  There is nothing to enter because your license system is not functional. Reinstall the software correctly using the installer of the full suite, not some installers obscure single app or what you mean by "backup."

  No - I had, of course, tried all these things. Finally, I had someone (after several days) on the personal chat group that could fix and it did it in a few minutes. Too bad that nobody else seemed to be able to do. Adobe is very soft.

  Serial numbers have letters in them.  What do you use can be a redemption code, if you have already used, it will not work lonmger, which is not what you enter to request a serial number.   If you already have this software installed and registered then your serial number should be available through your Adobe account online.
