Just because you did with 10g does not mean that you will be able to do it with 11g.

I assume that by 'path' you mean 'patch '.

in this case, we first of all install the path that has jre, after that, we run runistaller for the flexible database.
so pls tell me which path we need for the same thing.

  • Windows Update, on new installation 0x8024400A error

Did a clean install on my computer. Windows Update keeps on giving 0x8024400A error code. Tried to reinstall my new system... even get the same error with this message... "The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. "

Thought that maybe... that the site of Microsoft might have some problems.

I've done several installs clean over the years with this computer... never a problem until today.

A lot of research for answers, but no luck. The program Fix - IT that microsoft offers do not work... says I need service pack 3. I have SP2 and am unable to upgrade to service pack 3 or anything else besides. No third party anti spyware or antivirus running my computer... date and time are correct. Running XP Home Edition on my laptop. There, someone has an idea what is happening. Thanks for any help... DG

After a clean install on my computer... I found that Windows Update will not work correctly. I kept getting a0X8024400A error code... .along with this message... "The website has encountered a problem and can not display the page you are trying to show."

    I found the solution here...

Agent utliliy hasa of Microsoft that corrects the Wups2.dll file. Download and run the Windows Update Agent that is correct for your system.

Copied and pasted from the link above...

    CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Wups2.dll file included in the latest version of Windows Update is not installed correctly.

For scenario 1, the registry entries that correspond to the Wups2.dll file are missing after installing Windows XP repair. The final version of Windows XP does not contain the Windows Update software.

For scenario 2, the registry entries that correspond to Windows Update are changed back to the Windows XP SP2 version if you do not restart the computer before you install Windows XP SP3. The registry entries for the Wups2.dll file are changed by pointing to the c:\windows\system32\wups.dll file that is included in the final version of Windows XP SP2.

Resolution 3: Close or disable any applications that may be running, restart the computer and then install the service pack

Click here to show or hide detailed information

Important These steps may increase your security risk. These steps may also make the computer or the network more vulnerable to attack from malicious users or malicious software such as viruses. We recommend the process that this article describes to enable programs to operate as they are designed for, or to implement specific program features. Before you make these changes, we recommend that you evaluate the risks that are associated with implementing this process in your particular environment. If you decide to implement this process, take additional measures to protect the system. We recommend that you use this process only if you really need this process.

During installation, one of the most frequent causes of failure occurs when a third-party application holds open a file or locks a file that the service pack installer should use. For example, an application third-party antivirus or antispyware may cause this problem. To minimize this risk, follow these steps:

    1. close all applications and restart your computer.

    2. Once your computer has restarted, disable any antivirus or any antispyware application that can load during the startup process. You can normally disable the notification area application. This area is located in the bottom right corner of the computer screen. To disable an application in the notification area, follow these steps:

    a. right-click on the icon of the third-party program.

    b. click Close, disable, outputor an equivalent term in the list of options. If these options are not available, you may open the application and then close or disable in the application.

    3. as soon as you close the antivirus or the antispyware software, try to click here to install the download package full of the service pack that you previously downloaded from the following Microsoft Download Center Web site.

    4. After completing the installation of the service pack, enable the antivirus or the antispyware software that you disabled in the previous steps.

If your problem is still not resolved, you can try the steps of troubleshooting on your own, or you can contact Microsoft technical support.

Resolution 4: Uninstall security applications, restart the computer and then install the service pack

Click here to show or hide detailed information

Important These steps may increase your security risk. These steps may also make the computer or the network more vulnerable to attack from malicious users or malicious software such as viruses. Before you make these changes, we recommend that you evaluate the risks that are associated with implementing this process in your particular environment. If you decide to implement this process, take additional measures to protect the system. We recommend that you use this process only if you really need this process.

A third-party security application (for example, an antivirus application, a firewall, or antispyware software) can still be causing the installation fails, even though you tried to disable the application. The Windows Vista SP1 installation requires several restarts of the computer, and the security application may be reload after the first reboot. Applications that provide registry repair features may also cause the installation to fail.

You can uninstall your third-party security application before you install the service pack. However, you should do this only if you are positive that you can reinstall the application as soon as the service pack installation is complete. To reinstall the third-party security application, you'll need either the original installation media for the application, or you need the original download. You may also need a product key to reinstall the third-party security application.

If you are sure that you can reinstall the third-party application, uninstall the application from the programs and features item in Control Panel. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. close all applications and restart your computer.

    2. Once your computer has restarted, click Start

    Collapse this includes this image

    .

    3. in the find what box, type programs.

    4. click on programs and features.

    5. click on the name of the security program that you want to uninstall.

    6. click on Uninstall.

    7. After you have uninstalled the program, restart the computer.

    8. try to click here to install the download package full of the service pack that you previously downloaded from the following Microsoft Download Center Web site.
Note You have uninstalled your security software, and your computer is more vulnerable to attack by malicious users or by malicious software such as viruses. We recommend that you do not surf the Web, use e-mail, or use instant messaging, up to what you have done to solve the problem, and you have reinstalled your security software.

    9. After completing the installation of Windows Vista SP1, reinstall the security program that you uninstalled in the previous steps.

    * All of these resolutions were conducted, but still having trouble running SP1 & SP2. It's a problem of installation and after the installation of Service packs 1 & 2 times. I have a SYSTEM of 32-bit operating systems. KB947821 analytical TOOL has also been installed!, by following the instructions in res 2. Security / Antivirus has also been disabled in accordance with the instructions of res 3 & 4. Service packs Download but will not work!

Please see the installation log files because "RW-50015" is a generic error. This error is mainly due to lack of packages of OS pre - req., so please check that you have installed everything according to the instructions (Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and upgrade 12 Release Notes (12.1.1) for HP - UX Itanium [762891.1 ID]).

In addition, please see these docs.

  • Need to install libraries ADF 11 G on HP Itanium box

This Blog shows how to install the ADF with JDeveloper 11g libraries
    http://Biemond.blogspot.com/2008/11/Installing-ADF-11g-runtime-on-WebLogic.html

It's is not a version of HP Itanium of JDeveloper available.
    http://www.Oracle.com/technology/software/products/jdev/htdocs/soft11.html

How can we get the ADF 11 G installed on WebLogic libraries to support our application?

    Edited by: dhildreth, 1 Sep 2009 05:40

You can use the basic installation (the jar version). It must run on your platform. Make sure you have a JDK installed before launching the jar.

  • Jul - 09 CPU installation - error could not copy file "libjox10.so" to

Hi all, I received this error while I was installing the last CPU on a 10.2.0.4 Instance Oracle running on a system of HP - UX Itanium:

    Patch 8568398 :
Copy action: Desctination File "/ u02/app/oracle/product/10.2/Db_1/lib/libjox10.so" is not writable.
    'oracle.rdbms, 10.2.0.4.0': failed to copy file 'libjox10.so' in ' / u02/app/oracle/product/10.2/Db_1/lib/libjox10.so'

I checked metalink' site not found similar results.

    Could someone help me?

Should I run/usr/sbin/slibclean and remove the last patch (Patch 8568398) and try again?

    It's the full changelog...

    1. There is no.
    2. the permissions are not set correctly.
