Hello

It is not a question we can answer?

You should contact your provider to check if the startup message is legitimate.

  • Internal FlashBlock is no more? The "ask to activate" no longer works right.

I moved from FF 22 to the latest version today and one of the few things I don't like is that I have to use Flashblock addon again. 22 FF was an option click to activate plugins. I've tried to set "Ask to activate" in the options of the plugin, but it fails. Once I have activate Flash on a YouTube page, it gets activated for all of the videos that I opened, which makes them autoplay. I see any reason for these changes, because the old system had the ability to set permissions for a site up and had all the advantages of Flashblock addon as well.
Are there opportunities for the old behavior back? There is a reason, the new behavior, which is pretty much a subset of features old, is in place now?

Hello GrayFace, the current behavior click-to-play going to white-list plugin content by the same domain during the 60 minutes (this is done to to minimize the distraction for users having to constantly re - allow each page load).

If you prefer the old behavior, you can use this addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/click-to-play-per-element

  • After discounting lost 8.1 Windows, moreover, Windows 8, asking to activate again.

Original title: Windows asking to activate again.

I used windows 8 on my Dell Vostro 2520. A couple of weeks, I've updated to 8.1 and I had no problem with windows 8.1. But since yesterday, I started to get continuous https errors, even to https://google.com the browser said there are certificate errors (my friends using the same wifi network I use had no such problem). Chrome told me that my date is not correct. My calendar showed 10024 year and there was also a warning that the date is out of range. I tried to change the date, but I got the message that it could not be changed. So I decided to restore my windows. I chose the option that keeps your personal files and removes all software. On the update page, it has been shown that "you'll have new update to windows 8.1". But restarting does not help me. I had the same problem of https, also lost 8.1 now my pc is Windows 8. And as he asks me to activate windows... Help me

    Hello Anu,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I would be grateful if you could provide us with the following information:

    1. You get an error while activating Windows 8?
    2. You are able to access Web sites now?

I understand your concern about your computer. I suggest to try the activation of Windows 8 with the product key of Windows 8 and try the update to Windows 8.1.

  • Why an Add - keep it swinging back on Ask to activate when I set it to always turn on?

So my question of the unit is not resolved, but for some reason, whenever I put it to "Always enable", every time I leave the tab it switches back on 'ask to activate '.

There is a problem of non-public safety with the Unity Web Player, so temporarily may not be programmed to always enable to avoid untrusted sites using this. I hope that this will be resolved in the next version. However, in the meantime, you can give a site permission using the Plugin notification icon.

If this is not familiar: when you visit a site that wants to use the unit, you should see a notification icon in the address bar and usually (but not always) one of the following values: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an information bar slides between the toolbar and in the page area.

The plugin notification in the address bar icon in general looks like a small, dark gray Lego block; It can be red for high-risk plugins.

If you see a good reason to use the unit, and the site looks trustworthy, you can go ahead and click on the notification icon in the address bar and he approve it. Firefox should then load the player into the page.

  • How to unlock a site Web to use a plug-in when activating the plugin defined as 'Ask to activate?

    Hi all

In the desperate not to use Flash more attempts, I put the activation setting to 'ask to activate '. Then I went on a website (which uses the Flash) and Firefox prompted me if yes or not I allow this Web site says to use the Flash. I didn't allow this site to use at the time so I first clicked on the cross to close the issue. But she appeared again and I then said 'Keep blocking' (or whatever it may be in English).

However, I now want to use Flash on this website while keeping the 'Ask to activate"setting. But the guest does not show even after restarting Firefox. So the question is how can we get back it? How to enable a Web site use a plugin after the user said no?

    Thanks in advance.

    Roadkiller

When you click on "Keep blocking" Firefox adds an entry to the basis of site permissions (permissions.sqlite) to you don't bother with the information bar more. The notification icon to always appear in the address bar.

You can also view the permissions of the Page Info dialog Panel. You can call it using one of these:

    • Right click and select View Page Info > permissions
    • (menu bar) Menu Tools > Page Info > permissions
    • Click the icon of padlock or globe to the left of the address of the site > additional information > permissions

There should be a section from the permissions list of plugin on the site where you can find 'Adobe Flash' and if it is set to block, change it back to "Use default".

If that's not restore the bar information, and you can't live without it, there are three ways less than ideal to clear this permission setting:

    (1) use the feature "Forget this Site" to erase all data for the site: site permissions, bookmarks, cookies, history, everything. If you right click on any entry in the history of the site, "Forget this Site" is on the shortcut menu.

    (2) completely remove database permissions from site (but this removes things like blocks of cookie, permissions popup, etc. for all sites). I do not recommend this.

    (3) use an extension that allows you to edit the permissions from site database (a little involved, see: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1011980#answer-606947).

  • Flash does not give me the dialogue 'ask to activate '.

I don't get "click here to activate" option on Flash videos sometimes. I noticed a problem on the site it is Yahoo News. And it seems that if I put back to "ask to activate" Flash "always enable" then it will work for a while (maybe up to that I close the browser again?).

I have no problem with it until the update to 35.0.

Disable the "protected mode" seems to have cured especially of the question.

Ironically, this page of Adobe does nothing when I click on the link "Activate Adobe Flash", but it seems I can live especially with questions now.

No idea what I can do to get the "protected mode" to work, because it seems to be a good feature to have what I've read about it.

  • I have not now why Iolo ask to scan my computer?

    * Original title: Iolo Scan

I have not now why Iolo ask to scan my computer.  I don't remember when I download it.

    Hi Linda,.

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.

According to the description of the problem, you've found a popup of lolo to scan your computer. If you have not installed this app and you don't need you can remove or uninstall this application from the control panel. This application can be installed with another application or software recently installed on your system.

You can see the article mentioned below to uninstall any application/software from your system.

Uninstall, change or repair a program

In addition to this I suggest you run a full scan using the Microsoft Safety Scanner (MSS) to ensure that the computer is virus-free.

The Microsoft Safety Scanner free is a downloadable security tool that allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malicious software. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Hope this information is useful. If the problem persists, please post back with the current state of your problem and the outcome of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.
