HP SilentPatch_Wnd5370c
I upgraded my printer all-in-One of 7300 to 8600 all-in-One. But just before I Shutdown Windows XP, SP3, a message appears indicating that a file has not been closed. It's HPSilentPatch_Wnd5370c.
I did some research and it seems to be a file rest of the 7300 scanner. Although I made all former startup HP related files have been disabled in MSCONFIG, this file remains a boring.
Where is it so I can remove it? Or y at - it a registry key that can be changed to keep this file to appear on shutdown?
Thank you for your help.
I thought I would send you an update on this topic. The problem was solved!
Ashampoo Startup Tuner is a free software that detects all programs in your startup folder and shows what they are for. It was easy to see the 5370c file. It was listed as sj666. Previously, I suspect it was an update to the 7310 and was associated with the 5370c file. I deleted it.
Now, go, and a message is not pop up thereon to the stop.
The solution has been a long time coming, but it was quick and easy to fix in this format.
