Please turn off the printer and turn it back on

I'm fighting a problem for a few weeks now with all the lights on the display starts flashing and the message please turn off the printer and turn it back on.   HP sent me a new printer that does the same thing.  The printer is an Officejet Pro 8600.  My computer is Windows 7.  I use a Belkin 750 db wireless router.  I talked to the service the customer several times with no results.  Did a hard reset of the printer, change the SSID of the router, because I think that one of my neighbors has the same router.  The thing most effective I did was change the channel to 6 which will operate for several hours until the display starts to Flash again.  Channels 1 & 11 starts blinking after a few minutes.  I know there are other people who have had the same problem.  I'm about to throw the thing in the trash.  My last printer brand X was set up the same way with no problems.  On the network, there are 2 iPads, smart TV, and an iPhone.  Need help please!

    Super Dave

Ethernet cable and connection with correction of the problem.  Its been 2 days and the printer worked perfectly.  Please pass this solution on your technical telephone support staff because I know that there are others with the same question.  Thanks for your help.

  • DeskJet f4280 on off flashing light and not cut or answer

My printer worked many years, but began with the printing of form elongated and defective.  I changed the color cartridge is low and printed an alignment page right after a few tries, and now when I try to scan the page to align cartridges buttons are frozen.  The button scan or resume will not respond and walk / stop light continues to blink.  What should do?

Looks like the printer is stuck in an error state.  Are there mistakes on the product or simply the lights flashing?

Have you tried a hard reset of the printer?

Unplug the unit when turned on

Disconnect the other end of the power cord to the power source

    * Wait 30 seconds

    * Plug the unit back to

For example, see the procedure described in the document for the inadmissible printers troubleshooting, found here.

If you get on the printer and it works, then there are also a document for issues of the cartridge.  The document can be accessed here.

  • C4680 flashing light and sound with Mac OS x 10.6.8 and USB connection

Printer and light beeps flashes when asked does not print.

When I opened the door of the cartridge, ink cartrideges will not move.

Power levels when I check in the printer utility are ok.

When I unplug to reset then reconnect to power, by flashing and beeping resumed. I unplug the night so I can sleep, and in the morning when I plug it, it beeps and flashes.

Have tried to reinstall the printer on the Mac OSX.6.8 OS. Always beeps and flashes.

When trying to print, get message the printer offline.

If I go to system preferences and open the print and fax, the printer finally hiccups, even if beeping, goes to the line and prints.

After 5 minutes, it starts to beep and flashes again.

I would appreciate ideas... I worked through this aqppears troubleshooting guide if I search "flashing lights" and printer just keeps beeping and flashing.

It looks like a hardware problem, I will consider the question more away, but if a sensor is damaged, then that could lead to these issues.

I would also like to check this site for possible updates:

  • I have flashing lights and impossible to turn on or off.

I have flashing lights and can't turn on or off.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi P a-t

I understand that you have lights flashing and the printer will not turn on or off.

I'd do a power reset to see if that will solve the problem. When the printer is still lit, disconnect the power cable to the back of the printer, if the printer has external power supply with a detachable power cord unplug for 15 seconds and reconnect it. Then, disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet. Wait 10 seconds and reconnect the power cable to the wall outlet first, then the back of the printer and turn on again.

Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector)

Please provide the following information so that I can better help you.

What operating system do you use?
Here is a document to your operating system Windows.

Here is a document to verify your operating system Mac.
