I'm always on Adobe Flash 10.3. The latest version of Firefox will support the last Flash?

I have Windows Vista... For a while, whenever I got a new version of Firefox I tried to upgrade Adobe Flash and in any case it crashed so I stopped to do so. I asked this question to you more than once before and rec have never a response. Saved Flash 10.3, have reinstalled, which left and I go kind of happily on my way. Unfortunately, as you know that there are some videos, I can't access with 10.3. So, that being said... Will be the latest version of Adobe Flash work with the latest version of Firefox?

Wow, I can't believe that you have saved this old version of Flash for so long. If Flash player is crushed you probably had to disable hardware acceleration for Flash Player. Try turning off hardware acceleration.

  1. Go to the Adobe Flash Player help page.
  2. Right-click on the Flash Player logo on this page.
  3. Click settings on the shortcut menu. The Adobe Flash Player settings screen opens.
  4. Click the icon in the lower left of the Adobe Flash Player settings window to open the display panel.

  5. Remove the enable hardware accelerationcheck box.
  6. Click close to close the Adobe Flash Player settings window.
  7. Restart Firefox.

This Flash Player help - display settings page contains more information about the Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you are interested.

With regard to the latest version, Yes. The latest version of Flash works fine on the latest version of Firefox (29.0.1)

  • I have already updated Adobe Flash to the latest version, why Firefox may not detect?

Through a company rep IT, he helped to update my Adobe Flash Player already as well as the installation of Firefox 3.6

Now, why the firefox claims "You must update your Adobe Flash Player to view this video" when the Flash Player has been already updated to the latest (i.e. try to watch videos of youtube for testing).

There are two different versions of Flash, the ActiveX version that is used by Internet Explorer and the version of the Plugin that use most of the other browsers, including Firefox. If both are installed, two Adobe Flash versions should appear in Add / Remove programs in Control Panel.

    1. download the file of configuration Flash from here:

    Adobe Flash - Plugin version.

    Save it to your desktop.

    2. close Firefox using file > exit

Then check the Task Manager > processes tab to make sure that firefox.exe is closed.

    {XP: Ctrl + Alt + Delete, Vista: Shift + Ctrl + ESC process tab =}

    3. then run the Flash configuration from your desktop file.

    • On Vista and Windows 7, you may need to run the installer of plugin as administrator by starting the installation program via the context menu if you do not get a UAC prompt for permission to continue (that is to say that nothing seems to be happening).

It seems that something does not work properly, please help! Why can't I just go to adobe with Firefox, click on download and restart my browser, it would be so much easier lol

  • Why the latest version of firefox insists not flash player is outdated and blocks read, but this is the last update

Flash Player Plugin between 11.0 and 11.7.700.169 (click-to-play) has been blocked for your protection.this is what firefox tells me but when I check the Add-ons Manager, it says version 15.0.0.239 is installed.how can get firefox to recognize the correct version

Hello, adobe has released a critical fix for a vulnerability in its version of the flash plugin, which is apparently already exploited in the wild. That's why firefox will block the precarious versions which run by default on Web sites for your protection. https://helpx.Adobe.com/security/products/Flash-Player/apsb14-27.html https://addons.Mozilla.org/Firefox/blocked/p794

Please update Adobe Flash Player version 16.0.0.235 as soon as possible, that you can download from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html (use the windows exe for plugin-based browsers).

I have windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I have Firefox 12.0 installed and have re-installed twice in the last week. I always get the prompt to upgrade, even here on the Mozilla site. I don't know what else to do?

Hello butch864, it seems that something is leading your user agent (the bit that identifies the browser and its version) and makes it appear as if you are still using firefox 3.0.11. • AE CC multi-machine Rendering: always ask Adobe ID to make the launch of the App engine

    Hello world

I'm sure this is a fairly simple solution, but I watched for awhile through blogs and AE documentation and I just can't get it figured out.

I'm trying to set up my first render farm several computers with AE CC. All the render farm machines are equipped with Windows 7 and are networked via the Gigabit Ethernet Switch. I understand that I can get CC installed on 2 computers with my membership and then I can install a number of instances Render only on EI. The problem is I'm trying to set up one of my 3 machines in rendering only, but I wonder still connect with my Adobe ID when I launch the App renderer. I can't sign in a third time, or he'll ask me if I want to disconnect all other computers that are registered under my name. I've attached screenshots of what it shows.

    1.jpg2.jpg

I've already put the ae_render_only_node.txt file in the correct place according to the Adobe documentation (C:\Users\ < myusername > \My Documents)

    3.jpg

Any thoughts? I guess I'm doing something stupid, but I can not simply identify it.

    Thanks for any help!

One thing to check: in Windows Explorer, go to the Tools menu > Folder Options. Disable "Hide extensions of known file types". Having, is the file named "ae_render_only_node.txt" yet, or is it an extra .txt at the end?

If this is not the case, what happens if you move the file to the location of replacement? C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Adobe

  • I download the latest version of Firefox, and my first page always tells me that I don't have the latest version.

Firefox is my browser. Google is my cover page. It keeps giving me the message that I'm not on the latest version of Firefox

    Hi chrisbondi,

You can see this message under the Google search box on www.google.com/firefox which is the old default Firefox homepage. This page is no longer maintained by Google.

You should try to change your home page:

    topic: Home

If you don't know how to change the home page, you should take a look at the Knowledge Base How to set the home pagearticle.

    Hope this helps

  • Videos will not play if Adobe Flash is installed

I've always used Adobe Flash and never had a problem with it.  When I installed the latest version several months ago, I discovered that videos would not play at all. It's not fair, You Tube either; This is a site I visit. Six months of treaty which was too good, so I uninstalled, went online to look for an alternative and guess what? Playback of videos very well at MOST sites.  Others say that I need to install Flash Player.

It is confusing, especially since I have no idea why this is happening. At the moment I haven't installed Flash, but I need to solve this problem. Any help would be appreciated regarding ideas, recommendations etc. Thank you.

YouTube is almost finished with the move to HTML5 (MP4). The reason thay did it must be accessible to viewers to phone and a tablet that cannot use Flash. JavaScript in their pages determines whether a browser has Flash Player, and if it isn't, the page will display the video in HTML5. That's why you see what you're doing here. NOT all websites have done however. Yahoo working on it, just like Hulu, Dailymotion and others. NetFlix is spent reading, which causes its own problems, if you have not INSTALLED SilverLight.

Add to this mix, Microsoft has published (without any "real world" test) IE 11 almost two months (October 18) and it has been a nightmare to say the least. Pages/Sites do not recognize because they threw a code in it, and... If a page or site may not recognize the browser, he certainly does not plug-ins that it uses. No problem for the HTML5 video that does not require the player, but Facebook Pogo games and many other Flash sites require a browser and plug-in that the code acknowledges.

    Is your browser accidentally IE11?
