HP Web site is as slow as Molassas. Is this Normal?

I want to get a driver for a monitor ZR24w, and everything I try to do on the HP site is as slow as mollasses.    To load a single page takes about 2-5 minutes.

Is this normal?

And even after entering/verification of the SN of the monitor, I don't get the driver.

I received the message:

"The service or the information requested is not available at this time. Please try again later. »

Tom, welcome to the forum.

The HP Web site works fine for me.

Here is ther driver page for the monitor.

Please click on "BRAVO", if I helped you and click on "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

A PDF file is like any other file that you can use on a web site. You can set up a link to the pdf file once you download the PDF file on a site. I heard on the GoDaddy, but really don't know anything about. Your question relates to the use of this site, not PDF as such. More details to help us on how to use on a web site.

  • HP Solution Center is very slow to load - is this normal?

HP Solution Center usually takes about 4-5 minutes to load on my system. My system is an Intel Quad Q8200, Vista SP1, 6 GB memory, C; is 684 GB with 514 GB free. My printer is an all-in-one OfficeJet J6450 and I use 802.11 wireless connection. Just today, I was finally able to install successfully all the HP updates. Previous attempts in the past 6 months resulted in errors "unable to install".

This seems extremely slow. I would appreciate any other experience with this software.

It is an update more than a year later. HP Solution Center load now in about 5 seconds. In addition, updates now install successfully. I don't know why everything is better now. Maybe update fixed a few problems with my system.

  • Images randomly on Web sites will get damaged.

I have a weird problem with Firefox. Sometimes the images that I am posting on Web sites will be damaged. The image will look like it has been cut and it is sometimes completely black. This applies to the origins of the site, images on the Web sites of social media, profile and just pictures. Imagine a web page that uses two images and 1.jpg , 2.jpg. 1. jpg is an image of, let's say the logo of Firefox and 2.jpg is a smiling face. 1. jpg is corrupt, so it looks something like this: http://s17.postimg.org/wtm9ndlpb/firefox_logo.png 2.jpg isn't, it looks like a normal smiley face. The Firefox logo is used as a profile picture of someone, and the person has posted several comments. Profile photo, next to each comment, they have done will look like that. Right-click on the image and the consultation at its source will display the same thing. Now, this could be a problem with the site, but I know that it is not because that the clearing the cache and refresh the page causes the image to load correctly. The problem occurs on many Web sites, and refresh the page without emptying the cache will not fix it. Another example of this problem: pretend that a logo of Firefox is stored at https://www.mozilla.org/images/firefox.png. Two Web sites, for example, Google and Yahoo, put this image somewhere on their Web site. If the https://www.mozilla.org/images/firefox.png image is corrupted on my computer, it will be corrupted on Google and Yahoo, too. Can someone help me with this problem?

This may be a problem with the graphic display driver or hardware acceleration.

  • IE browser OK on my Web site (MS Expression Web)... of the internal hyperlinks OK... but using the links in firefox on only the first page (default.htm) key doesn't work.

Doesn't work on the url below the single page, in part, is not on the website... buttons on top. Internal hyperlinks do not work in Firefox, so that they do it in IE. There are other hypertext links on this page, not attached to a button, which works. (Buttons on other pages in the Web site are work.) It is just this defualt.htm a page presenting the problem.) The program used for the Web site is Microsoft Expression Web first version upgrade of MS FrontPage.

The row of blue buttons? For some strange reason, MS Expression Web is superimposing an empty table in front of the table that contains the buttons. IE allows you to click on a transparent element but Firefox does not work, if you find yourself clicking on the useless empty table.

In your editor, place in the HTML mode and search for layer47. This is a < div > element that contains an image. It is followed by a < table > that has the same number of cells as the table with buttons, but in this table all the white cells. Delete this table, record and retest.

  • Select a Web site in the address bar doesn't automatically loads the page.

I've updated today (14/02/2012) v 10.0.1. Previously, when I used the 'arrow' in the address bar to select a Web site, the browser would automatically go to this site. This is no longer the case.

This problem may be caused by the AVG Safe Search extension

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

    Hello JesusVigo,

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.

Have you tried to use the disk of Windows XP, or Windows Update running default drivers to search for best driver for your sound card?

Also, I found only 1 driver on your system gateway Web site is located here.

  • Cannot access a Web site, but can ping IP addresses on the internet

-With the help of Vista SP2 64-bit on laptop faulty.

-Number of computers on the same network have access to the internet.

-Tried several network interfaces on this laptop, but no luck for access to the network, wired or wireless

-From this notebook, I can ping addresses Internet IP so the problem seems to be the side DNS.

-Flushing DNS cache and reset the network interface.

    -Rebooted several times.

    What did I miss?

    Thanks in advance

    Hey easternguy,.

Check if you can test the Web site by name.

    To do this:

    a. Click Start and type cmd.

    b. press ENTER.

    c. type the following command:

    ping hostname

Ping uses name resolution to resolve a computer by IP address name. Therefore, if you successfully ping the IP address but you cannot ping a computer name, there is a problem with host name resolution, and no network connectivity.

Case 1: If you can not ping the Web site using its address, follow these steps.

In this case, try changing your host file.

In the C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc Hosts files may be damaged or corrupted.

Review the contents of your HOSTS file and compare it to the screenshot below. There is no need to worry about any line that starts with a # is ignored by Windows. In addition, the line "127.0.0.1 localhost" can be ignored without risk, because it is a standard input.

Everything that appears in your HOSTS file without a # earlier this year, aside from the "127.0.0.1 localhost" line, should be regarded with suspicion when we try to diagnose the cause of the problem. The fastest way to test the involvement of HOSTS file is to just rename the host file. By changing the name of the HOSTS file, prevent us Internet Explorer to use it and so all problems caused by the file.

    Case 2:

If you can ping external websites by IP address and name, but can't browse the web, probably your browser is misconfigured.

Check that you do not have an incorrect Proxy Server affected necessary or not.

For Internet Explorer, follow these steps.

    a. open Internet Explorer.

    b. go to Tools / Internet Options.

    c. click on the Connections tab.

    d. click the LAN Settings button.

"e. uncheck both" "automatically detect settings" and "use a proxy server for your LAN '.

    This should be it.

    Kind regards

Please be so kind to give me a solution for this issue.

You can use a browserfield to display web content in your application.  Take a look at the browserfielddemo provided with the BlackBerry JDE for example

If you ask how to connect to a web site, please see the httpdemo.

This example shows how to create a scrolling image field.

  • How to open a PDF from another Web site?

I'm trying to use Adobe to fill out a job application. They said that safari could not and I need to get the latest version that I did, but now when I go on the web site it just continues to show me this message. How to open a PDF from another site?

Right-click on the link to the pdf file, save it on your computer, open it from the inside Reader using file > open.
