  You should check if your browser is now pages in history that long. In Internet Explorer:

• I can't view my folders using the folder options

  In my folder properties, I can check/uncheck "Read only", but the 'Hidden' attribute has a checkbox selected but grayed out and I can't view it.

  I had the virus in my system that automatically hidden my every folder in all drives.

  I open the folder and files by using the path that is iritating too.
  I can't view the folders because of the "Hidden" attribute
  Wiki also says that I should be able to disable the 'Hidden' attribute, but not on my system.
  I'm the admin and the only user of this computer.  Of course, I can 'see' the folder hidden because of the-> Folder Options Control Panel.

  Are you sure that the virus has been correctly removed?  Run a TDSSKiller and a Malwarebytes scan on the machine.

  This grayed out checkbox "Hidden" usually means that the file also has the "system" attribute set on it, this can be solved by using the Attrib command at a prompt (run as administrator).

  At the elevated command prompt, use the CD command to navigate to the root folder:

  cd\

  In the root folder, you can get a list of your folder with the following attributes:

  attrib /s /d

  The list will be long, it is best to redirect the output to a file:

  attrib /s /d > c:\attrib.txt

  to open the file from the command prompt just enter the path:

  c:\attrib.txt  (then )

  A peculiar quirk of the Attrib command, is that if the system and hidden attributes are defined, you need to remove both at the same time, you cannot delete one while the other exists.  To remove the hidden attribute and the system:

  attrib h s/s/d

  On the issue of the root folder this command will remove the hidden attribute and system on all folders on the disk... the problem is the attrib command automatically treats all files, so it will also remove the system attribute on all files, including all the files in the Windows directory and its subdirectories.

  Hi Rita,.

  Assuming you are using Internet Explorer (IE) try this:
  • Open IE and go to the site that you want to display as you normally would.
  • Look in the upper right, next to the red X, there is a button that looks like two boxes in front of the other - it's restore down. Click on it and your IE window should shrink.
  • You can change the size of this window by pointing the mouse on the edges until it becomes double ended arrow, and then clicking on, now and making drag and drop your window screen by clicking on, hold and drag in the top bar.
  • Once you have it where you want that it and the size that you want, click on FILE > new window, or press CTRL + N.
  • This will open a new window of the same size on the same Web page, which you can then drag it where you want.
  • Repeat until you have enough windows IE open to do what you need.
  • When you are finished, right-click on the stack of icons of EI on the toolbar at the bottom and click "close all windows".

  If you use Chrome, it's more or less the same. MENU > new window or CTRL + N

  It should apply as well to Windows 7. It is likely to be caused by the DDE for Firefox.

  For a week or two, we had the question where to go to a link for a signed PDF will automatically download the PDF file to the computer rather than display it in the browser. This happens regardless of the settings of the browser to know how to handle PDF files. Y at - it an option that I'm missing that controls this behavior?

  For us, it is much easier to simply display the document signed (to check that it has been completed correctly), then have our set browsers to purge the output cache, rather than having to delete downloaded files hordes (and having to open and then close them one by one).

  It is a change introduced by our update of January on January 23.

  It doesn't matter what PDF viewer is configured to be the Manager of default pdf pdf file is opened outside the browser.

  I'm not quite sure if this is a planned change or not, if it's a question marked by our team of engineers.

  I struggled to start to use my local test server.  He worked a year ago when I finally used, but now I get only a blank page when I do the test in browser (F12).

  It took a while to get to start Wamp just straight up (icon was orange).  Has proved to be a problem of conflict of Port 80.  Port of Skype finally changed and Wamp now started end (green icon).

  I have documented all parameters in Wamp and DW to make sure that everything points to the right place, but always only get pages virgins back when displaying in Firefox.

  For some additional tests, I made a copy of the HTML on the test server, but I always had the same results.

  Any ideas on what to try next?

  I would consider the uninstallation of IIS, and then reinstall an Apache Web server. The wwebserver that I use ZEND Server, is big, but not free. Maybe you could try XAMPP.
