  Right click on a .xls file and choose open with > choose default program. Then click Browse.

  Here is an office folder. Office12 for Office 2007 and Office14 for Office 2010. Go in the right folder and thin Excel.exe.

  Hi all! When I installed first SmartView, everything was ok - menu item "Hyperion" appeared in Excel and I have established the connection to planning and has worked with the data in Excel with success. Then, once I got to select all the data passing through Ctrl + A, in the form of data open in Excel and tried to copy it to a different worksheet in the same workbook, Excel threw a message about a serious error and informed me that the add-on of Hyperion would disappear. So it has been removed actually. When I reinstall Smart view, the installation went well but the menu item "Hyperion" did not appear in Excel again. I tried to reinstall Excel both SmartView and restarted the system several times, but still the Hyperion menu item does not appear in Excel. Can someone me hint on how to solve this problem?   I installed customer 11.1.2 Essbase and Spreadsheet Add-Ins 11.1.2 successfully.
  
  After that, I opened MS Excel 2007.
  
  I can able to display the add-ins tab.
  
  Then I tried to connect to Excel with essbase through the next step
  
  -> Add-ins-> Essbase-> connect
  
  I get no popup window inorder to enter the admin username and password. I'm on 64-bit Windows server 2008 and by using MS Excel 2007 32-bit.
  
  Both the s/w have been installed by using the administrator account that the Addin is active and not disabled in Excel Options. I read the related issues and proposed resolutions triggered on this before, but nothing helped.
  
  Can someone let me know anything that I'm missing that could be the cause.

  The "import" tab appears only when the iPhone is connected to the Mac via a USB port.

  The morphs of button tab depending on where you place it. In the tab bar, it is a large Plus sign ('+'). in an another toolbar, this is a black silhouette tab file with a white sign. If you have tabs on the top you have to be careful where you place - try the far right of the tab bar, or if you have a button close the simple tab on the far right, you can place the new tab button just to the left of the button to close the tab.

  In the new FireFox 4 Fox sync is built in. I have everything set up and sync my history and everything, but tabs on other computers does not appear in the history with the orange button at the top left.

  It appears only when you have the menu bar displayed under history. This should really be added to the default menu.

  I do not see the importer of CT in the COM add-ins, but the VBA ran very well...

  This occurs if the file desktop.ini in the recent folder is deleted.

  a. Click Start, type "% AppData%\Microsoft\Windows" and press {ENTER}

• Windows 8 can't find my SATA drive (2). It does not appear in disk management, but it appear when I open the tab of properties on any drive and click displays all disks. What should do?

  I bought a new computer (custom build) and Frys Electronics put it together for me.  Disk 0 is a 128 GB SSD, 1 disk is a SATA 2 TB drive, and disc 2 is a 1 TB SATA drive. Readers of 0 and 1 have been configured correctly when I installed Windows 8 but Drive 1 was not found\initialized. Player 2 does not appear in the disk management window, but when I click on properties on any drive, and then on the "hardware" tab, the drive appears.  If I can get windows to find it, I can go configure manually.  DiskPart cannot find disc 2 in the 'LIST' command and when I get in car 2 on other commands that require a number of disc, nothing happens.

  What should I do?

  I ran an old Western Digital (the two SATA drives are WD) diagnosis and there are 1 OK to drive.  I tested it and it doesn't have a writing that test a few zeros.  I thought that it was a bad drive and I must return to the seller.  The next morning I tried the WD diagnosis again and this time he passed.  The app then allowed me to format it and it assign a drive letter.

  It seems to be OK now, but I'm not load all the files on it again.
