HP ProDesk 400 G1: Error updating Intel Graphics HD 4600

First Post. Hello, all.  For the last 5 days at the stop, I received, update 1, 1 to ensure that up-to-date driver "driver Intel Corporation update for Intel HD 4600 graphics card". It doesn't have every day. I did not notice problems during normal daily operation.  It is only to stop the 1, 1 update is attempted. I have not tried a manual request for a download assuming that it generates the same result. I have not updated to Windows 10 and have disabled the attempts to do so. Any suggestion is appreciated.

@Photon713, welcome to the forum.

I had this same problem recently with Win 10.  I have just go into Windows Update and remove the update.  He'll be back sooner or later and install, but in the meantime I don't get a request to install it.  This could give a try to see what is happening.

Please click on the button + Thumbs up if I helped you and click on accept as Solution If your problem is resolved.

  • HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC TS: Intel Graphics HD 4600 Driver

I upgraded this Windows Update 8.1 for Windows 10 notebook. The start menu, the edge browser, Metro Apps etc tabs turn dark when I move the mouse cursor and does not resume normal colors. The background and foreground is almost the same color, make the text invisible and useless apps. I finally have it isolated to the Intel driver. When I turn off the PC functions with the NVIDIA driver on the second graphics card. Of course, I would use the built-in HD 4600 graphics card adapter to save the battery. I did everything to find a working driver, but the latest driver on the HP site does not solve the problem and that Intel has no other driver available. Can you please help as Intel reminds me of HP? I couldn't find other drivers on the Microsoft web site.

So after some fiddling and in desperation I found a solution that works for me.

Open the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel and select 3D.

"Disable"Application Mode Optimal", I also changed" conservative morphological Anti-Aliasing "Application Enhance settings."

This solved all my problems although there are some fonts that are still a bit blurry, but nothing that bothers me.

  • Lenovo y510p enabling Intel Graphics HD 4600

    Hello world

Currently, I have twice the nVidia gt 755 m, working on the SLI. Although many of the games I play are incompatible with SLI and will heat op my laptop with poor performance. I couldn't disable my SLI to have some normal fps again, but since Skype and my mouse driver should be turned off whenever I want to turn it on or stop SLI isn't really my favorite option. I searched the forums and found out when you have twice the nvidia, the bios will automatically disable intel hd graphics. I would like to know if it is possible to turn on the intel hd graphics card, so I could run my desktop computer + programs that must be activated for the intel hd switching. I hope it would be possible to activate and that there will be no problem of power then to put on (3 graphics cards will have a power).

    Yours sincerely:

    -jcoenen

There is no way to turn on the iGPU intel when you have SLI card in your laptop. The only way you can use the iGPU intel is if you pull the ultrabay GPU out and run the laptop without it. Once you do that you can install the graphics drivers intel and you re - install the Nvidia driver and you should have access to settings that will allow you to switch between the iGPU and mono-GPU Nvidia optimus. Then, when you want to use SLI you can just re - insert the ultrabay GPU and it should automatically recognize and disable the iGPU in the process (you will need to enter into the setting of Nvidia and turning on SLI probably as well).

PS, there is no hack or patch that works around him, it is a limitation of optimus

  • Prodesk 400 G1 SFF: 400 Prodesk G1 SFF - update graphics card

    Hello world

I have an interesting problem that I hope you guys could help me with.

I have a Prodesk 400 G1 SFF and trying to update the graphics card integrated with a GeForce 210.

The thing is when I put the card into the slot, and then start the on-board computer and the new

    come into conflict.

It seems to begin completely on the windows login screen, but the only thing you can see is the slider (when you move
the mouse) on a black background. When I remove the new card, the computer starts and the screen works fine

I tried to install the GeForce 210 drivers without the card in the slot, but then I get an error message saying that the
material is not found and can not continue the installation.

I tried to insert the new card with windows started (I know, not a good idea) to see if the installation process
detects the card then, but I got the same message "hardware not found".

It seems that I'm pretty locked. I can't put the card into the slot, because then the screen does not work and I can't
install the drivers without the card because it must be inserted in order to ensure that it can be installed.

You guys have any suggestions on how to solve this problem or someone of you had similar experiences?

    Appreciate the help,

    Fredrik

You are the very welcome, Fredrik.

Yes, without the new card installed... First go in the bios, turn on legacy mode and disable secure boot.

HP video card will not work on any HP PC that comes with the W8 or newer of the factory, unless these BIOS settings are changed.

Normally the PC won't start not even with those setting enabled and a HP not installed video card.

Then, after changing these settings (without the new installed card), reboot the PC and go into windows, go to Device Manager, click to expand the category of device display maps, right-click on the Intel HD graphics card, select uninstall and check the box uninstall driver.

Do not restart requested.  Shut down the PC and install the video card.

Turn on the PC, hope it works, and then install the drivers.

If you encounter problems (which I doubt you want) you can always remove the graphics card, clear the CMOS which resets all parameters of the BIOS to default values.

Then reinstall the Intel graphics drivers.

  • Update on Thinkpad T420 Intel graphics card

    Hello!

I have a Thinkpad T420 with Windows 7. When I try to update my driver Intel Graphics HD (version 8.15.10.2538) than the Lenovo Web (version 9.17.10.3347) site, I get the error message "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."

Page Intel tells me that I have either the wrong driver (which should not be the question because I got from Lenovo driver support page) or the version of the OS (I advanced and tried both the 32 and 64 bit driver, nothing works) or that I don't have Intel graphics card (but I do).

Is my processor simply not taken in charge by the updated more? I have an Intel Core i5 - 2520M. Or does perhaps have problems with my NVIDIA graphics card?

  • HP ENVY 15-j101ex and the problem of compatibility with the Intel graphics driver update

    Hello community HP,

I got my brand new HP ENVY 15-j101ex for almost a month now and it works very well. I tried to play any of my games on it and after 20 minutes the laptop crashed. After searching the cause, it turns out that my Nividia Geforce and Intel Graphics driver have been exceeded. I updated the driver from Nividia and everything went well. However, whenever I have download the new driver for the Intel graphics card it is not updated and simply say that my computer does not meet the minimum requirements. I checked the name of the driver and I even used the center of the action on my computer that I warned that I needed to update my driver and he even gave me a link to download from, but the same error occurred.

Now, I can't play ang game without my computer crashing down. Everyone has faced this problem and does anyone have a solution?

    Thank you

    Ayman

If you want to install the drivers and got downloads provided by HP, and then use the HP Support Assistant.

Do not rely on the center of maintenance Windows for driver downloads recommendations.

Download the Intel HD graphics card is not necessary. It willl be usually used only for productivity software you install and web browsing.

  • Error 80070103 - Intel HD 4400 graphics driver

    Separated from this thread.

This update fails every day (same error) but it started as an optional update, now update the lists as a major (?).  I have tried different sections of MS Help, downloads (etc) looking for an update "Intel HD Graphics 4400 driver update for Windows 8.1" (he keeps taking me to Windows 10 information about download, & the "More information" link for this update takes me for a Virgin MS-Unit hardware support page that says "pilot information coming soon") (, which he said to ~ > 2 mos, now)... but I still just short in my own back to hunt me in circles.  I ran the MS Troubleshooter on Win Update, which Said it fixed a few errors, but doesn't understand well what has been "fixed". The dnld still fail ECode w/same... 80070103.

I tried to go to the website of Intel itself but for some God-only-knows-reason, even if I put the site in my list of "Trusted" & enable everything (even the non secure functions/EGP/downloads) IE11 won't let me "use" of the site * EXCEPT * I turn OFF Enhanced Protected Mode {EMP} to Trusted Sites... ! I found that turning off this "EPM" will allow many things/sites actually functions work (for example all msg writing functions on this page - usually, it don't will not let me highlight, bold or italic), instead of the entry-up IE & forcing me to re-start/retrieve the Web page, but I'm far from certain that way to use our computer , AND we have been unsuccessful, get a download from the Intel website in any case. (!??).

In any case, the version of the driver is currently 10.18.14.4264 as dated 04/08/2015 and our screen works well today so I don't feel as if we are in a 'imminent danger '. It would be good to know why * this update is not properly updated (.. .and why EPM causes functions all sites, even it's own *, does not work... but that's another problem [surprise]! ) though.

Sorry for the long, stretched 'me '. Guess I got a little carried away.

    Kind regards

    Zac

Is anyone else having the same problem?

    ME-SERVO

    He worked on the fix:

Re-installation of operating system was going to be my next step, but you have confirmed it.

After redo the partitions correctly with the free version of Paragon Partition Manager 10.0 and re - install XP DVD provided with resettlement twit drivers DVD provided the problem has been resolved.
    See you soon!

What I think happened was when I have crashed the Win 7 partition using the XP install process it did not correctly configured it.

There is a small free space before the partition on which I have installed and the partition cannot be marked as Active. The MBR boot record must getting screwed up. He also scored this partition as number 5 for example: Partition 5 (do not know if it was the cause of many) but after I erase all partitions and repair installation of MBR disks worked.

Advice to others when go back to Win XP:

When you roll back to XP using a 3rd party Partition Manager (preferably the last one coz old onse do not work)

Erase the entire hard drive including the HP_RECOVERY and HP_TOOLS partitions and create the partitions you need.

I used the free version of Paragon Partition Manager 10.0.

  • Firefox 5 is originally my Intel graphics driver (this is updated) crash - never had a problem with Firefox 2, 3 or 4.

After repeating intel graphics accelerator driver crashes - the screen goes black and it retrieves - get the small screen of error as it happened. Frequently. I did scans of driver and everything is up-to-date. Did not have this problem with firefox 4

You can simply turn off graphics acceleration temporarily until it's settled.

  • Satellite C660 - update Intel HD graphics card problem

    Hello

Sorry for my level of English, I'm French

I have a problem without a solution with my Satellite C660 (for the moment, I hope!) I downloaded the software google sketchup 8, dedicated to the development of architecture, but it does not work, I still got a bug message advising that it is necessary to update the graphics card drivers (according to google support it seems that OPENGL functions must be implemented in the drivers of my laptop)

So I downloaded the latest drivers available for the configuration I have (Intel HD graphics for pentium, 64-bit windows 7).

the link (french site, that Intel is not currently available, it is a document of .exe)

    http://www.Touslesdrivers.com/php/Constructeurs/TELECHARGEMENT.php?v_code=37057&v_langue=FR

I tried to update manually driver graphics card with Device Manager menu (graphics card > update drivers button > file.exe manual selection), but in the end, there is no update, I did that a very small message advising that windows has determined that the pilots are already updated.

In fact there is no change on the drivers (always the same date of the 2010-07-28 drivers in the properties of the graphics card) and sketchup is still unemployed

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

    What C660-xxx you have exactly?

If you have an Intel graphics card, you must download the driver directly on the Intel site.
There you should find the last version of driver

  • HP EliteBook 2570p: update the graphics drivers Intel HD 4000 in HP EliteBook 2570p

Hi, recently I downloaded a game and every time I have it tells me that my driver for my graphics (Intel HD 4000) is not updated. The game then begins to crash. I realized the graphics driver from HP is 2013 and that Intel has a newer driver from 2015. What I was wondering if it is safe to remove and uninstall the driver HP driver from Intel. In addition, exactly how would I go to do? By Device Manager uninstall, then install the Intel version?

Thank you very much in advance

    Hello

You can use the following method to update the Intel graphics drivers.

First, download the latest Intel HD4000 driver for your laptop on the link below and Save it in your downloads folder - you have the fourth option (IE win64_153343.4425.zip ).  Note:  If you want to install a different driver from Intel version, the method is always the same.

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/download/25977/Intel-graphics-driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-33-?product=81499

Once complete, download and install the .64bit version of 7 - Zip on the link below.

    http://www.7-zip.org/

When you have installed 7 - Zip, open your downloads folder, right-click on the win64_153343.4425.zip package, select 7 - Zip, select extract files and then click Ok.

Cut this folder newly extracted and paste it on your desktop, so it is easy to find.

When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R

In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

In Device Manager, expand adapters, right-click on the Intel 4000 device and select "Update Driver Software".

In the next window, select "my computer for software driver Browser", then "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

In the next window, click on the 'Disk' button and then find the extracted folder of win64_153343.4425 Intel you pasted on your desktop.

Navigate the graphics subfolder, left click on the file igdlh64. INF to highlight, and then click Open.

Click 'Ok' and then click 'Next' and wait for the driver to install.

One when you're done, click on 'Close' and then click 'Yes' to restart the laptop.

    Kind regards
