HTML5 does not not within player Oracle LMS

I use Adobe Captivate 8.1 to develop sensitive (HTML5) courses and publication on Oracle EBS LMS 12.1.

I can see the course at IE11 browser without problem (with verified compatibility view).

But when running courses in the LMS (Oracle LMS) drive I get the following error:

"The content you are trying to view is not supported in the current Mode of Internet Explorer Document. Change the Document Mode on Internet Explorer 9 standards and try to view the content again. To change the Document Mode, press F12, click on Document Mode:, and then select Internet Explorer 9 standards. "

Verified settings compatibility mode is the default for all users of our IT, and we cannot change it.

I tried all modes of document of F12. did not help.

I tried to add the following to the index_SCORM.html header (first line meta), but that didn't work either:

< meta http-equiv = "X-UA-Compatible" content = "IE = EDGE" / >

This line supposed to override the default setting of the browser to display compatible and let the browser act like IE11 (later).

but I guess that since OLM player is a frame based player it does not allow the substitution.

Can anyone help?  I need of course HTML5 on OLM.

After a tedious search and Discovery mission, I found the following solutions:

1. do not user the player PROTEUS to run the course, use rather a popup window that directs the user to another window where HTML5 is supported. Here, the obstacle is to keep track with the LMS.

2 - upgrade your OLM Oracle 12.2.4 which supports HTML5.

Interaction with the rendering plugin 5.0 of APEX generates hundreds of errors in JavaScript (check the browser console) of the jquery.ui.sortable.min.js library included with the plug-in, indicating an incompatibility with versions 5.0 of the APEX of the other libraries.

The plugin code includes a comment about this library:

-- note: this file is also found in /i/libraries/jquery-ui/1.8.22/ui/minified/ but is not included by default by Apex
      apex_javascript.add_library (
        p_name      => 'jquery.ui.sortable.min',
        p_directory => p_plugin.file_prefix);

APEX 5.0 is a newer version of the library of /i/libraries/jquery-ui/1.10.4/ui/minified/jquery.ui.sortable.min.js and the plugin works when it is used with it.

Go to the components shared > Plug-ins > PivotTable, delete the original jquery.ui.sortable.min.js of the files section and download the 1.10.4 version instead.

    Hello

    Thank you

Make sure that you can launch the java console in Control Panel of-> Java. It is the fundamental step to work before going any further.

and also once the java console is open, check the following:

'Show the java console' - enabled

"Activate Next genration java plugin" - disabled.

  • HTML5 does not run a tip action?

I'm having a problem with HTML5 does not appear when I preview the project normally. I have 2 variables which I am tracking. I use them to generate a 'meter' on the slide to get back to the user. When the user makes a choice on the slide, I use an Action shared to increment or decrement the variable. Then I have a tip Action that performs a conditional action on enter displays the correct counter and mask incorrect counters. Then he stops to the slide.

Here's my problem: it works perfectly when I use the normal preview. However, it does not work when I Preview in HTML5. I decided that if a variable is zero or less, then the advanced action fails to run. So my meters do not respond correctly and the slide break.

As it works in normal preview, I guess my logic is written correctly.

    Any help?

Captivate cannot recognize numbers below zero, it's the only advice I can give you a negative number is converted into a positive (-2 will become 2), has nothing to do with the output format. Zero itself is considered the same as an empty variable.

  • WITH query Clause does not work in Oracle reports.

    Hi gurus,

I use a query WITH clause and want to create a report by using the same query.

But when I am trying to build a report, request gives error like "WITH clause table or view does not exist.

But the same query works perfectly in line of sql.

Does support the Oracle WITH clause query reports?

    Please suggest.

    Thank you
    Onkar

I met a similar problem before and worked around it by moving the query to a pipeline function in the database as described in the unexpected CLAUSE causes ORA-00942 in Report Builder

    I hope this helps.

  • Adobe Uninstaller not removing does not Flash Player

I used the program to uninstall Flash Player for Mac 10.6.8

restart, go to the folders to remove plug-ins, only to find cache, so delete it.

Go to the page status of the Flash and he says I still have installed 11.2.202.228.

Run the uninstaller again, same thing.

Okay, so it's not related to Flash.  You seem to have a problem with the HTML5 in YouTube Player and I would recommend ad more YouTubeforums.

  • Application example "Articles" does not start on Oracle WebCenter Sites Jump Start Kit with Tomcat

    Hello

I'm new to the Oracle WebCenter Sites platform and I followed step by step documentation at this link: http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E29542_01/doc.1111/e29634/wemlaunchingsampleapp.htm

I am trying to install the sample application named "Articles" as indicated in the link. After that, I compiled the application, I move the .war file on the following path: "C:\Oracle\App_Server\apache-tomcat-7.0.42\Sites\webapps".

Then I stop the Application Server and then restart it. It creates the new folder in the folder webapps ' Articles - 1.0 ", but when I try to go to the localhost:9180/Articles-1.0/install.app link as mentioned in the documentation it gives me"HTTP 404 "status.

If I go to Tomcat Web Application Manager he said that items - 1.0 is not started, and if I try to start it again it told me: 'FAIL - Application to the context items - 1.0 path not could be started.

That's what it says in the catalina from the application log file:

    Hi SergStone

Google was planning to depreciate the NPAPI plugin for quite some time. According to this post chrome Blog: The Final Countdown for NPAPI NPAPI plugins will be disabled by default in April 2015.  This post contains instructions on disabling default plugin for substitution.  If you have the latest version of Chrome (42) it's probably why you don't see it there. More info here deprecation NPAPI: developer - The chrome project guide and if you do a search on the internet for "chrome npapi" you will get a lot more information on this.

  • Out of HTML5 does not

    Hi all

Using Captivate 7. Looking for help on why I get this randomly with some of my projects. The power of the flash works fine. So when I'm in captivate and press f12, no problem, but if I hit f11, the spinner just goes round. The problem occurs in IE and Chrome. (see attachments). The only way I found to remedy this day is to copy all the slides from the damaged project and paste them into a new project empty. THS, then works fine, which indicates it is not not a problem with the slides. Its really annoying to have to go and reset all interactions of the ID and the parameters of project such as reports every time it happens. (Seems to happen on average once a week)

I also deleted the cache (General settings-> project cahce - > clear the cache), and it did not help

Looking at the error, it appears that its something internal.

All of the ideas that people have had of love.

    Thank you

    Luke

    ChromeError.png

    Edit *.

OK, so now, the next project that I opened also has the same problem, but with a different error

Other projects are always ok, so this isn't a problem with the pc or installation, as far as I can tell

    ieerror2.png

As another thing to look at if you have similar problems, I found that if I have a '-' in an interaction ID slide - déposer also, it failed with the error in the console of:

    SyntaxError: Expected ':'

    b (http://localhost:51210/HTML5Temp5776550982271Pre/assets/js/CPXHRLoader.js:36:369)

    anonymous function (http://localhost:51210/HTML5Temp5776550982271Pre/assets/js/CPXHRLoader.js:37:45)

    SCRIPT5009: 'cp' is undefined

    File: index.html, line: 17 column: 3

However no problem when you use the output swf, just out of html5

  • Does not start under Oracle Developer Suite 10 g YES

Hallo! I am a newbie in Oracle 10g. I try to install Oracle Developer Suite 10 g for Windows XP in an old PC with the basic specifications following
    Processor Pentium 4 2 GHz
    512 MB OF RAM
    HARD DRIVE 40 GB

I tried to run setup.exe, a dialog box appears as below
    From Oracle Universal Installer...

The setup.exe crash dialog box appears indicating that setup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I managed the Developer Suite 10 g in a higher - end laptop. From the dialog box above, I assumed that met all the requirements of the installation program. So why can't the YES will be launched?

    Please help me.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Can be 512 MB of RAM is small, try to increase your RAM

Another issue can cause this problem, do not put the developer suite in a long journey (i.e.------...-...-..-), try the source directory to the root of your drive.

  • After replacement of the VO, "any document" does not begin with "/ oracle.

    Hi all

I recently tried a substitution of VO and executing the command import into command prompt, see it the following:

    C:\ > C:\p9879989_R12_GENERIC\jdevbin\oaext\bin\JPXIMPORT C:\p9879989_R12_GENERIC\jdevhome\jdev\myclasses\psu.jpx - apps-password appsdev2 username - dbconnection ' (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST=oradbdevsna01f.mascorp.com) (PORT = 1521)) (CONNECT_DATA = (SID = DEV2))) ".

    Any document: / icx/por/wf/server/customizations/site/0/ReqLinesNotificationsVO
    Import completed successfully

In Jdeveloper, I did ensure that the substitution I do is oracle/apps/icx/por/wf/Server/ReqLinesNotificationsVO with the new VO scope: xxmas/oracle/apps/icx/por/wf/Server/XXMASReqLinesNotificationsVO

If correct any Document as mentioned above, he should always start with "/ oracle/apps/icx/por/wf/Server/customizations/site/0/ReqLinesNotificationsVO. Can anyone explain it please my why it happens? Your response is greatly appreciated

    Thank you
    Anand

    Some general troubleshooting tips:

    1. open the jpx under my projects with Notepad and check if the paths are generated correctly.
    2. check your project settings and substituions once more.
    3. restart jdeveloper and then double-checking the substitutions.
4 make sure to save all the files once you create replace and before importing.

    Thank you

  • Does not start player BDP - BX58 Blu - ray * top of page menu screen more

Sony unit works very well for about a year now.   Nothing has changed on this end - but - now when I turn on the drive blu - ray I see on HDTV: logo 1) Sony blu ray then) 2 wave horizontal blu and 3) a black screen.

Instead of 3)-I use to get the * top of page menu * screen for slecting an dvd, browser, etc.

I noticed that when the device is in step 3) connected to my ethernet (blue light on the power switch of the internet is fixed).    So, I guess that the DVD player is having trouble finding something on the Internet (?).

At this point, I can't play any DVD - the screen remains black.

The unit is connected to a SONY AV box.    What is strange, is that nothing has been changed (?)    The latest firmware changes have been installed more than 6 mos ago.

    Help, please.

solved problem today ' hui - connected hdmi blu - ray box AV Player cable was loose in box AV.   cable just guaranteed and everything is back to normal.  Thank you all for taking a peek.

    Hello DavebTD,

Thanks for your post.  Remember that Windows Update requires the use of Internet Explorer.  You try to access the Windows Update with Firefox page?  We can't wait to hear back on your part.
