I get "the data is invalid." when trying to reactive my windows 7 ultimate

Oh help!.

It seems as if there has been major interference in the system by an outside agency - either a user, or malicious software.

I think the best idea (faster) will be at least install a repair, which should fix errors of current permissions and other potential problems.

Personally, I would prefer a clean install, because there is no knowledge what other system damage were inflicted.

If I read the law of PID, it is an upgrade license?

Is your drive 1 with SP1 integrated, or the original version?

No, this isn't a license to upgrade and I brought my copy pre - sp1.

Thanks for all your help so far, it is much appreciated.
