• Need help to fill in a text box in a drop-down list.

  I think I have most of the code and correct settings, but I need help.

  I have a drop down list that is populated with 3 States. When a certain State is selected in the drop-down list, I need a text box to fill with tax information for each State. I list them set up variables that define the drop-down list data and the data that I want to appear in the text box. I also code basic javascript in place - but it is not perfect.

  The problems I'm having with the dynamic .pdf file include:

  1. where a State is selected in the drop-down list, the user must first click the text box so that the appropriate text appears in the box.

  2. when a State is selected in the drop-down list and the user clicks on the text box to display the text of tax info, tax info text does not change as it should if a user selects a different State in the drop-down list.

  3. the tax information in the text box will appear for 2 States (what is because the variable list that I put in place for these States has too many characters of text? Is there a way to bypass this limitation?)

  Can someone help me change the javascript code and settings that I use to make the text field to fill in correctly? It is the first project of livecycle that I tried and my first experience with javascript.

  I use 8 adobe life cycle designer to make shapes. These forms are usesd to collect information on people working in the health sector.

  I want to use drop-down lists that are "connected". According to the choice made in the first box, the user will receive new options in the second box.

  Example:

  Dropbox 1

  Values

  -value 1

  -value 2

  -value 3

  Dropbox 2

  If the value of things 1 user, they can choose the following values in dropbox 2:

  -Value has

  -Value B

  If the value of things 2 user, they can choose the following values in dropbox 2:

  -Value C

  -Value D

  If the value of things 3 user, they can choose the following values in dropbox 2:

  -Value E

  -Value F

  I've been puzzeling for awhile, but impossible to find the solution for this.

  I m stuck with this drop-down menu that I need to have a red background, if the TBD option is active (which is the default) and have no backgrond if no other option is selected.

  

  

  

  The red background is a red rectangle that is visible or hidden, I have all code in the event of modification of the drop-down list:

  Then it works fine.

  "xfa.event.newText" evaluates to dropdown in the runtime.

• Drop-down list boxes & menu bar drop-down lists don't no projection in 32.0

  Just upgraded to 32.0 Firefox on my laptop under Windows 7 Professional, for some unknown reason, drop-down boxes on different websites and Firefox menu bar lists drop-down would not show. When you click in the drop-down boxes, blue they just (as usual), but the list would not show. Firefox menu bar drop-down list behave the same way.

  I restarted Firefox in safe mode and this problem does not exist. I suspect it's something to do with the "Default 32.0' under 'Appearance' (as it has been disabled in safe mode). There is no 'Disable' button visible to delete this sub mode. Obviously I can not remove this in SafeMode either.

  I hope you can help as no setting change made during the upgrade and it has become unusable (so go to Google Chrome in the meantime).

  It's the default theme, and it is not actually disabled mode without failure.
