I lost the home button at the top when I open Firefox. How can I restore it?

My cat ran through my keyboard about a month ago and the 'home' icon has disappeared from the top right of my screen. I don't understand how to recover the icon. From now on, I have to close Firefox and open it again instead of click on the 'home' icon to get there. How to restore the icon?

Thanks - I'm not at the least to worry about this being the issue.
