  • Windows Live mail - error message: Windows Live Mail has stopped working, a program has caused the blocking of the program works properly...

At the opening of Windows Live Mail, I get an error message "Windows Live Mail has stopped working" a second error message then cuts in "a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is not available"Unfortunately Windows does not close the program after waiting for an hour. I managed to twice using the system restore, but that failed even now to solve the problem. I am now resorting to Webmail using the messaging system.

Original title: using windows live mail to access my hotmail and gmail accounts

I use windows live mail to access my hotmail and gmail accounts. How many accounts mail can I create a link to windows live mail.

Is that these individual e-mail accounts overlap in windows live mail. Can any body hack emails which is a sender to one of these accounts.

    Madhu Sudan Modak

    MSM

As much as I know there is no absolute limit.  The number of accounts depends on many variables.  I can say that it is over 25, which is what I have.

Not sure what you mean by "are these...". can overlap in WLM"you be more specific?

Any email can be hacked given enough time.

  • How can I organize my contacts in Windows Live Mail

I am moving from XP Outlook Express for Windows 7 Windows Live Mail and I don't see any way to organize my contacts in different folders as I in OE. I have folders for different 'classes' of contacts - friends, parents, co-workers, etc. etc. When I send an email it almost always goes to a subset of one of these classes if I click on 'to', then select the analysis file it and drag the appropriate contacts "for", "cc" or "BCC". I need to see them all remind me which ones I want to sent to-I don't always have names at hand.

It seems that with WLM I have to browse ALL my contacts of 200 or more for every email! As you can imagine, this makes it practically unusable WLM. I know that I can create groups, but it is to send a message to ALL members of a group. I rarely do.

Please let me know if I'm wrong about this. If it's really as I've described, it appears as a problem and is being developed and there will be a solution in the coming months? If this isn't the case, I'll have to search for an another e-mail client.

Start by creating a category in contacts in Windows Live Mail:

    1. Press CTRL + SHIFT + C to open the Contacts .
    2. Click the arrow next to new , and then select the category .
    3. Select the contacts for this category, and click Save .

When you want to send a message:

    1. Opening of the Contacts .
    2. Click on the category.
    3. Hold down the CTRL key and click on who should receive the message.
    4. Right click on one of them, and then click Send Email .

  • Cannot open PDF files in Windows Live Mail.

I recently got a new computer running Windows 7.  I have Windows Live Mail and have tried to open the 'pdf' files attached to e-mails.  When I try to open them I get an error message.  I downloaded the file in the file management section for Adobe and Adobe.  How to open a PDF file without first having to save it on my computer?

HURT SO BAD!  I had the same problem - I tried the security options in Internet Explorer and Adobe, also the download of unassociate.exe that was put in place for users of Vista and used on the extension pdf without result.  IF YOU USE IT ON THE PDF AND PDFXML extensions, then open Adobe reader and click Help, repair drive installation it works!

Obviously, you cannot run your life by saving just to open attachments... Adobe has no answers on their site and find the file unassoc.exe on this Microsoft forum was the closest, I arrived to find an answer. When I tried the process a second time, I saw the PDFXML extension just below the PDF extension and took a shot at it.

Someone at Microsoft needs this fix to make accessible to all the users of Windows 7. I spent 3 hours on the phone with HP support, he tried the unassoc.exe and it did not work for him. I contact them to let them know about this - they put me on the phone with a Manager and he told me they had literally hundreds of phone calls about this.

  • I can't go offline online in windows live mail.

Hello. When I went to check my email yesterday I suddenly found a message telling me that I was working in offline mode. The box asked me if I wanted to go online and I said yes, but is it does not record and so I am unable to download my mail. I had not previously checked button to work offline and have not met before.
    How can I fix it?

Open Internet Explorer, and then press Alt + F to open the file menu. If work offline is selected, deselect it. If it is not selected, select it, wait a few moments and then deselect. Now check if Windows Live Mail is still offline.

What version of Internet Explorer is installed? In Internet Explorer, press Alt - H has to do.

  • How can I put stationery on my windows live mail emails?

I now use windows live mail to my emails with windows 8.  I used to have outlook express and had email stationery there that I had downloaded.  I don't know how to put stationery on this new e-mail account and can not find the buttons in the toolbar, such as "format", which led me to 'add stationery '.  Can anyone help with this please?

If the stationery is an html file, you can open the html file in Internet Explorer.

    ALT + F, email Page

If letterhead contains images, images must be on the Internet.

Don't use stationery that contains sound.

  • Cannot open an attachment in Windows Live Mail 2012.

    Original title:

    Clive

I can't open attachments in Windows Live Mail 2012.  On right click on it I just get the option 'open', not 'open with '.  I think that it may be trying to use a path or a program, but don't know how to change it.  Any suggestions?

It's weird, the Mail app does not keep a separate list of file associations, it should just pull some Manager by default is the type of file by name.  I agree with your idea, kill it and reinstall it and determine if it starts to behave properly.
