I have Windows Vista Home Premium and I lost my case with the product key to this topic! I really need help! Can someone help me?
If the operating system is running - use Belarc Advisor to retrieve the key. www.Belarc.com
If the OS is always installed, but inaccessible, you can still be able to recover, depending on what is causing the problem - come back with details.
If you have reformatted, about maybe possible get the key - but unlikely.
If the HD is dead, or you have crushed the old installation, then you are out of luck.

Hello
You are unable to update or upgrade Vista 32 bit to 64 bit of Vista.
32-bit to 64-bit, or 64 bit to 32 bit is done by a new installation using a full version of the operating system.
32-bit and 64-bit are different operating systems.

I bought the parts to make my first computer from Newegg about 8 months ago. This figure includes Windows 7 Home Premium OEM. I had to move on to professional for my school.
Now my motherboard (out of warranty) became lethargic and I'll upgrade. But I was told that I have to play for Windows AGAIN.That's what I've collected questions on this site, even the thought of service Windows (in India) told me that I would have NO PROBLEM spending these two licenses to my new motherboard.I have already sunk $180 in this product. VERY well, I'm hoping not to have to reinvest to solve a simple problem.Any help is appreciated. The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:
-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft
-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on
-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard
-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system
