  It's my first post that I am new to this forum. I am a beginner at photoshop. I'm 80% through a tutorial of phong.com ref; "beveled metal in photoshop" and cannot go to all the others because the effects of light are grey, outside, in the drop-down list. Please if anyone can help I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

  Make sure that in the Image-> Mode you have selected RGB color and 8bits/channel

  Edit: just checked obtained image. Go to Image-> Mode-> RGB color

  I managed to solve the problem.

  Lighting effects will only work if the file is in 8-bit format and will not work in 16-bit format which is what I tried to do.

  All I want to do right now is to burn a DVD to autoplay. Apparently, I can do so only through reminder. According to the instructions (Adobe Premiere Pro help |) Export to DVD or Blu - ray disc), in first Pro CC, I should be able to use the Adobe Dynamic Link menu to access again. Unfortunately, I can only access After Effects through this menu.

  I downloaded again CS6 and followed all the instructions in the wizard. I still have the files in my Applications folder. However, it has no practical application called again... just all support files. I can't find anywhere. No results don't come for her in a search, either (but then again, the Apple search tool has sucked since the first day).

  Lighting effects is available only in 32-bit mode.

  You can see which mode you're going on Image > Mode > 32 bits/channel

  Go to your computer manufacturer's support web site
  and search for the Windows XP drivers for your specific computer or motherboard model number.

  If there are Windows XP drivers, then download to a folder on your hard drive and burn it to a CD/DVD.
  Then, after installing XP install all device drivers, starting with the card mother/chipset drivers.
  LAN, Audio, USB, SATA, etc, and so on.

  Note: If there is no XP driver listed, then your computer is not compatible Windows XP.

  Unless your phone is turned ON, you will not be able to access photos from the phone. I suggest you to contact Nokia for more support.

  Photoshop lighting effect filter does not work. A new layer called just the effects of light appears, why?

  Under help > system info, copy and paste the first two lines identifying the exact version of your OS and Photoshop.

  In Photoshop, the command is the menu Filter > render > lighting effects

  Don't use "Last filter" or it runs the command without bring to the top of the dialog box.

  It is very easy to give the users rights to other folders by right-clicking on a folder or a file and selecting Properties, then security (re para below I just checked prior to this announcement and there is a link on the Security screen 'learn on the access control and permissions'. If logged in as an administrator, then you can do what you like, connected as a user for you only the things you 'clean '. However if it is simple to do, you should also understand its effects. If your machine is used only by yourself or people that you are happy to have provided full access to the hard drive then you don't remove no permission and that you are confident, no one will remove/mess with the files they don't own then begin.

  It would be a good idea to type "permissions" in windows 'Help and Support' and spend time following the topics that seem to be relevant. A quick google didn't find an idiots guide - everything seems to be 'network' based and has too much information. I think that following the instructions in this Microsoft Knowledge Base article [how to configure file sharing in Windows XP | http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304040] will allow you to get what you want in the safest way. I am new to Windows 7, but have no reason to think there will be much difference in the "screens".
