  Hello, I just bought a new laptop and I uninstalled the Windows 8 and installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Edition. After you download the new bios and the network drivers, I was able to install all my other drivers except for my "PCI Device" driver. I went and downloaded all the drivers on the support page of drivers, but nothing seems to get rid of this driver to be installed. I even tried to go and use the button "update driver software" that I did a right click on the driver. I was wondering if someone could help me find the driver download I'm looking for. Thank you!

  It won't be easy. As far as I know W98 driver may not work properly with W2000. W2000 is not supported for this series of laptop. Have you already tried to install the modem using the standard driver? In install new modem under Select manufacturer types of modems Standard and modems select a standard modem with good speed please.

  I've been clean installation Win 7 32 bit on a Toshiba Tecra M9 and thereafter, all drivers.

  Now in the Device Manager it is still an unidentified device called "Communications controller PCI (single)", with several starting hardware ID by "PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_2A04 &.

  I can't identify what device it is, I searched for hours and a lot of people seem to have this problem. Everything works, except that a Campbell Scientific device (USB adapter to an owner interface) does not work and I fear that this could be the cause.
