I installed Firefox 4 Mobile on my N900, but I am not satisfied. How to return to the previous version?
While Firefox 4 is a commuter application, it does not play Flash videos and there is no add-on for this and so she won't let me watch videos on various news sites I visit.
Supported the previous version of Firefox Mobile made a version of Flash that was enough to play Flash videos, but I can't find the previous version of Firefox anywhere on the web.
My question is: How can I install the previous version of Firefox mobile on my N900?
To enable Flash in Firefox 4.0 for N900:
- Enter about: config in the address bar and press return.
- Find the preference "plugin.disable".
- Press the rocker switch to set the value "false".
If you want to download the previous version, you can find it here:
http://FTP.Mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/Mobile/releases/1.1/maemo/
(Choose your language, for example "en-US" is English us.)

How to return to the previous version of FIREFOX (4)
FIREFOX 5.0 does not have the features I need. I need to come back!
One or more of your modules has been disabled? There may be a solution to this if that is the question.

Because of security vulnerabilities, roll back to Firefox 4.0.1 is discouraged. 3.6.18 Firefox would be the safer choice.
Here is the process to roll back:
First of all, I recommend you backup your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See your backup information. (You can copy your profile folder Firefox together somewhere outside the Mozilla folder).
Then, download and save Firefox 3.6 on your desktop for later installation. http://www.Mozilla.com/Firefox/all-older
Firefox is closed 5.
You could install Firefox 3.6 on it (many have reported success) or you can uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, the entire program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left. If there are serious questions, please post back with details.
Note: I have not actually tried myself!

How to return to a previous version of Firefox
I hate the current version of Firefox and was much happier with the previous version. I fear I do not know what is the current version number and do not know what was the number of previous version, but as far as I know it was the last before this new version.
How to return to the previous version, while keeping all of my addons and bookmarks? If I can get the previous version that I will definitely store them on my computer so I don't have to ask this question again.
Best regards, Alex
Hi, open the Manager (Ctrl + Shift + A) modules, select Extensions on the left side, and you should be able to disable or delete them from here.

There is no compatible version of my Add ons or extensions and I lost a boat load of tabs I had saved and I want them back so I want to go back to the previous version of firefox... I now have the new 17.0 and not happy, I lost all my info and settings
u need to uninstall firefox...
older version Google Firefox... u should get a link from the site . mozilla.org ... Download the version you want... probly the most current version will work for you... then... and this is important... you disconnect from the internet before u install the old version or firefox will automatically update your installation to 17 FF... install the old version just above what you have now (17 or other)
Once installed, go you ahead and connect to internet...
I just lowered the mark 17 FF FF 16 like this, BC. This is th only way firefox tabs work and I lost Tab Mix Plus...

The address that you have only downloads 41not 40.
The www.mozilla.org/firefox/all is for the current version, which is currently 41.0.1
The thread was started when the 41.0 was always on the Beta channel and 40.0 was the current version at the time in the month of August.
