  I've updated the BIOS and the properties of the system sees the HD. But it is not visible in my computer. I can eject the hard drive when it is connected to my external SATA - same issue, says computer system sound player here, but does not appear in my computer.

  I did all that and the computer gives me only access to 750Go, then to 1.3. The last 750Go the computer, I cannot access. Yet once, it shows me that he is there as unallocated space, but I can't do anything with it.

  I learned today that Acer Vista 32 bit Home Premium will only 2 TB HD. The individual suggested to upgrade the 64-bit operating system and I should be able to access the full 3 TB at that time here. He said that my product key would be transferable from 32 to 64-bit. Your model only supports SATA 3 Gb/s speeds due to the controller, so don't waste your money on more expensive discs of 6 G or 6 Gbps because they work faster than a car of 3 G. If you decide on a 6 GB drive, however, they must be compatible as they work on the slower bus of 3G.
