  OK well I have a solution to my own question. I tried to install it on the USB and all I had to do was copy the folder on the desktop, and then install it from there. has worked well!

  Because I had problems with cursors of runaway value depending on size of Image in Photoshop, I went to turn off and simply uninstall CS4 Photoshop to have my serial number, rejected by the Adobe site. During a live help chat, I learned that I entered the serial number is ONLY VALID for the WHOLE of the CS4 Design Premium Suite - not individual programs - and that I had to disable and uninstall all the components of the Suite. Did this, re-entered my serial number, then downloaded the DPS CS4 from the Adobe site. No problem.

  BUT when I double click on the 'setup.app"and the status display shows things proceed well, without warning EVERYTHING STOPS at the point to halfway to disk 1. During this status quo, the status bar continues to indicate 'progresses' even if NO progress!

  I tried to contact Adobe Help via chat live again, but the Web interface would only connect to this Forum for HELP.

  As I am a Mac OSX 10.7.5 with 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 memory and 258,83 GB of free hard disk subsystem, memory, and storage are not the problem.

  And hope someone who knows how to navigate the major glitch answer - am DESPERATE to get CS4 Design Premium Suite up to-and-operational again.

• Why I can not download CS4 Design Premium (student version) on my new PC?

  I just bought a new PC HP dv6t-7200.  She has Windows 8 on it.  I bought the version Adobe CS Design Premium student a few years ago and tried to download it in my new computer.

  When I put the discs they sound as they begin, but then they gradually reduce and stop turning.  I checked my "Start" screen to display my 'c' drive and it does not even show that the disc is in the drive.

  Can someone tell me why I can not download these discus in my new computer?  I get no error message or of any kind of message that I can't download the discs, so I n "t know what is the problem.  Discus downloaded very well my last HP PC a few years ago and it is a set of student in good standing version.

  I recently had a problem with my card on my Macbook Pro, find themselves in having replaced. Beforehand I had to reformat my hard drive, where you uninstall Design Premium in the process.

  I am now trying to reinstall and it hangs on 'checking system profile' at all about the 90% mark.

  I am aware that others have had problems with this and recommendations have been made in what concerns creating a profile or just by clicking on the Setup icon and selecting "Show the contents of the package" and installation there, but none of those who work for me and it still crashes at the same brand whenever I try.

  I wonder what I can do then, I'm not too common sense when it comes to watch programs in the code if any help broke down in the simplest form would be much appreciated that I cannot to allow/should not have to pay on the new Adobe software , considering that it was find prior work format my hard drive.

  Every time I have try and install the new flash catalyst Beta 2 I'm stuck on this screen. I can't go back or continue and need to force, exit the application install. This is a free trial download not requiring no not a CD? I used the Beta 1 and had no problem with the installation.

  We do not know why you see this, but the answer man said to copy the contents of the DMG volume to a folder on your desktop and run it from there.

  If you only installed and active software once before, you still have an extra activation to your disposal.  So if this is the case you can uninstall and reinstall and reactivate using your serial number.

  You can also get Adobe support by chat to reset your activations - they are likely not available until after the end of the week.  Do not ask for more than that but or they will tell you that they do not support for older software installation problems.

  Uninstall all the bits of the Adobe software on your system, run the Creative Suite cleanup tool, install again in good condition. You have installed the Adobe anotehr of CD/DVD software and it's a waste of the installer.

  1 CD/DVD drive is visible in Windows Explorer?
  2. don't you make changes before the show?
  3. you have any installed program CD/DVD burning does not support Microsoft?
