Flash Player 126.96.36.199 does not work on Firefox 46.0.1 after the installation of 10 Windows on a laptop of Dell XPS 17 L702X. Continuously, it crashes. It works great with IE and Chrome.
I tried the following:
-Disabling Add-ons on Firefox
-Do a clean installation of Flash Player
-Do a reinstall of Firefox
When I use "Flash Player Help" to check if Flash Player is installed, he said that my operating system is Windows 7. It is not; It's Windows 10. I used recommend it download when I looked at the Adobe Web site.
What should I do to get Flash Player to work on Firefox?
Thanks in advance for your help.
I downloaded the 64-bit version of Firefox and Flash Player works now
fine. I left the 32-bit version on my computer at the moment.
Thanks a lot for your help. I really appreciate it.

Try creating a new profile as a test to check whether your profile is the source of the problems.
See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.
Unable to download/install Flash Player, download script error: cannot properly set innerHTML reference undefined or null
The script error is caused by the DPI setting on your system. If the DPI setting is set to 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% Setup returns the script error. If your DPI setting is set to something else, please set it to one of these and Setup online should work. To check/change the DPI setting:
- Start the control panel and go to control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display
- In the left menu, select set size custom text (PPP)
- In the Windows Setup custom DPI select 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% in the menu drop-down
- Click OK
- Select apply
- Open a session/disable
- Online installer should now run without displaying the script error.
A fix for this should be released in the coming weeks.
Up to and including Flash Player 13, I was able to refer to one. SWF file using the UNC path of the file (\\Server\Folder\File.swf) path.
Since I installed Flash Player 14 and 15, I did not refer to the file using the UNC path, but instead have to connect a network drive on the server and the folder (X:\File.swf).
Can someone tell me why I can't use the UNC path? Or is there a setting that I need to check?
If it is possible to push an update app users, I would recommend for paths in your application instead of using UNC by using the file URI scheme .
For example, file://host/path will work for Flash player version 13 to 15 without any problem. This will not solve the problem for users who have opted for the option 'never check updates', which is recommended by all means not as they also will not be able to receive some important security updates that Adobe makes available in each version.
Hope this helps,
The debug window has been removed. Thank you for your patience. If you still - refresh your cache and everything should be good.

I got the flashplayer for 10.3.183.5 update version at the right moment, but I found is not a job for my previous files. Look here :ttp://www.go2album.com/album/2008/200808/20080828/jackzhang/20110810213301/test.swf the swf file it did not display in Flash Player 10.3.183.5. What happens there?
Note: for earlier version of the Flash Player is working very well.
Thanks Jack. The player should be backwards compatible, so I'm going to update the bug with your conclusions.
I have the drive i-player and itv, bbc, for some reason any, that they have stopped working 2 days ago, I tried to install Flash player again, but programs still do not work... any suggestions?
I tried re-insalling adobe flash player, but without success... can someone please give me advice, I am without TV on my computer and it's getting boring
By chance point your Flash 2 days ago? I heard that it has caused a few problems. Try to uninstall the latest version and not a return.
I hope this helps.
On Web sites with videos I can't watch them as it says you do not have Flash player and I need to download adobe flash player. The main one I use is Twitch.tv. I click on this link to download it, but having said that I already have flash player and try the troubleshooting for Windows 10 method. This does not at all. Whenever I try to download it, it goes to this troubleshooting instead of the download page page and says he works. But it is quite obviously not. I'm under 10 64-bit windows.
I hope you can help.
First of all, check that the ActiveX filtering is configured to allow Flash content:
You can try to work around these problems by using the compatibility view:
If it's too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a better alternative.
If you have a discreet set of links that work in some browsers but not IE/Edge, links would be useful to determine if this is a content problem, flash problem or a matter of IE/Edge...
I'm on Windows XP Home Edition, using IE8 and try to install Flashplayer 10.0.45.2. I've installed and used the ADM indicates that the installation is complete and returns me to the Adobe download page. I do not get the correct view that the player installed, and a dialog box opens indicating ' the version of Adobe Flash Player, you try to install is not the latest version. " Please visit http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer_fr for the latest and most secure version. "This url puts me right back where I started. I went through the stuff to manage add-ons, nothing helps. Very frustrated... Please help.
Hi, here is the link to the 10.1. If you want to uninstall the 10.1, page down until you see "Uninstall" then
Just follow the instructions.
As I understand it, that will uninstall Flash Player from all browsers.

Flash Player cannot write or read local shared objects in the directory of the user redirected because ban us junctions crossing (flexible connections for non-Microsoft people) in the broker process. This behavior has been disabled to address a vulnerability identified in some of the research of John Forshaw, in the broker of EI, earlier in the year.
If you don't want to change your infrastructure, you can enable this behavior by adding the following parameter to mms.cfg:
EnableInsecureJunctionBehavior = 1
That said, you can put together probably in the name of the indicator that we don't really recommend this approach and disable this default attack surface. There is a risk that an attacker on the network could create content that abuses of the fundamental issues with how Windows manages the junction Points to write to arbitrary locations.
More information about Junction Points can be found here:
If you are going to live with this attack surface, it is probably worth your time to look at the James Forshaw talk on IE sandbox sand escapes, which have brought these changes:
My girlfriend needs Adobe Lightroom for a photography class, she is taken abroad. She doesn't have access to large amounts of data. I was wondering if there is anyway to download Lightroom on a USB key and give it when I see it in a few days. She is able to drag all the files from the player directly on his computer? Or she would still have some data to download?
Lightroom cloud must have access to the Internet to install
You can download the version files Lightroom serial number anywhere you wish... but Internet is still required to activate serial number

In the new version of Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.110 the images are not displayed. In previous versions, they are displayed. Tested on multiple computers. It is not a local problem. It is a problem for Adobe. The bad news is that the first versions are very hard to find and reinstall.
Many tested systems. And all browsers.
There is now no big picture.
and many others...
Beta channel of last week (11.5.502.123) includes a correction which should solve this problem.
More details here:
You can download the beta here: http://www.adobe.com/go/flashplayerbeta
If you continue to experience the problem after you install the beta version, please let me know.

You probably get this from all angles, but the most recent update for Flash Player (10.3.183.7) JUST DO NOT WORK CORRECTLY.
I keep my browsers updated and as of today (5 September 2011) Flash WORKS in "small pane in the browser" mode (for example, in Youtube) BUT VA VIRGIN AS SOON AS LARGER.
Note that overlay the legends and pause / graphic reading DO all the work - it's only video decompression that is not - leave black and white screen.
It's FireFox 7.0 both last Google Chrome: I carefully uninstalled & replace Flash form the links you have posted here and IT STILL DOES NOT WORK in full screen.
You must release really NO new version of automatic update code like this that are not properly tested: it has mucked up watching a video for millions of people unnecessarily.
Because of the new accelerator support? who knows. It's a living environment, the Toshiba Satellite Pro (we do not have all go and buy new PC every 10 weeks like you developers do) and it has a P4 and the integrated graphics card Intel 82852 standard: perfectly fine until last week. But it has 64 MB graphic and I see that 10.3.183.7 now 'requires' 128 MB? You can not just make assumptions like that: I bet that there are 50 million more RAM VGA PC there with 64 MB (or less).
Adobe is a great product, but it is a complete and total ball * ls - up like we in England is called: Please excuse my Anglo-Saxon franchise. Sorting, please.
Mike, London, exasperated
You could run into problems of video acceleration here. I apologize and we do not have an internal bug against it (bug #2950542), which will be fixed in the next version of Flash Player. In the meantime, you can try turning off hardware acceleration to see if that makes a difference?
