  The easiest way is with a crossover cable - a special wire to connect the two systems.

  I have just been enabled for Windows Live Mesh and enjoyed. Extremely useful. Great job Microsoft. Keep it up and I can be influenced to get a Windows Mobile phone.

  My question concerns the Mesh and Skydrive integration. I like the ability of Dropbox-like editing any document synchronized with the mesh on the desktop, to be automatically uploaded to the cloud and be able to access anywhere on trellis or Skydrive.
  The only thing that I'm having difficulties with, is unable to download files for 5 Gig Mesh storage of a computer using Skydrive (which has no mesh installed) and no storage of 25 GB Skydrive.
  On my desktop, I am currently having download the Mesh storage file, work on a file, upload it on Skydrive and as soon as I get home to download it on my laptop on the mesh.
  Apparently there is no way to edit a file on a computer and transfer it to mesh instead of Skydrive, unless you have mesh. Is there a way to get around this?

• We put good permissions to pdf files on our webserver with XI Acrobat pro. Then, we want to load these pdf files on our web page client side, for examle into firefox (ff). Exist permissions or settings due to the ff load

  We would like to buy the adobe XI teacher, but we have already purchased software with which we can set the appropriate permissions for our PDFs (on our web server), but when someone downloads our Web page (with either firefox or ie) and open one of these files, the permissions installed is not supported connsideration due to the ff or ie use the pdf reader clean when loading the pdf file is inside of the web page.

  So we do not understand that such authority is - it, only a third of software (like ff, ie) - except acrobat reader - can crush and not take into consideration?

  The permissions are part of the PDF and do not change.  But as Adobe clearly warn some third party applications will ignore permissions.

  The PDF standard is open - this is why there may be several different applications to read PDF files. This open standard includes safety instructions, some developers do not know for various reasons, including an aversion to the idea that you should be able to protect your files. Make a complaint to the enforcement officials.

• Can't click submenus and notification calls in Exchange for Mircosoft while using Firefox.

  When I access Microsoft Exchange web app of Firefox I have is no longer click pop up secondary menus and notifications I could prior use.

  For example, when I go to empty my deleted items folder and select empty file, I get this notification (menu 1) that I can't do now, click. All I can do is simply press 'enter' to close menus without actually doing a yes/no entry.

  Similarly, when I go to move folders and get the context menu (menu 2), I can't make any selection, and the 'enter' to close the method does not work. All I can do is then close the page.

  I tried to disable the blocker for firefox but that did not fix the problem. I can still use the submenus in other web browsers, so it is a problem that is specific to firefox.

  Any help to identify the cause and remedy this would be greatly appreciated.

  Such behavior can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked by Firefox or an extension or blocked by security software (firewall).

  Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.
  • 'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems: Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  If clearing cookies doesn't help, then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
  
  Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the profile folder in the cookies.sqlite case has been corrupted.

  If this does not help then make sure that your firewall is not blocking cookies.

  Hello Chris,

  While there is no reason why you can't burn files to your CD burner for backup, most people use an external hard drive and backup Windows for this purpose.

  The reason behind this, I think, is that CD can get scratches and become unreadable, while external hard drives are more resistant.

  If the answer is "Yes you can", but there are other methods that others use.

  It is not possible to load the text from the cell with the source file. But we try to do the same thing...
  We decide to map the Description2 FDM fields with the text in the cell in the source file, as in an event (such as aftFileImport) script, to play the field in the table and add text to a field Memo in MDF.
  FDM provide a method to do this: API. ArchiveMgr.fMemoAddItem

  With this method, the memo will be export to HFM as a TxtCase (you must enable in the settings of integration).

  I tried the solution and it works, but we are in the process of implementation.

  I'm looking for a video file of 4 Gig to be downloaded from a client on my creative cloud of online storage, the file is obviously too big for the free version of drop box.  So I thought I could use creative cloud for this but I can't find anyway to allow guest access or provide a download address.    Any advice?   Is it still possible?

  You can't ask your client to download the files to your cloud storage creative (2 GB for the trial) and 20 GB for subscribed users. You can download the files in the cloud creative if you are connected to creative.adobe.com with your adobe ID and password.

  However Cloud Creative currently has problems with a small number of file types. Previews and download conversions will be delayed for these files. We are working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
