I can use the catalogue on two computers (NOT at the same TIME)

I use LRCC and have my catalog and library on a disk external drive attached to my iMac.

I hope to install on a MacBookPro LRCC and guess what I need to do is re - connect the HD to the MBP. Am I naive?

Second, I noticed that I have some backup catalog 70 for a total of 17 GB. I backup once a week. Please confirm that I should keep only the last 2 or 3.

Thank you

You can transfer a catalogue from one computer to another via an external hard drive and work at the same time. Realize that a catalog running on a DHM is usually much slower than a local catalogue.

I recommend that you keep the last 5 or 6 weeks of weekly backups, but that's just my opinion. Normally, you discover problems of catalogue in this time.

    With most of their applications, you can disable it on a single computer, and then turn on another.  I'm not 100% sure of Lightroom, however.

  • Two headphones can use the same ports? Or is there an exception with RAC?

    I was under the impression that the two processes of the listener cannot use the same port. But, how to scan LISTENER_SCAN2 and LISTENER_SCAN3 headphones use the same port 1628 in the RAC hump178 node?

    $ srvctl config scan_listener
    SCAN Listener LISTENER_SCAN1 exists. Port: TCP:1628
    SCAN Listener LISTENER_SCAN2 exists. Port: TCP:1628
    SCAN Listener LISTENER_SCAN3 exists. Port: TCP:1628

    $ srvctl STATUS SCAN_LISTENER
    SCAN Listener LISTENER_SCAN1 is enabled
    SCAN listener LISTENER_SCAN1 is running on node humpy179
    SCAN Listener LISTENER_SCAN2 is enabled
    SCAN listener LISTENER_SCAN2 is running on node humpy178
    SCAN Listener LISTENER_SCAN3 is enabled
    SCAN listener LISTENER_SCAN3 is running on node humpy178

    These 2 listeners, according to the ouput srvctl above runs on the humpy178 RAC node that has 1 single public IP address. It's just a normal (standard) 2 node RAC configuration.

  • Is compatible with Lightroom 6 Lightroom 5 catalog? In addition, Lightroom CC 2015 and Lightroom 6 can use the same catalog?

    I am a current user of Lightroom 5.7 - I bought and installed 6 of Lightroom, but have not launched the program again - will be LR 6 make changes to my catalog LR 5, such that it cannot be used in LR5?

    In addition, LR6 and LR CC 2015 can share the same catalog?

    Lightroom 6 will require a database update are in the catalog format. When you start Lightroom 6 once you have it installed, it will prompt you to update your catalog. This will create a new copy of your catalog in the new format, leaving your Lightroom 5 intact and usable catalog if you have installed Lightroom 5. 6 of Lightroom and Lightroom CC may use the same catalog. But they may not share the same catalog as this catalogue must be installed locally on both computers. The Lightroom catalog cannot be placed on a network drive.

  • If I restart my computer I can use the same disc I used before?

    Hi my office is full of viruses and I really think that the best option is to clean everything as if it was when new... but I have a disk of windows 7 (I don't want to buy another copy) my question is can I really do? and if so, is it the same process?

    As long as it's the same edition/installation disk that was used to install Windows 7 in the first place, Yes.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/installing-and-reinstalling-Windows-7

    If your computer is pre-installed with Windows 7:

    New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

    This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

    For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

    For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

    For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device

    For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

    For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

    For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

    For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...

    For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power

    Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

    Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".

  • If I replace my motherboard I have to buy Windows again or if I can use the same key?

    A motherboard / licensed

    The motherboard in my computer is dead (well not exactly, the USB ports short anything plugged). I RAM would be the Council because it is still under warranty, but the manufacturer says that the problems are not covered by the warranty. I'm in a situation where I need to replace my motherboard. I also found that my motherboard is no longer manufactured. I'll be able to buy a new motherboard and reinstall Windows? I was told that since a computer cannot exist without a motherboard I'll have to buy another copy of Windows: new motherboard = new computer = new copy of Windows. But I was also told that if I have a retail copy, what I do, and not an OEM, I was able to reinstall my copy if I replace my motherboard. How true this is?

    All this is true!

    If you have a retail version, you can change the card mother as many times as you like as long as your license is used only on any given computer one at a time.

    After the fifth installation of your license, phone activation may be required.

    Only OEM versions are related to the first motherboard forever, unless the manufacturer can sell you a model which replaced the abandoned.

  • Try to do a clean install of Windows 7 to new SSD, would like to know if I can use the same product key.

    Original title: re-install Windows 7

    Hello. I recently built my own PC and installed a purchased copy of Windows 7 hard disk. I'm upgrading to an SSD 120 GB and I was wondering if there was a way completely erase my old hard drive for all files and all re - install windows using my CD key and product. I heard that once you use the product key, the copy of Windows is 'married' to this hard drive and the key cannot be used anywhere else. Is this true? Basically, I'm doing a clean install on this new SSD. Thank you.

    Not at all, you can erase and reinstall Windows as many times as you want as long as you have the product key.  The only restriction is that the key can be used only on one computer at a time.  Unless this key is used somewhere else, you can install a billion times.  The key is what you pay for, not the CD (in fact, if you lose the CD you can download another copy, but you need to keep your secret key).

    In any case, the process is simple: just put in the CD and restart and follow the steps to install.  When you get calls that lead to install on, you have options to format (erase) the drive and basically start over completely.

    The only real thing you need to know is that, after the installation, you will need to go to the computer manufacturer's website and download the drivers for your computer.  According to the computer, you may need to get the driver of network from another computer and copy it using a flash drive (if the network needs the driver before it can connect).

  • Can I use a CS5 license in two mac at the same time?

    I install my CS5 in my macbook air and recently I buy a mac mini and I would use the CS5 too. Is it possible for me to install it in the mac mini?

    Yes.

    • You can install CS5 software on as many computers as you want.
    • You can activate the software to be used on up to two computers (not 3 or more) at the same time.
    • You can only use the software enabled on one computer at a time.
    • You can toggle between computers using Photoshop for example your activation > Deactivate
      Enable and disable Adobe products
  • If I bought the Photo Shop elements 2014 for my can of Mac desktop I also install the Windows version using the same serial number on my laptop?

    I think that they have stopped selling items with a cross-platform license a version or two.

  • Use the same table queue send two different messages?

    Hello

    We have a reconciliation and an outgoing queue in our database!

    Now, we need to create another message content to send to IBM MQ series, so it's just an outgoing messages (no incoming message!)

    To the exsisting two queues, we have the gateway messages in place!

    I was wondering if I can use the same outgoing queue table and infrastructure Message gateway to send another message charge (contect) to the IBM MQ.

    Don't you think it's possible?

    More info made me know!

    Thanks a lot for your help!

    Hello Louis,.

    first of all I didn't detect something strange or even incorrect - perfect!

    Your questions:

    > 1. have I defind is correct? "multiple_consumers => TRUE);"

    Yes, that's correct. We must define this order to use MGW.

    > 2. I failed: gv_mq_inbound_log_queue: = 'ORACLE.002 ';     part because I have not all incoming messages to oracle, I just sent messages in my case! > Is this correct?

    Yes, that's also OK. Since you're carrying data from AQ to MQ in an outgoing queue. Incoming queue would be

    the other way around. You have configured your MQ as a remote queue (sys.mgw_property ('MQ_openOptions', 16')).

    You wishes to clarify this yet once with your MQ management group if this is correct. You may not know at this stage.

    The alternative would be a local queue (value = 2066).

    You don't show the part for the queue. This should be something like:

    BEGIN

    v_message_text: = p_message_text. GETCLOBVAL().    -using the XMLTYPE as payload type

    v_text_body: = SYS. MGW_TEXT_VALUE_T (NULL, v_message_text);

    v_payload: = SYS. MGW_BASIC_MSG_T (v_header, v_text_body, NULL);

    DBMS_AQ. ENQUEUE (queue_name-online p_queue_name,

    enqueue_options-online enqueue_options,

    message_properties-online message_properties,

    payload-online v_payload,

    -Online v_msgid msgid);

    > 3. The last of them, do you think I'll reach my goal with all these codes? Is that what you think may be missing or... ?

    Yes, you will reach your goal using this code. Try it and tell me what happened.

    Kind regards

  • Can I use the same Adobe ID for Amazon AppStore - and - Play from Google?

    Hello!  We have been on the iPad for two years now and have finally taken the bet to design a version of our magazine for the range fire Kindle from Amazon.  I'm curious to know if we can share an Adobe ID between Amazon AppStore and Google play, so that all of our Android folios remain in the synchronized if the user is on the material from Amazon or another provider.

    Thanks in advance for any ideas.

    Yes, you can use the same ID (title ID) of Adobe for Google Play Store and Amazon Appstore. In DPS App Builder, create two separate applications, each time specifying the target store (in the App Builder, Google play is still called Android Market). However, I do not recommend that you use the same Adobe ID for iOS and Google/Amazon unless you offer a personal right (Enterprise only).

    A key difference between the Kindle Fire viewers and viewers Android is that Kindle Fire viewers do not display the navigation bar. Here's a detailed article on the Amazon/Android devices targeting:
