  I suggest that you check the number of KB updates that have been installed recently.

  There is no history of update for Windows XP; but you can see what updates you have installed on your computer by clicking on add or remove programs in Control Panel.

  To see what updates you have installed on a Windows XP-based computer, you must go through a different process.

  (a) go to the start menu in the lower left corner.

  (b) choose Control Panel from the menu.

  (c) find the icon Add / Remove programs and double click it to open it.

  (d) a list of the installed programs. To see Windows updates put a check mark in the Show updatescheck box.

  (e) now, you will see also all the updates that are on your computer.

  Please provide information on the update installed that could be causing the problem so that we can better help you.

  One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

  Assuming that you had bought a copy of the sale at retail of Office 2010 (i.e., it not was not preinstalled by the manufacturer of the computer or downloaded and installed using a "product key card"), just install it on the new system and turn on normally.  In some cases, you may use telephone activation and explain the circumstances (i.e., the old computer is dead).

  Microsoft Office is not a step "off authorizes" as some other apps (Adobe comes to mind).

I counted, there are 14 sites listed in preferences > privacy > pane show Cookies (no pun intended) and they are all sites of "ad". These sites are also listed as sites blocked in Adblock Plus. Until a person pick up, I give up, I don't know what else to do. He there was that the only time that cookies were gone pane show Cookies, every other time I have uninstalled/reinstalled anything, they were still there. So, until someone can help me, I'm stuck. The only thing I did is removed altogether-profile file. It's the last thing I want to do, unless I can save my favorites somewhere to return after reinstalling.   Little puzzle, this particular post was not the first in which I posted this question. However, it is the only one that I thought was actually posted on the forum. The first two attempts, I thought had not displayed. Today, there are all the posts with the same problem. So, I really thank Mozilla for their patience and all the people who have taken the time to read this and the other two positions. I apologize for the repeated messages.   Do you have other copies of the application on another partition or drive? If this isn't the case, move the application to the trash and try to download it again.

  Because you performed a System Restore you would not be able to determine which update problem from occurring. You will have to wait for the update to your computer to determine the update that caused the problem. The update does not necessarily cause the problem to occur again. However, you can view the history of updates to updating history.
   
  1. open the control panel (all items view), and click the Windows Update icon.
   
  2. click on the link to view update history.
   
  3. to view the details of a single Windows Update-
   
  (A) select and right-click on a Windows Update list, and then click details.
   
  (B) click on close when finished.
   
  As far as the question of timing is concerened, you can scan SFC on your computer and check if the problem persists.
  
  Steps to perform a scan SFC:
   
  1. Click Start, click principally made programs, accessories, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow
   
  2. type the following command and press ENTER:
  sfc/scannow
  [The command sfc /scannow. analysis of all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.]
   
  A message appears indicating that "the system scan will start. Be patient, because the analysis may take some time
   
  3. If all the files require that a SFC replace will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Win7 DVD for this process to continue
   
  4. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.
   
  5. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

It's embarrassing"page after a crash or a restart, and when I click on 'restore previous session', Firefox opens again the old pages, which some I no longer need and do not open most of my recent pages. I think I clicked on all the right settings, including "remember my story." Someone knows what to do? Thank you!

  You may have corrupted sessionstore file (s). Delete all files sessionstore * and the sessionstore-backups folder.

  Type of topic: support in the address bar and press to enter.

  Under the logo of the page on the left side, you will see Basics Application. Under this find Profile Folder. To his right, press the button view file. This will open your file for the current profile of Firefox browser. Now close Firefox.

  Find the file above. Then rename or delete it. Restart Firefox.
