HTML to PDF-> how to optimize images?

I open a file with Acrobat X Pro HTML, it works in general, but the images (.jpg / looks fine in HTML) have a very poor quality. I could not find the settings for the optimization of the quality.

You can check the preferences for you make that you use anti-aliasing for the display. You can also try to export all Images and look at the images to see if they are what you expect, or resolution has been lost. You can try a different settings file, generally press or print.

  • How to optimize PDF files for mobile phones?

I am wanting to offer a white paper downloadable report on mobile devices, but do not know how to optimize PDF files so that they:

    1. download quickly

    2 are easy to navigate

3 display correctly without having to enlarge and scroll left and right

I know it's doable because my HTC Desire came with a few classic, easily installed PDF eBooks on it. Stories like "Dracula" and a "Tale of Two Cities' etc.

Dave has mentioned very good points to optimize the PDF for mobile devices. Its very easy to do using Acrobat. You can read more here: (I don't know the version that you are, then I'll try to include links for Acrobat 9 and X)

Optimizing PDF (learn how to reduce the size, remove embedding fonts, delete unnecessary data, etc.)

In addition to this, here are my recommendations:

    Conversion process:

To create smaller PDF, I'd say this plan from the beginning. As Dave mentioned - the smaller size PDF, you can select this joboption in the conversion dialog box (if you have the original word etc.which document that you create a PDF from). This will automatically make maximum part of the work for you. So, try to keep the smaller size since the beginning of the PDF creation will not give you a lot of trouble later.

    Images:

You can also create some small thumnails of images and insert them into the original document before conversion. not resize in the document because it still contains the size of the original. Try to compress or resize them outside the document and then finally insert.

For example: If the image is 640 x 480 and you want only 50 x 50 in the PDF document. Try to resize using some applications like Adobe Photoshop or MS Office Manager pictures (comes in suite MS Office) or a lot of apps available for free online. then, finally, insert them into the document. If you resize them in the document itself, they will always be containing the size of the original.

Alongside this, try downsampling images at 72 dpi (using optimization PDF Acrobat) and use images poster rather than the videos. These images can having links pointed out the videos on the website.

    PDF size:

Try to keep the size PDF between 1-2 MBs.

  • HTML conversion to PDF (how to change or remove the automatic header/footer)?

    Hi all

I'll start with the positive. Function "Convert to Adobe PDF format" Adobe works wonders for HTML to PDF. In fact, even with all the embedded HTML 5 CSS, conversion perfectly renders the HTML code! I'm so impressed!

    __UPLOAD.png

But I have a little problem I just solve.

Adobe automatically inserts a header and a footer. The header is not really a problem, but it would be nice to customize. This is the footer that really needs to change. The automatic footer is an unsightly long text that includes the path and the full name and data and the time of the conversion. Is it possible to customize and simply remove it when converting. It is a document of page 41, so I will not manually change the header and footer. Ideally, I would like Adobe to change the header/footer when converting... because I have to eventually automate the conversion and avoid any post-editing.

    Thank you for your advice.

I need to create a PDF from a 'how to' doc html, I created (which has associated graphic files in the folder my documents on my computer). How to make a simple pdf - with the included images - it is opened in the browser? Online I've seen suggestions click file - print to PDF, but I don't have that option in my browser

The option "select the file" in Acrobat does not give an option to html file.

Nothing happened to your files. The association for PDF files is messed up, or is the icon cache.

    1. Click round Windows logo in the taskbar and choose default programs.
    2. Click "associate any type of file or Protocol with a program.
    3. Select PDF from the list, then click on change program button.
    4. Choose the program that you want to manage PDF files. By clicking on the files PDF in Windows Explorer or the desktop then open them in this application.

To clear the cache of the icon, see the directions to

As far as I know, Firefox does not have PDF files somehow. There is a proposal to associate files PDF in Firefox when they are not already associated with an application, but has not been implemented to date (bug 787674).

  • HTML to PDF

Does anyone know how to convert a report LV-created HTML to PDF? It would have to work in V 8.5

My problem seems to be with HTML. PDFCreator works very well with other formats but not HTML. Thanks in advance.

If I remember correctly corre PDFCreator works very well with HTML files, but instead use the Document.Open function you use something like URL. Opened.  I have installed it yet so I'm not 100% sure on the names of methods.

  • How to insert images as .jpg... gif attach file in email without any accessories

    Hi, this is Terry

I would to know how to insert images on the part of email without an attachmenk.

    Thank you

    Tanveer Rauf

An inserted picture is an attachment.  The embedded image is sent as an attachment and then it is returned in the message in an HTML message, but it is still an attachment to the message.

In Outlook Express, you can embed a picture compose a new message in HTML then using Insert | Photo.  Who will integrate the image in the email, but it always comes as an image as an attachment.  It's just the way OE manages which shows as embedded.

Alternatively, you can just link to an image by referencing a URL to the image on a website and this way no image will actually be embedded or attached.

  • Ask for advice on how to optimize a website that loads slowly in the browser?

My site works fine when I saw Muse or choose to view the site in the browser, but when I publish the BC site loads very slowly, even after optimizing file sizes & minimizing the use of the widget.  Online site is: http://www.northernharvest.com.au love thoughts or tips on how to optimize?  See you soon

As long as you decide to use exorbitant oversized images in quantities that , you will have no chance to achieve faster load times!

The images are much, much more then really necessary. Reduce their size to the dimensions in pixels, you really need them in your layout and minimize the size of the file by using a higher JPG compression.

This is a simple "retractable" solution If it is not enough, you need to get your own website and know enough HTML to integrate product LR web galleries inside.

  • HTML in PDF format ready to print with the CMYK color conversion

How can I convert a webpage (html) as a PDF ready to print, including a RGB to CMYK conversion?

I use a free trial of Acrobat DC. What I tried, is to use the browser button to convert HTML to PDF. I then open the document and go to the menu "Print Production. I expected to find the option "Convert colors", but he's not here. Help documentation indicates that this option is available only if you export your PDF file to a device "high-end". What is a high-end device? I use my laptop.

    (1) under the Production of printing tools, in the right pane, you will find the convert colors tool. That's what you're looking for. Its availability has nothing to do with what type of device you send the PDF file.

    (2) that said, converting the PDF to CMYK color space is not necessarily required to print. You certainly can print an RGB and/or the PDF to grayscale for a local or network PostScript laser printer, for example. What makes you think that you absolutely need CMYK for printing any other type? Each RIP/DFE these days can directly manipulate the RGB content.
