If you have this update installed:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/978601you could try removing it, restart, install this:
http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=29434... restart and then try again to your installation. Otherwise they may need to view your certificates and remove/install-some manually for their product (if it is supported under Windows XP.)

I've uninstalled and reinstalled FF several times. When I try to install the extension (which requires FF 4.0), I get a pop up that says I'm still using an older version of FF and asks me if I want to upgrade. When I click on "About Firefox", it says that I have 4.0. In February, I downloaded Beta FF I understand, could be a problem. I also read that you must manually remove the beta files that I made. I did a search of system to see if all the Beta files exist and none were found. I want to just make sure that FF 4.0 is installed and be able to install the extension FGS.
Sorry for the error in the link. Looks like spelling like that older that I've always had with "Web Sites" instead of "Web Sites" is more work. I've corrected it.

Pentium 4 running software that requires a 64-bit, etc.. Is this possible?
I have a Pentium 4:
992.9 > MiB memory.
> (2) 3.o GHz CPU;
> 21.4 available disk space (with Linux installed, which I could not remove).
I want to run the software requiring:
> XP (64 - bit compatible) (told me that the computer would go very slowly if I used something other than XP)
> Minimum 512 MB RAM (1 GB or more recommended)
> 600 MB of available space required for the software and user manual.
> 2 GB of additional disk space is required for all VST sounds / to THE included with the 2012 finals. My computer is able to do this with Windows XP 64-bit? I was planning on buying a copy of XP Professional on unused Amazon sold at retail. I am computer illiterate with the exception of the use of software - is similar to driving a car and not knowing really what as a clutch.
Thank you very much! You don't want Windows XP 64-bit. He has never supported with software and drivers, stick with 32-bit Windows. But in all cases, your processor is not compatible with the 64-bit software.

Can help you, I get access denied you do not have enough words to activate power
I am trying to install a software, but I get this message in Admin: access denied! You don't have enough power words to activate this function.
The message continues to appear over and over again and finally goes and does to install the software. It is on a PC HP mini.
LMV,
I hope that you do not have too much of your own data personal on the computer yet, because if you used I would suggest that you reinstall the operating system to solve these problems.
Go to http://partsurfer.hp.com and enter your name/product number in the search field. The results that arise should include a restore CD that you can order to perform the reinstallation. Yet once, please make sure to save any personal data that you have put on the computer before attempting this.

Several errors when trying to install ANY software.
For the last few weeks I had several problems when trying to install the software PC games, software, whether antivirus or other software with an .exe installer. A host of mistakes will jump to the top which prevents me to carry out (or) the installation process.
For example:When you try to install Avast Antivirus I get - "an error 31 (0000001F) occurred." "Done last operation was: temp directory. When you try to install Microsoft Security Essentials I get - "can't find a volume for the extraction of the file. Make sure you have the appropriate permissions. »When you try to install SUPERAntiSpyware I get - "the installation failed. Error reading configuration data. »When you try to install League of Legends or some other players Setup is not yet open. Nothing happens. When you try to install another game I had - "Setup could not create the directory"C:\Users\owner\AppData\Local\Temp\is-I1SGM.tmp"These errors occur when I run the .exe as administrator or not, in SafeMode with networking or not. It seems to be a problem with a temporary folder, the permissions of the user or something like that. Would someone kindly help me out here? I uninstalled MSE before moving to Avast yesterday, but now I can not install MSE or Avast so I'm stuck with no antivirus. Help!Useful info:Windows 7 Home Premium64 bitService Pack 1Any other necessary information is provided quickly. Thank you!Hello
I'm sorry that BootMedic did not work for you. I figured that if you can download it, there is the live CD when you it burned to a disc. But if you can't do that much, I'm afraid that the only solution is to reinstall Windows 7 directly, for example, of your hidden partition or DVD of Windows system, depending on what you have.
Back up your data and programs for an external drive or USB flash drive and go from there. Do you know how to do a clean install of Windows, or do you need me to walk you through it? If you need help I need to know your computer type, brand and model, and if you have a partition system or DVD disc.
Yet once, my apologies that it didn't work and I would like to know if not how can I help in the recovery process.
Kind regards
BearPup

Restarting my computer (Dell... Microsoft XP), the system tries to install creative projects and requires the insertion of a CD that I don't have or want.
I tried all obvious ploys, but I can't always Cancel/remove this element which is a nuisance, because it prevents me to install other programs that I want to.Any other suggestions would be welcome.Original title: CREATIVE WINDOWSRobert,

Im trying to install drivers for a Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 on my windows vista 64 bit computer. Every time I have try and start the download, it is said that my driver is not a 64-bit driver, which is false, and that my system is 64 bit, which is true. SO... after I click 'OK', it begins to download only to have another pop-up saying "Setup has detected that the system in use is not windows vista 64 bit" which it is. Basically its contradiction with himself. im confused.
Im running windows vista 64-bit.
I just upgraded to a Nvidia 9800GT, to a Nvidia GTX 260.
In frustration, I deleted all the old drivers, but the new will not download.
The first error says that the drivers are not 64-bit.
The second error indicates the operating system is not 64-bit.

I have version 6 Creative Suite Design Standard disc. When I tried to install the software on my new laptop, several components have been installed, but Acrobat and Illustrator were not. The system returned the following message: "Adobe genuine software check failed." The product you want to install is not genuine software remains, and seems to be counterfeit. Please report a piracy or contact customer support for assistance. This is the drive I bought from Adobe and running on my old laptop. I have the right product and serial numbers, which allowed me to install several other components of the software.
